Played this game for the past year since OBT. The game is a diamond in the rough. Has a lot of potential but Webzen Korea ruined global version. They have full control over game. Webzen global who hosts it has no permissions to do anything (basically middle man) anything they need to fix they have to go through korea even for the smallest of changes which causes problems take forever to be fixed. As more and more time goes by more p2w stuff gets added to cash shop and gap just gets bigger between f2p and wallet warriors (few exceptions for f2p who put hours upon hours a day). If you want to stay competitive you will have to buy costume/wings which give additional stats that our only temporary. So you will keep having to buy them each month if your not lucky to get one of the unlimited costume/wings from their rng lootboxes. So on top of costume/wings/pets/premium being competitive wont be cheap. But really not a point anymore because playerbase has dropped so much over the past month because the way the company handles game. The biggest thing that ruined game for me is company doesn’t care about their playerbase whatsever. They make polls (most recent one being do you want XP pills in shop) community said no, then two days later they put them in shop. Not first time they completely disregard commmunity. But $$ is the only thing important to webzen to anyone that has been playing for awhile now can see it they are just milking their players till this game comes to an end. Its sad because their is a lot of hidden potential in game that can be improved upon, but thats not companys priority. A lot of people I played with are only still playing till next big game comes out and use this as a “placeholder.” I tried to stick with the game, but can’t do it anymore. Most of my friends quit for one of many reasons. So leaving this review in hopes that I can save someone from making the same mistake I did by giving them my money to support a game they don’t even care about.

So the game has mixed reviews. Everyone says “P2W” both in reviews and in-game. However at first glance I couldn’t see what all the fuss was about. Sure there were some convenient options and a small boost to stats. No biggie I thought. When you get to max level you start to realize how much you can buy your way into the game. How long and grindy everything is. You can basically spend the rest of your life in this game and never get the best gear. Personally I never liked the infinite grind concept.

BDSM: Big Drunk Satanic Massacre

BDSM: Big Drunk Satanic Massacre

This is an enjoyable shooter chock full of rudeness, lewdness and dudeness. Definitely not for all audiences.

We play as Lou, the son of Satan and join him on his quest to reclaim Hell from the hordes of humans who have come for all the debauched pleasures on offer. Mostly these pleasures are fast food and sex. In order to save Hell from the invaders, Lou takes an arsenal of weaponry and blasts everything that moves into little tiny human or demon chunks.

The most obvious talking point of the game is it’s 18 rated content. There is a bevy of booze, drugs, rock n' roll and sexual references that definitely aren’t for all ages. A downloadable content patch removes censorship, but if you are easily offended, the game is not designed for you anyway and really having censorship is a moot point. Playing as the son of Satan, we shouldn’t be expecting a saintly protagonist. You will be shooting loads, in more ways than one.

For many players, the genre “twin-stick shooter” is a synonym for difficult games that mix fast-paced, long-range attacks, close-range mobs, and giant bosses with tons of health. BDSM is definitely a twin-stick shooter, but I wouldn’t say that this game is difficult. That’s because there are plenty of ways to abuse the combat system, in addition to a special ability called rage; (filled by defeating foes), that gives invulnerability and a lethal laser that overkills ANY enemy! It fits the game’s lore, but it’s unfair to the mechanics of the genre. You’ll never need to worry about ammunition, either: Almost everything in the environment is destructible. And since there’s a default weapon with infinite ammo, you’re covered even if you run out.

DARK SOULS™: Prepare To Die™ Edition

Short version :

One of the best RPG games EVER made, that’s coming from a gamer who’s played over a hundred RPG titles in his life.

Dark Souls - 9.5/10

_Long Version :

Darks Souls….. so much to say about this game.

The game throws the player in a very difficult world, not just by gameplay standards, but plotwise as well. The story / lore is depicted in such a way that it’s never speaking to the player directly, but rather to your character, it never breaks the 4th wall by directly telling the player what to do and how to do it, only the basic attack move buttons are given to you at the beginning, and from then on, you’re completely on your own for the rest of the 50+ hour journey. Unless you get a co-op partner that is._

TLDR: Yes.

