DataJack

A sci-fi dive in the 90s, both for the game design + gameplay and for the dystopic cyberpunk concept style.

Gameplay per se is a bit wonky and you have to get used to the stealth mechanics, which are really retro-style by all means.

Still, the game is pretty enjoyable, the atmosphere is right and the lore is well thought out, which you can extrapolate by the mission briefing/debriefings and from the files you download from the terminals, giving the appropriate feeling and background, much alike to the first Deus Ex game.

You are a one man go in and solve the problem type of covert or overt operative whom corporations hire to do their dirty laundry. Covert if you move effortlessly like a ninja from shadow to shadow, crouch like a tiger, and jump like a spider waiting for the right moment to feed needles into the skull of your enemies. Or overt if you prefer the cacophony of machine guns and the smoke C4 makes when you are fed up with doors that don’t greet you with open sesame right at your arrival.

You can even hack systems, steal company data and make some side income by grabbing datacubes and other interesting things that come at your way. And since this is a Cyberpunk/Neuromancer inspired game presumably made by transhumanist wonks who enjoy running around with subdermal chips under their butt-cheeks, replacing limbs and adding subdermal armor and other kinds of protections are also available.

Tale of Ninja: Fall of the Miyoshi

I like that there is a ninja game and thank you for that whoever, I think the game would be a great one to this list:

1- cursor lock(this one is a must)

2- unique animations that make feel like a ninja. I don’t want to be rude, but right now a big proportion of the animations look like mobile to me.

3-controls:

1- full controller support.

2- free controls adjustments for keyboard&mouse and controller

some people are OK with the default controls and some are not I think this would satisfy all kinds of people

Assassin’s Creed® Origins

Assassin’s Creed® Origins

Simply put, AC Origins is a fantastic title that does an excellent job giving players an in-depth view into both Greco-Roman and Old to New Kingdom Egypt. The strength of the story line comes on the back of the great voice acting and story arc of the protagonist, Bayek of Siwa.

Exploring the ancient temples and pyramids across Egypt was an amazing adventure, and the new Discovery Tours feature is fantastic as you can now immerse yourself in a guide history tour of Ancient Egypt! No wonder university professors have been using it as a learning tool recently. With minimal bugs, great graphics, a solid story line with an amazing protagonist who rivals Ezio, AC Origins is a strong entry into the franchise.

I played this after AC Odyssey, expecting it to be a carbon copy in sepia tones and I gotta say it’s not. I despised AC Odyssey and while this game isn’t perfect either, it is a vast improvement (which is funny considering it was released first). The story is unique and tragic, and most importantly makes sense as an origin story for the creed.

Because there is no level scaling, you can finally feel like you’re making progress, while at the same time still requiring you to use a strategy. You can’t just hulk smash every enemy. Stealth matters here and there is no better feeling than taking out an entire stronghold without being detected. You are an assassin after all, which, yes, means you finally have a hidden blade again. Treasure it, keep it close, don’t let it drift away.

Born in 19th feb 1630, Shivaji maharaja dreamed about the ‘Swarajya’ - Kingdom of Marathas with the help of childhood buddies like Netaji Palkar, Yesaji kank, Bahirji naik, Tanaji malusare . Surrounded by Qutubshah in south, Adilshah in the east, Portugese at the west and Mughals in the north, It was very difficult for Shivaji to form his own empire as he has to fight wars every now and then against many enemies. His plan was to fight gorilla warfare with his opponents and for that forts played quite an important role. He started winning forts at the early age of 14 around Pune area.

But there was a time in 1665 when Mirza Raje Jay sigh came with hefty army of 80000 soldiers. Shivaji knew this was the time for truce as war strategy. He had to give up 23 of his forts to Mughals with 4 lack gold coins. Out of 23 forts few were very important for Maratha dynasty. One such fort was Kondhana near Pune.

Shivaji Maharaj deceived Aurangzeb and came back from Agra to Pune in 1666. He started winning back his forts one by one. Kondhana was one such strategically important fort. But it was very difficult to conquer. Out of many of his potential colleagues and soldiers there was Tanaji, he knew a lot about this fort.

In 1670 feb, Tanaji was planning Marriage of his Son, When Shivaji Maharaj called him and asked him to fight a battle against Mughal Subhedhar Udaybhan who was commanding the great Kondhana. Take on the role of a war veteran forced into becoming an executioner. Once you’ve served long enough, you’ll be set free and allowed to leave town. But no one told you when that will happen…

You never thought of pursuing torture as a valid career choice, but as they say: work is work. Besides, you know that in addition to forcing confessions, you’ll sometimes get more interesting contracts like staking the skull of a dead man accused of vampirism. And that’s definitely some variety.

Find out what it’s like to be an executioner who is open to bribes. Enemies of the hanged man will try to bribe you to use a short rope and prolong the victim’s suffocation. Or maybe the family of a woman condemned to death by crushing will want to ease her suffering for an appropriate fee. Will you accept or will you refuse?

Be indifferent to screams, pleas, begging and assurances of innocence. This isn’t kindergarten - it’s an old forge fashioned into a torture chamber. And here, you are the master. You rule and divide… mostly through dismemberment.

Carry out punishment, behead commoners and nobility alike. But remember! Each execution must be carried out to the letter, otherwise you face an angry crowd and dissatisfied authorities who may be out for your blood.

Hindsight 20/20 - Wrath of the Raakshasa

Hindsight 20/20 - Wrath of the Raakshasa

I’ve given Hindsight 20/20 several play throughs to try the different action, relationship choices, and endings that are available. The puzzles are intuitive and boss battles test you with the various combat techniques you have learned and mastered. I really like the character/creature/enemy designs. It’s a fun play that will have you wondering what other choices you could make.

This game is Stunning, Outstanding, and just overall fun. I do not want to ruin any spoilers, so I will keep it minimal. This games GRAPHICS remind of something like “The Walking Zombie”, cel shaded/ cartoonish look which I think are great. I have 20+ Hours so far and have beaten the game 3 times. Supposedly there is TEN different endings with FOUR that will not OVERLAP at all. The choices you make through out the game will have effects on your town, friends, and everything within the game. It can change the story/ gameplay for the better or worse, you will not know right away. You can play MERCIFUL way which you get a baton/ electric shock stick, which will remove the enemies weapons and armor and they will surrender. Which is very cool to see. Or you can go FULL on RUTHLESS with the SWORD that is given too you and kill your enemies, plus when you beat the final enemy in the room that you are in you will perform a awesome FINISHER attack. I think this game is kinda comparable to the old Zelda’s games top down/ 3rd person clear a room then proceed to the next the room, as well they added some nice puzzles not too difficult to complete. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR JUST GET THE GAME SUPPORT THE DEVS, I was told this was created by 4 people, but watching the Credits it seems like 4-12 people maybe? This game has a lot of potential. The only CON I have with it is that there is jump but there is a dash and everything controls wise seem to have a great purpose and feels really flawless.
