VoxStory - The Cinematic TTRPG
What is VoxStory?
VoxStory is the cinematic way to experience tabletop roleplaying. Keeping all of your favourite aspects of TTPRG’s and bringing them to the big screen, VoxStory is the modern way to roleplaying.
VoxStory remains true to the tabletop style of gaming, the gamemaster will set the scene while the roll of the dice determines your actions. But with VoxStory you can see the story play out on screen.
For the Gamemaster
World generation. Auto building. Climate management
World building is made easy with VoxStory. Each world is made up of a series of tiles that are generated from parameters you set. With multiple biomes, dimensions, and terrain options your base landscape can be generated instantly.
Once the Tile has been generated you can edit the landscape in more detail and begin adding buildings and objects. The Autobuild feature allows you to rapidly generate structures without the hassle of repetition, perfect for large settlements or less important buildings
You can control every detail, even down to the density of the fog or colour of the rain
For the Player
Character creation. Choices made easy. Inventory management. Control it from your phone
Character creation can be done on the free mobile companion app or in-game. 10 races and 12 classes at launch allows for plenty of choice for the player. After selecting the basics of your character like race and class, you can customise your character from their armour colour down to their eyes.
The gameplay itself is similar to traditional TTRPGs. Once the GM has set the scene, the players take it in turns to make actions, the results of which are determined by the roll of dice.
When entering a battle the players and enemies initiate turn-based combat. The turn order is based on several things including skills, spells and other actions.

Airships for Combat and Transportation

Floating Islands with Dynamically Changing Seasons
In IoE, seasons change dynamically in front of your eyes. Like day/night cycle, seasons add another layer of complexity to gameplay dynamics and strategy.
Natural Disasters
Natural disasters, such as Earthquakes, Meteors, Volcano eruptions, Tornadoes, occur randomly throughout the Isles.
Voxel Combat and Spell Weaving
Voxel environment can be altered to your advantage during combat. IoE not only offers a variety of spells but the possibility to spell-weave as well!
Game play in IoE
The environment in this game is completely destructible. Terrains and structures can be altered and destroyed by player or monsters. Players have to venture into the world in order to acquire power and magic spells from monsters, Shrines and lore books.
Eden: New Dawn
I would recommend you wait for major patches/updates to release for the game seems to be at an odd state where the servers lag with your position quite a bit and the only thing you can do is build in creative.
Not much really to it yet but I can’t wait to see if they add things like paint explosive and portals like in World Builder, I still play that game its so nostalgic to me.
Also to send messages in chat longer than one word you cant space it out you need to use underscores.
Needless to say glad I got to see its current build since it just released in Early Access and that I get to support the devs with my purchase.

This review represents the game’s state on September 29, 2021. If lots of time time has passed since this review, then the game may have received major updates and this review may no longer be relevant.
I purchased Eden World Builder many years ago in the earlier days of the iPhone/iPod Touch and it was one of my favorite mobile games of that era (the game still runs on modern iOS hardware btw!). Some of the updates later in its life seemed interesting, but eventually it ended up being an abandoned project. So of course when I heard they were working on a new Eden game, I had to wishlist it on Steam and buy it on launch. From viewing this page I had already figured this wasn’t exactly going to be a Eden World Builder type game, but I always wanted a proper survival mode so why not.

Lendas
Denied from both heaven and hell, the Corpo-seco was forced to roam the world like a lost soul.
Lost by hatred, he swore revenge on gods and humans.
In his quest for power, he allied himself with an immortal Witch named Cuca and thus acquired the power of domination over almost every magical creature in the world.
What is Lendas?
Lendas is an action RPG with focus on exploration and survival in a living ecosystem procedurally generated.
You will harvest resources, defeat powerfull creatures and borrow their powers to defeat the Corpo-seco and the mighty Cuca.
Forge Quest
This game is amazing with a high potential to become an awesome game for a very low price. Yes it is early access and they are still working on it, there is no release date for a final version. The developer care so much and are always present in the forums and help if you mention problems or bugs and solve them in no time.
When I bought it, I had my first play through and after this I could start on a higher difficulty with the same character. I had my second play through and got the invitation to play the pre-release of the new version. Now, with the latest update, they over thought everything they made before, changed all dungeons and now on my third play through I have the feeling to play a brand new game!

Really fun action RPG with online co-op. It’s voxel (3d pixel) based so it’s got a fun appearance and runs well with very low resource use. There’s a bit of a storyline, but mostly you just enter the dungeons and murder everything. Monsters drop an abundance of loot with varying rarity levels. You can hold FIVE HUNDRED items, which is fantastic, I didn’t even know there was a limit until ~3rd dungeon.
I focused on ranged (pistol & throwing knives) and my colleague is using melee (sword, katars, sometimes a bow as a sidearm), so I haven’t seen much of the Magic side of things. Some weapons rapidly auto-fire (throwing knives, katars), and some charge up to do a secondary effect. For example, the pistol fires a big ball of energy that does extra damage and pierces through targets. The sword swings in an AoE circle, and the bow does a more powerful shot…I believe.

Bought it for $0.5 and it was an interesting experience. You move your pistols/hands with the left/right mouse triggers and shoot with q/e. You turn by pressing a/d. Aiming feels similar to surgeon simulator. I like the concept but I wish it was more of an “on-the-rails” style shooter with this aiming system; I don’t like the manual turning and getting shot from all angles at once.
It has some issues:
Most importantly, there are targets in spots that you have to hit while moving (pressing a or d) because you cant target them on the screen. You can’t move your guns far enough to the left or right to hit the target without shooting while in motion. I’m not sure if this is intentional but it’s very annoying. This also happens with some of the low targets. You can’t crouch and aim down low enough to hit some targets, especially on the last piggy bank shooting gallery.
