Eternal Starlight VR
Yup. 20 hours. Still enjoying this.
Great place to hang out: Music, scenery, story (skippable, for when you’ve heard it), cool ship design, and options for ship upgrades are plentiful and cool looking in their own right. I love a place with a low-key theme, in which epic battles are played out – much better than chaos in every direction all the time.
I enjoy playing the “same” scenario (it has some random alterations) more than once because this game allows for multiple strategies. It’s fun to win one way. Then think of another approach to try and work out how to win that way, too. In formation, or not? Multiple ships, or one very well equipped ship? What are those little fighters really good for?

This game is a good example of what I always wanted in VR. Omnipotent view of a 3D battlefield and the ability to RTS the crap out of your enemies. The controls feel good and the combat and ship mechanics all seem very nice. So I would recommend this game just for those factors. Overall, the story plays out balanced and difficulty ramps up appropriately. By the time you get into larger combats later in the campaign, with more ships at your disposal, the VR controls really get a chance to shine.

Broken Arrow
Broken Arrow is a large-scale real-time modern warfare tactics game. The base game features both the American and Russian factions, more than 100 units and multiple deck specialisations per nation.
Broken Arrow brings the genre to a whole new level by combining the complexity of a joint-forces wargame with the typical real-time tactics action-packed gameplay.
UNIQUE ARMY BUILDING
Build your army deck by choosing from over 200 different units. Part of the battle is won by planning well: create the right combination of unit types and weapons to defeat your enemy, and don’t forget to consider the terrain when you choose.
Broken Arrow features a wide range of units, that are split into seven categories based on their characteristics: your army deck includes recon units, infantry, fighting vehicles, support units, logistical units, helicopters and airstrikes slots.
-
RECON UNITS: includes infantry, vehicles and drones specialized in the task of spotting and marking the enemy position.
-
INFANTRY: includes line infantry, shock troops, special forces, anti-tank teams, anti-aircraft teams.
-
FIGHTING VEHICLES: includes tanks, ATGM carriers and fire support vehicles.
-
SUPPORT: includes artillery and anti-aircraft vehicles that provide long range support on the battlefield.
-
LOGISTICS:, includes all the units designed to improve combat efficiency by providing ammunition, repairs, medical supplies and much more.
-
HELICOPTERS: includes multipurpose cavalry units best used far from the heatpoints.
-
AIRSTRIKES: includes many different weapons, swarms of tactical missiles and airdrops of troops, vehicles and supplies.
CUSTOM UNITS
Modern vehicles and aircraft are generally compatible with different weapons and armor packages; Broken Arrow features a detailed customisation system that allows you to modify the specific components of your units, either individually or as a loadout.
-
Customize your aircraft by choosing weapons, fuel tanks, designation pods, countermeasure pods and decoys.
-
Add armor or defensive systems to your vehicles and upgrade their weaponry and sensors.
-
Special forces have access to a wide variety of equipment for you to choose: add suppressors, thermal optics, reconnaissance drones, explosive charges and much more.
ACTION-PACKED COMBAT
Choose the right combination of units from your deck and deploy them to the battlefield, via land, the sea or from the air. Use paratroopers and helicopters to rapidly seize key locations, reinforce them with heavy tanks and break enemy counter attacks with artillery and tactical missiles.
Infiltrate special forces behind enemy lines to disrupt enemy logistics and provide laser designation for your planes. Use the terrain to your advantage to ambush, out flank and outsmart your enemy.

Danger Zombies
A game that seems to have severe memory leaks that impacted my PC long after the game was closed. The game also brought my gaming desktop PC with an intel i7 10700 @ 3.4 Ghz, GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER, and 16 GB of DDR4 dual channel RAM to its knees! I averaged about 5 to 10 fps and got as low a 1 fps trying to play this BS asset trash.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvbSWhROn48
The developer purchased an asset map on the Unity asset store, purchased a player model and built in controls, and also bought a single zombie asset and loaded the asset map with about 3,000 of the zombie assets and then hit export on Unity. Uploaded it to Steam with the name “Danger Zombies”. He didn’t even bother making a proper settings page, with no sound options at all, and a drop down of empty resolution choices!

Mud and Blood
I love the Mud And Blood saga.
I’ve been a fan for 15 years of the games and the concept behind, which is kept in its Steam version.
It’s a one man army of a game which provides you with a strict and unforgiving challenge.
The game requires you to be alert and actively playing, focusing on each decision and movement in order to avoid certain defeat. This causes the player to descend in a trance, in which you need to be at 100% of your playing capabilities.
The game “fuses” MnB2 and MnB3 togheter, and are now being called classic and campaign.

As a tester for this game, there’s a reason why I have played this many hours of this game. I’m not the kind of guy who’s a masochist, especially as someone who can remember plenty of times raging at this game. Some moments will be easy and some moments will be randomly challenging. But for new players, especially those unfamiliar with the older Mud and Blood flash games, you will get screwed really hard in the first few or even several hours until you learn. However despite all those moments, I still come back and play this game again and again because its difficulty is what makes winning rewarding, and its randomness is what makes the game replayable. I’ve lost lots of men to standard rifleman, and other times I managed to beat back a element of infantry backed by armored vehicles.

I played the game a few hours now and what can I say, the game is awesome.
Switching between first and third person is a lot of fun. You can command and build from the air. and on the ground you can really fight along with the soldiers, it’s cool. I’ve rarely seen anything like this in VR games. The graphics are good and the atmosphere is really great, like a first C&C in VR, and there’s a little story too. It also runs very smooth on my old PC, but I had to reduce the graphics. For the price really good fun and I can absolutely recommend it.

Island Crusaders
Probably my new favorite causal RTS game, and cant wait to see new troops/levels added!!! Beautiful art style, with very nice looking characters and levels (Including the main menu). The battles are fast-paced but timed really well to prevent an overwhelming number of troops. Unlike most RTS games I’ve played, you don’t have to dedicate a large amount of time to play this, but there’s a ton of content for such a low price!

A really awesome stylish and casual RTS game. Perfect for newcomers to the genre and people (like me) who love RTS games. It has really satisfying battles and it’s super unique and fun to play through. And, there’s a TON of content for being so cheap!!

King and Kingdoms
Whatever you do DO NOT buy this game, yes its in development but that is not an excuse for the developers to totally ignore players when they submit tickets reporting faults
The game has a research section, the developers decided to alter it and in doing so the section no longer works, it refuses to carry out any research stating that you have insufficient resources to carry out the research … strange when my resources are over twenty times that needed
The game does not allow you to carry out what is basically the whole idea of it, to take over other kingdoms, it is hard enough to work out how at the beginning with no game instructions but eventually when you do work it out don’t expect it to work

Manual Intervention VR
While it has to be said that ‘Manual Intervention VR’ is little more than a modern-day asteroid clone I still found myself enjoying it. There is a certain playability about it even if those interactions are basic at best. The controls are pretty basic as well, one controller to aim ad fire the missiles and the other to spin/rotate the planet. I have to say rotating it too fast does lead to a touch of nausea, but nothing too bad. Sure, the graphics are adequate at best, but what do you want for just £2.09? For that price, you get a pretty good arcade-style game that retro fans will love and there is even a touch of the anime graphical novel thrown in for good measure. While not exactly original it’s still pretty great fun for a cheap price.

Para Bellum - Hold the Line
great fun little war game. easily worth the 10 bucks it costs.
edit:
the new updates, for example the GMG really kick ***!!

A cool little tactical war game with emphasis on realism. The developer is very active in discord and listens to feedback from the players. Already holds a good amount of content and I can see this growing to a gem during early access.
