ShiroKuro’s Adventure
Full 100% play through here: https://youtu.be/yYWNYHEWwwo
This is a pretty short cute game there’s not much to it, but it’s pretty entertaining. I wish there was more to the level up system besides health and attack power like abilities and what not. The game gets pretty challenging when you get closer to the end and have to do your best not to step on the wrong tiles. I really feel like the dodge mechanic pausing after the dash is complete really took a lot away from the game that could have made it more fluid and fun if it allowed you to move immediately after the animation completed. The Final Boss at the least should have his own sound effects/music he looked pretty silly finger waggling to the happy go lucky music you’ve listened to the whole game. Overall though I think it was worth the $3.00 it definitely takes some getting used to and the mechanic of controlling them both is challenging/fun to learn.

Grand Battle
Must buy if you like RPGs!
It’s nice to see a solid, well presented and very playable game of this type appear without the usual hype and fanfare, and get plenty of attention for its gameplay rather than its sexy heroine or Hollywood guest stars. These game has made it work. I can tell this is going to be extremely replayable. There is 10 heroes and you make a party of 4 at any one time. You also choose a starting hero and your first partner varies depending on who you choose.

The game takes a little adjusting to but honestly is really enjoyable and reminiscent of a classic old school RPG. You can stat up characters, use equipment slots and seems like there are a lot of abilities just like you would expect. Not a huge story game but seems like a fun hack and slash.

Deadstone
Disclosure: I wrote an article for TechRaptor on this and got early access to produce a review for them.
Fans of the top-down shooter genre will like the progression system in this game and will enjoy the accuracy needed to go further in the game. Hitting zombies in the center results in more damage, and rewards accurate gameplay without being too reliant on it. The progression system makes your character really feel like your own: there are hundreds of combinations you can end up putting together from relying on sentries and the tower defense elements to protect you, to being a speedy shotgunner running around hitting everything.

TLDR:
Good game. Buy it on sale. See conclusion for what sets it apart from other TDS games.
It’s a simple top down shooter. The main shooting gameplay is simple and repeatative as such is the typical restriction of the TDS genre, but yet also at times pretty intense and challenging. And the gameplay as a whole is a repeatative cycle of mission then prepare for the next mission but keeps the player in a comfortable flow that removes the negative feelings of repeatativeness and replaces it with anticipation. Anticipation for what new gear can I buy, or just waiting to get a break from a very tense, challenging mission. The flow and changes in action to strategy is balanced very well and keeps the player engaged. Missions are challenging so you’ll actually appreciate the break from the action and also really enjoy it due to the fact that the player is given so many decisions to make regarding planning the next mission.

Fight The Dragon
Its been very seldom in my PC-gaming life that I have discovered a true gem of a game. FTD is such a game. I will break it all down into three parts: single player, online play ( multi-player), and creative. But first one thing that strikes me from the start: the graphic design of the game is such that it will ( or should) run on low-end computers. The visuals are, for lack of a better term- quirky. Its like a cross between Legos games and LBW with a dash of WoW.
*Single player- In single player you go to an “adventure” screen where you can bring up an incredible assortment of maps to play on. It should be noted ( im guessing here) that over 90% of the availible maps are created BY OTHER PLAYERS. This is both a blessing and a curse: Player-made content is wide and varied. You may get a great and fun map; you may get one that was obviously made by a ADD 12-year old.

If you are into Indie games and like Diablo or similar titles,
it’s definetly worth buying.
it’s a no brainer as steam sale, but also worth the full price.
I have seen some minor negative reviews, who seem to ignore, this game is an indie game.
So keep that in mind and don’t expect it providing features or graphics like a AAA-game such as Diablo 3, etc.
Also at the beginning, you should use the filter and only play well rated adventures.
The battle system is relatively simple, although the RPG-aspects regarding your character (stats, abilities) are probably as complex as the ones in Diablo 3.

Darksiders Genesis
TL;DR
! Darksiders Genesis is a prequel spin-off that introduces new features while re-introducing countless aspects of the other games. If you’ve been a fan of the franchise at any point, you should definitely not skip this entry. If you’re a newcomer, this may be a good entry point.
If you expect Diablo in a Darksiders costume, you’re tragically mistaken.

I’ve completely fallen in love with this game. For a low-budget spin-off it is absolutely fantastic. I had never really even paid much attention to Darksiders but discovered this game during a Steam sale. It got my attention because I really dig the stylized look and feel of it.
First of all, I want to heavily emphasize this: Play the game with a friend. The game functions as a single player experience but it is very much designed to be a co-op game. I started playing on my own, enjoyed it, then recruited and started again with a friend and the experience got way better. Not that the game is bad on your own, its just more fun played as intended.

Endgame: Road To Salvation
Two player local coop split screen gaming at its finest. Very scary atmosphere, while you are playing you have this feeling of constant urgency. Its much different than other survival horror games out there. It’s always getting updates, and the developer is very responsive. Which is very much appreciated by people like me who have massive graveyards of unfinished games. There is a lot to do in this game once you figure out how to set it up and what to do. There are different options in the menu to customize the game how you like it, which is a huge bonus if you decide to play it two player. Next time you plan a scary movie night with your girlfriend, grab two controllers and this game instead. It will definitely beat an overpriced amazon rental any day! Highly recommended.