Dark Souls has issues.

While most entertainment experiences go out of their way to encourage your interest, it feigns indifference to your attention.

Introducing itself via bizarre and meaningless cut scenes you find your protagonist in a pretty dull dungeon. “Oh look, a man with a sword viewed from third person” you observe with a mounting sense of déjà vu. “No doubt I have a healing potion and a sense of manifest destiny somewhere in my bag too” and reach for the reset button/cyanide pill. But Dark Souls IS different - not that it is keen to show off. Like Usain Bolt winning the Dad’s race on sport day mumbling something about how he probably jumped the gun, Dark Souls’ initial coyness infuriates and astounds with equal measure.

UPDATE #3:

Finished my fourth (and final) playthrough in record time. It becomes incredibly easy to do once you know all the ins-and-outs of every mission and the best practices for home management. This Angelic run felt the most muddied as the game often demands some negative actions (offset by donating foods) before you can do the ultimate good, so it didn’t feel truly pure. There’s also a lack of punch in the actual conclusion. I very badly wanted to

! confront Mr. Delroy directly, but what I got was a little more hollow.

Played through this game and got one of the four endings. While the game can be entertaining at first, I really cannot recommend that you buy this game. There are multiple reasons for this. The first being the overall quality feeling of the game… The game feels like a half-assed itch.io game. I don’t know if the developers knew what they had in mind when they made the game, but the end product turned out to be a mess. The currency system feels unbalanced, the needs of your family are not difficult enough to make the game challenging, they only require you to do some really basic minigames over and over again to grind the stats, really distracting from the actual game, and very annoying. When I wasn’t trying to keep up with the family needs I just found myself running around the town looking for jobs to do. The jobs were always the same, “talk to this person, then talk to me” “Pick up thing from here and deliver it there”. No variety whatsoever. It just got really really boring.

The World is Your Weapon

The World is Your Weapon

Story & Dialogue

The story is fairly simple, since it’s mainly about a weapon merchant, Weaco, trying to find a legendary sword due to her love of weaponry. The closest thing it has to an aesop is the third ending, where Weaco has to consider what needs to be done in a peaceful world where the antagonist is defeated, which is something that not all stories address properly. The simplicity doesn’t hurt the game too much, since it seems to be mostly focused on humor and gameplay, though I wish there were more quests and lore associated with the bosses of the game.

I don’t normally enjoy games made from RPGMaker, but I enjoyed this one more than I could have expected. I ran into it randomly while browsing, watched the trailer, laughed, and bought it without hesitation. This game has made me laugh like an idiot many times, and it’s also a lot of fun.

I recommend you avoid reading other reviews so you don’t spoil some of the surprises, but let’s just say you can pick up anything…ANYTHING…and use it as a weapon. You can even huck it in your enemy’s face.

Family Man: Prologue

Family Man: Prologue

I’ve played through the Family Man Prologue three times

and I’m so impressed with it!

I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it because I’m not usually drawn to

games with this style of graphics but I have to say that I was pulled into

the world immediately.

In fact, the menu music was very evocative and set the right tone from the first second that I booted it up.

The soundtrack is one of the best features in the game. I really liked the guitar rock at the beginning! Then, what I found really effective, was the way that the musical changes enhanced the alternating settings and scenes.

I really don’t understand some of the negative reviews. I have an older computer with a processor from like 2012 and my budget graphics card. The game ran pretty smoothly in fullscreen and on the highest resolution. The graphics may be a turn off for some people, but not me personally. I’m not gonna lie, I’m very intrigued by this game. I immediately got sucked into the story and was genuinely sad when I had to stop playing. I went out with a punch to the guys face though. Wish-listing the full game and hope to support the devs with a purchase when I can afford it.
