Divilixa
It’s free, give it a shot! However, there are so many alternatives in this genre that are well established titles and also free or next to free that I would give Divilixa a lot longer in development before committing serious time to it.
Some feedback:
-
Make it so that the player can just hold the left mouse button down to attack instead of clicking over and over
-
Take a little time to edit the models so that there isn’t a white background to the player character and enemies (it looks like everything was drawn on Post-It notes, scanned, and uploaded into the game)

Dragonpath
This reminded me a bit of playing Sunken recently, I like the combat and mechanics alot better here, Sunken has nicer graphics but lacks dashing and combat speed. Wish they would team up to make the best of both worlds.^^
Played the first 2 levels and I must say the dodging, blocking and attacking feels great.
Downsides are on the sound design (not bad, but you can tell there are some free stock sounds in there), graphical detail (the head of your character looks a bit like a potato) and trashmob design (like 1-3 mobs per room instead of typical arpg hordes, bosses were fine tho)

Can’t really recommend here’s why…
First off I bought this on sale. 66% off… what a Deal!
There is 4 chapters of play, with 4 levels in each chapter. Items are very bland and generic, and you can just upgrade them in the “outpost” and gold is so easy to get you will always have them maxed out, I’m pretty sure I used the same set of gear from my first run threw as I did up threw newgame+4…. Had a weapon with Bleed and Thundering, and a trinket with lifesteal it was over from there on everyone was smacked around like it was nothing, And there was no way for me to get weaker, I just had to stop at a outpost and upgrade my gear to my new max… I wish this was more then it is, because I kind of like it, but at the same time there is to much and to little going on at the same time..

Cook Dungeon
Honestly I love this game. Most people are blasting it for stolen are and what not but its cheap and the devs listen to the community. This game has amazing speed running potential with all of the glitches in it. I find myself coming back for more and I really enjoy the time playing this game. Some of the bugs can get annoying at times but seeing how the devs are actually working on making the game better I would say that they will not be around for long. I do feel like the game needs a tutorial or something to help you understand what you are doing but some people like having to figure that out. With 21 hours in this game I cant recommend this game enough and I feel like this game can really go somewhere in the future.

This game is a zero. I played it and thought it was fun at first. I thought there might be a trick to the “cooking”, but after extensive testing it seems to be random. I thought maybe you could infinitely clear the dungeon and get stronger… But no. Maybe encounter cool and interesting enemies… Also no… Also they STOLE PIXEL ART FROM OTHER GAMES!!! Namely POKEMON. Which is wrong… for a little more info read on.
If you beat the main “BOSS” but don’t save the princess eventually the game will lock you in an inescapable room.

MetaMorph: Dungeon Creatures
Truth in reviewing: I was a late addition to the beta team and got a copy for free.
I’ve enjoyed my time with MetaMorph. It’s a good, solid dungeon crawler with some fine carnage and tight, well-paced levels. It doesn’t do anything particularly revolutionary with the Gauntlet template, but it has a samurai bunny rabbit and flying buzzsaws. It’s the little things.
The gimmick of the game is simple enough: you play a fantasy critter that can (eventually) morph between three forms. You’ve got your sword-wielding rabbit (fast and deadly), your ogre (big and smashy), and a fire nymph that can toast enemies at range. Your job is to obliterate all the monsters in each level and scoot to the exit. Each form has its own stengths and special attacks, so the trick is to use the right Morph at the right time for maximum effectiveness, and also to not die so much. Enemies tend to bunch up and march as a horde, which CAN lead to some need for kiting (that’s bad!), but can also lead to situations where you obliterate a zillion guys at once with good timing. (That’s good!)

One of the most fun ARPGs I’ve played. Each level is less than 4 minutes long and works like a puzzle. There are no useless loot drops every couple of minutes like some other ARPGs and the progression is simple but very satsifying. unlocking new spirit forms and unlocking abilites for them is always exciting.
Each of the forms work VERY differently from the others and you will HAVE to shuffle between them dr=uring gameplay because of their abilites. Add to that the excellent level design and you have yourself a VERY enjoyable and simplified arpg where the only thing that matters is gameplay.

POSTSCRIPT
This game is adapted from my comic.
There is story mode, so don’t worry about not looked the original comic.
I wanted to make a networking game,
however, the network technology is too hard so I deleted the network mode,
instead, used local multiplay mode.
Players can use STEAM’s Remote Play Together or PARSEC or other third share screen platforms for online connection.
Eternal Cycle 永劫之环
Game introduction:
“Eternal Cycle” tells the story of a protagonist who wakes up from a corroded cave, and finally finds and resolves the source of the cave’s corrosion. The game takes place in a cave corroded by alienated substances. Players experience the entire game flow by manipulating the protagonist who has awakened from the coffin.
The game is a bit like some other games such as little Nightmare series,Inside and limbo.
The protagonist has the ability to explore caves with various props. Throughout the process of exploration, the protagonist will escape from different monsters in search of survival. As the exploration continues, the protagonist will undergo some subtle changes.
Demon Strikes Back
This is what I’m looking for after Wizard of Legends and Dreamscraper!
Fun rouge-like map, amazing combat, cool relics, virtually beautiful scenery.
Worth buying!

It’s a little buggy, but none of it is game breaking. It’s a little grindy, but possible without the grind. It’s a little game, but the ambition behind making something decent paid off.
Every enemy in the game has a clear weakness and moment to attack. Your roll is how you avoid damage, and the attacks are mostly well telegraphed. You can play as a ranged character or a melee character. I prefer the melee personally, but ranged is playable.
All in all, the game passes the time in a fun way, and that’s pretty much all you can ask from a video game.

Dark Forest: Lost Story VR
Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/r9lO-ZJu9Og
This is a horror game for VR that currently only has 1 of 2 story chapters available. The story of Baba Yaga can be split up into three different parts, plus the intro. Whole thing took me approximately 1 hour, but I took the scenic route (which leads to many deaths unfortunately). I think you can easily finish this game in 30 minutes otherwise.
The intro is just really walking from point A to point B while some scary stuff happens. The first part is simply figuring out how to get through the level (finding the key and where to use it) and you may come across the Baba Yaga and she will kill you if you don’t escape. The second part is mostly chasing sequences where you have to find enough obects hidden within the areas. The last part is a horror stealth section where you have to figure out the patrols of enemies who hear very well, but can’t see.
