I really want to recommend it, but at the moment it’s unplayable unless you speak Chinese. Yes, it has subtitles but not enough, there are still entire segments that are in Chinese, as well as incorrect translations (IE: Characters naming you “Light” but then calling you “Wright”).
I’d strongly urge anyone who wants to play it to wait until it’s had more time to be developed and translated.

Armored Xpress
Armored Xpress is a new unique story-driven Match 3 game built with rich RPG elements.
Embark on an extraordinary journey with Armored Xpress Agent 117 and MECH as they set off to deliver a top priority package all while fighting dangerous pirate gangs hired by the villainous “Defiant BOB”, who by the way has put a bounty on the package. To traverse through Sector 2 a region on the planet Entriga, the Armored Xpress Company felt it necessary to implement a more protective measure. “MECH” an advanced military grade delivery robot which can be equipped with an array of weapons and items allowing agents to defend against hostile threats. While delivering packages you can choose to help the towns people through various side quests which can unlock special rewards.
In combat Armored Xpress MECH uses energy from supply crates that are matched during play to power its weapons and systems. Weapons are available to fire at specific power levels with a maximum of 4 levels. You can strategically fire each weapon at will or wait until they are at their maximum level. This strategy allows you to reserve a weapon or unleash all the weapons at once for a truly devastating attack. Each supply crate matched with its corresponding color in groups of 3 fills the matching weapons power gauge. Supply crates matched with more then 3 of the same color generates a special care package crate. When broken these crates drastically boosts the corresponding weapons power gauge. Items and other abilities are powered by MECH’s ability gauge/ABG system which fills over time. Sequential matches in a turn generates a combo which fills the ABG faster allowing you to use abilities sooner.

Stonefly
Bugs? Mechs? Hell. Yes.
Stonefly is a wonderful little game that gives a chill adventure and an experience that left me smiling with the evident charm throughout. Though it has it’s rough edges the developers at Flight School Studio clearly put a lot of heart into it, and I sincerely wish them the best with whatever they do going forward.
Visuals: Much like with their previous title; Creature In the Well, Stonefly has an incredibly unique artstyle that on top of being eye-candy really helps lend to the overall moods of environments you see throughout the game. Much of my time spent in Stonefly outside of the gameplay was just gliding around to take in the setting. Additionally, character designs (and mech designs) all have little quirks that create all sorts of charming little flares that I can’t help but smile at whenever I see. Color schemes as a whole are pleasant and nothing ever grates on the eyes. Even with the chaos that can happen with the amount of bugs you’ll sometimes fight on screen the visuals manage to not appear so overwhelming as to clutter the player.

Big feet can’t fit in shoes.
Stonefly is a rather short game. I made it 9 hours in, with about a half hour of time accumulated from time spent paused, but the game was running.
I have yet to complete it, but I’m VERY CLOSE to being done. I’ve got to unlock only two more parts, otherwise all the abilities are maxed out.
The enemies consist of a handful of body types, and a few variants there in either taking more hits (denoted as dots) and/or just in that they hit with a different type of damage. There is acid good, flame goo, and some kind of purple stuff. There are two main flying type enemies, spiders that can hit you mid air with a jump up then wide range sawblade spin, units that stay on the ground and fire very accurate shots, and ones that have more defense and lob big burst shots, and ones that just ram you.

Project MIKHAIL: A Muv-Luv War Story
At this point, this game needs A LOT of work in almost everything aside from the story and TSF (mecha) design.
-The controls on keyboard and mouse are substandard while playing on controller makes it just bearable.
-Combat mechanics needs a lot of work as actions tend to jam when you are inputting multiple buttons or even moving and shooting for that matter.
-Movement control is also inconsistent with input at times.
-Dual projectile weapon mode currently does not allow you to fire both weapons at once.

First time I saw any Muv-Luv related media was the anime Schwarzesmarken, and I didn’t learn of the name Muv-Luv until I watched Total Eclipse, both of them being spin-offs. They were all decent, but a friend of mine once gifted me the first Muv-Luv VN game, and since then I’ve been more hooked than ever.
I’ve been excited for Project MIKHAIL ever since it was announced, and despite some of the problems it has, which I will go into, I’m very happy that I bought this game, even in Early Access. Do note that so far I have only played with mouse and keyboard.

Xangel
As the largest economy of mankind, Naya launched the angel coming plan to transform human genes. The project failed. Naya was occupied by the crazy gene scientist Longli. As a former executive of Naya, grace began to fight crime. This work is a third person shooting game. The player plays the protagonist grace, sneaks into Naya and starts fighting. The attack method is a machine gun that can be fired repeatedly, Laser grenade, laser sword chopping, lightsaber sprint, players can complete their mission in a single line plot.
The Surge
This is an interesting one … a rollercoaster of emotions so far. When I started out I was amazed. I was aware I wouldn’t really like the environment much because the tech-production-warehouse setting has been dead to me since Doom (the original one, mind you ;-) Knowing that I came for the combat (and hopefully, the story). So I was surprised to see what effort went into building the levels. I still find the setting boring, but it has been created by a very competent team.
Difficulty level was fine for the first area. Entering the second area it started ramping up until I hit a brick wall somewhere in the middle of it. Coming up from a shortcut into an area covered in toxic waste with two leaping, sting-tailed robodogs and a guard was something I think I couldn’t handle, because I was dead so quickly without time to learn anything about the enemy. The other option was to slog through the initial path, wasting minutes and minutes to end up like 30 meters from that other point, but in a much better place (from a tactical point of view). Only to be killed 10 seconds later.

This game is goddamned excellent. Bosses are thrilling, but there are only five of them. Combat is tense and exciting throughout. Grinding, leveling and building are ingenious. And the story hit me with two themes surprisingly effectively.
The Bosses
There are only 5 bosses in this game. However, this game makes the absolute most of those 5 encounters. The first boss is your warm-up. It’s your introduction to the game. It punishes you if you’re bad, though. So, as a beginner, it feels good when you defeat it.

Level 20
You feel the inspiration in the classic platform. It is a challenge each level I recommend it if you like games like megaman and super meat boy.

Honkai Impact 3rd
TWO IMPORTANT THINGS I WISH I KNEW ABOUT AT THE START:
- On the home screen, there is a green button at the bottom called “Starter’s Event”. Clicking that will bring you to a hub that will lead you to your daily logins and objectives to complete. The most important tab is “Path to Greatness”. Completing objectives will lead to more pages of objective and by the end you will have a solid set of characters, weapons, stigmatas and resources. Pressing the yellow “Go!” buttons will bring you directly to the tab you need to complete said objectives. (it could be captain level locked, so just keep running story missions to get exp until it shows up).

A port of a mobile game, with all the jank that comes with it.
The level gating that you start coming across at around level 25 is a constant showstopper annoyance, stretching what would be an actually really good & reasonably length’d bayoneta style game into a weeks-long stretch between said cool content. The controls with the menu are also quite bad with a controler. I wouldn’t even deign to find out how it works with KB/M.
But ya know, I could deal with all that, if I could at least bring my existing lvl56 account into the steam version.
