Redeemer: Enhanced Edition
A really good punch-through-them-all type of game. Brutal, bloody and very straight in what it does. The story motivation is quite basic: some high-tech mercs burned your village and you have to bring that fire back to their base, right on your fists. It’s not a really thorough story, and the English version of texts ain’t exactly Shakespeare (neither does original Russian text or any other language in that game). But surely it’s not about “story” that people actually buy those games for, it’s about gameplay. And with that Redeemer is pretty. Especially for the given price. Well, maybe “pretty” ain’t a proper word, as this is all about throwing punches and kicks, bashing and squashing your enemies heads and blasting some stuff on the way…

Enter the Дракон
Redeemer is an old-school action title from a Russian developer Sobaka Studio. The player embodies persona of Vasyli - an ex-mercenary, turned a Tibetan monk on a quest for inner peace. Vasyli’s attempts at achieving equilibrium will be cut short, as the game opens with monastery getting invaded by a military force. After roughly 20 second-long hesitation Vasyli returns to his old ways. Now there will be blood, guns and very outward bouts of violence up for the player to deliver. What could possibly be a better way to apprehend a man capable of ripping somebody’s head off with his bare hands? Send in waves of poorly armed grunts, expecting them to beat their quarry into submission, because of course it is.

Anstorm
If you like simple top-down twin-stick shooters give this one a try. Anstrom seems to be inspired by Ubermosh and TTV and basically offers a mix of both, though it’s not so much hardcore arcade-style. There is a campaign (story mode) with bosses (ans some are pretty good, classic 2d Contra-like). The campaign alternates between arena actions with different objects (clear area, run, survive x seconds, find something, destroy something, and more) and fewer maze levels (TTV-ish with enemies). And then there is Survival mode which comes in two separate flavors, Maze and Arena, that is more arcade.

A very solid 2D-Arcade-Shooter. It has it’s charm even though character movement can lookt a little bit janky. I helped to translate the game so if you don’t understand something it is probably my fault. The dev is open for criticism so if you want to help improve the game just help him out.

Disassembly Line
This is a pretty fun game! The controls on mouse + keyboard are easy to work with. Reminds me a lot of the Tanks game from Wii Play, but with fancier graphics and design. For the price, its definitely worth the buy!

Well the game isn’t really the best, I kept dying because the bots literally had aimbot (or it seemed like it) Aiming your own tank is very difficult because it doesn’t actually follow the mouse. I don’t even know why I bought this game.

Armoured Alliance
Excellent, fast paced game. A good cross between a third person shooter and real time strategy. Speed chess meets Go one could say.
A great balance of tactics and higher level strategy, You are a tank that basically has to efficiently gather and deploy resources (bases, ammunition, turrets, trees and much more) with the objective of map control (to defeat the opponents).
Replay-ability is extremely high given multiplayer and a great player community (on discord which will be available in the forum page). This kind of game has kept me hooked for around 20 years! Well recommended to all.

This game offers a lot more than what you see at first glance.
You’ll struggle, You’ll find it difficult at first.
Just like any other game that is hard, after you take the time to learn its mechanics, it is really rewarding.
You’re going to come up with strategies to crush your enemies, find out efficient methods of taking down turrets, defending your base and your turret.
Your build will die and you will rage but you’ll get to know that you’re suppose to take care of the little fellow! Which means you can destroy your enemies little fellow aswell as soon as they make a mistake!
