Dredgers
This is tough, because I love this game and it’s concept. It’s so fun! I have a lot of praise for it.
Unfortunately, I feel like I can’t recommend it at this time for two reasons:
-
Missing basics like any type of saving, which pretty much everything I’ve played since the days of shareware has had, seems quite sloppy. The display of the amount of hours I’ve played isn’t really correct: most of that has been on pause because I didn’t want to exit and lose all my progress on the run.
-
Do you know how my last run ended? No? Neither do I. Based on all the information I had, it didn’t make sense. Many key things are just not explained, so new players are going to go through several baptisms by fire, creating a lot of frustration.

Pretty solid roguelike with emphasis on speedy playthroughs and choosing your next step, though that can be its weakness too. Its big selling points are the 30+ races and crazy class combinations which are very very satisfying to play with, as well as actual honest-to-god necromancy where you can have a zombie horde if you want. Or you could skip zombies altogether, dominate the minds of your enemies, send them at your foes, blow up their (animate or inanimate) corpses into a huge mess when they die and then revive them and your former foes as skeletons. Full crafter build is viable, and thats before we get onto races. Pretty much anything that spawns in the dungeon is something you can unlock and play pretty quickly. Only exception afaik is the slime MAN (you can be a regular slime) but I suspect that’ll be implemented in time.

Living the Nightmare
no horror, not enough blood, not disgusting at all.
it is something like small version of turnbased crimson land.
if you are not into modern graphics and stuff and you are in search for some 30 minutes single session of killing monsters roguelite - it is for you.
advice: turn off ingame music and play some black/grind/funeral of your own collection.
EDIT: vote for game to be more disgusting! (and more stuff).
EDIT: ok, it is not a great-great-great game, also it has frustrating/gamebreaking bugs. but it is sure playable and i just want to support devs a little with positive review. still recommend, yeah!!!

Afar as game that try to somehow fit in the rouge like genre this is one of the more interesting. The tutorial level goes by fast and unfortunately you can’t go back ( at least I don’t know how. ) I like the hex format and overall style of the game , The combat is fitting for what they are trying to do. The only thing that really irritates me is the height thing. Its a pretty addicting little game. I am sure there are those who have ignited all of the shrines but that is not me as of yet. Its fairly cheap price wise so if you like rouge type games and horror definitely pick this up,

The World is Your Weapon
You picked up the Steam Review! Weaco wrote in the gallery!
Story & Dialogue
The story is fairly simple, since it’s mainly about a weapon merchant, Weaco, trying to find a legendary sword due to her love of weaponry. The closest thing it has to an aesop is the third ending, where Weaco has to consider what needs to be done in a peaceful world where the antagonist is defeated, which is something that not all stories address properly. The simplicity doesn’t hurt the game too much, since it seems to be mostly focused on humor and gameplay, though I wish there were more quests and lore associated with the bosses of the game.

I don’t normally enjoy games made from RPGMaker, but I enjoyed this one more than I could have expected. I ran into it randomly while browsing, watched the trailer, laughed, and bought it without hesitation. This game has made me laugh like an idiot many times, and it’s also a lot of fun.
I recommend you avoid reading other reviews so you don’t spoil some of the surprises, but let’s just say you can pick up anything…ANYTHING…and use it as a weapon. You can even huck it in your enemy’s face.

Experienced a glitch that made me immortal (life never went down at all) after playing the game for a few hours…I went through the entire game and hit a wall…the end of a level just a few into the quest that claimed the game was still being developed and more content would be added (then it ended) .it was fun, but this glitch revealed there isn’t much content or point in unlocking the other characters if that’s all the game IS so far…I’m looking forward to not being immortal and having way more game content to experience before playing it anymore…

Rogue Harvest
Something happened. You wake up in a forest. Now you have to survive! Run, the ents are coming!
This is a great game and try to be cautious, surviving the first night won’t be the best. I started to think the best way is just running for your life. This is a complicated survival game or complicated and funny survival game where you have to create the best shelter to avoid the enemies at night. Yeah, they are not so great at day but the skeletons.. and other things, you know. They going to destroy your shelter. Now you know!

Interested in seeing some gameplay? see below!
TL:DR: Cheap but fun roguelike survival game, some way to go before it’s finished, but well worth the price with the current content! 7.5/10
Review
Rogue Harvest is a roguelike survival game, with permadeath and gameplay similar to that of hardcore Minecraft or Terraria. In Rogue Harvest you play as the survivor of a plane crash fighting to make sense of and survive in the hostile world in which he’s found himself. The gameplay is fun and currently semi-deep, there’s several tiers of content for each item (from 2-4 depending on the item) and you are free to create some awesome looking houses to defend yourself with.
