Has-Been Heroes
This game is fun but not perfect. The game has 2 major flaws. First, the lack of infomration in the game. I’m sure someone will write a good faq soon that will cover the pages of missing information that should be in the game I’m not talking about damage formulas and such but basic mechnics like Candles. (I saw one reviewer say darkness was random it’s actually 100% non random and a good game mechanic that’s not explained at all). Also the discoverable section that shows what you the items and monsters you have seen is not too bad until you get to the monster section where no special unique abilities of the monsters are listed. Just basic stats. I feel like this was a major fail.

This a duo review of sorts as when I originally bought this game on release I ended up refunding it, I just couldn’t get into it. The games tutorial is pretty much non existent, lots of things are unexplained and many useful mechanics that can be used to make fights easier are not unlocked yet. It was very frustrating, I saw the potential which is why I bought it in the first place but at the same time it felt like a cobelled mess where I was at the mercy of the RNG spawns as to how much progress I made.

Lumencraft
Lumencraft is a top-down action shooter with tower defense elements. Emerge into a fully destructible environment where light and shadow play key roles. Build your base, dig some tunnels and find lumen - humanity’s only chance for survival.
KEY FEATURES
BECOME SAVIOUR OF MANKIND
The year 2221: More than two centuries ago, the surface of the planet became uninhabitable. The remnants of humanity struggle to survive without electricity and light. Dreams of a better future died long ago, but a recently discovered mineral has brought a spark of hope. Lumen, a crystal with high energy potency, may be the last chance for a struggling civilization. Scouts, brave miners, have been sent underground to a settlement near the Lumen deposits. New scouts continue to join this mission, but so far, no one has returned. It seems that the darkness of the underground holds more than just natural riches…
DRILL YOUR WAY TO VICTORY
Fight for your survival. Enemies are going to raid your base so be careful and leave some turrets on the watch.
-
Defending the underground settlement by direct combat and the use of diversified turrets.
-
Highly efficient and satisfying digging mechanics.
-
Explosive weapons. Yes, we have dynamite.
EXPLORE FULLY DESTRUCTIBLE ENVIRONMENT
With a lot of effort and a set of original algorithms, 2Dynamic Games have transformed the open-source Godot Engine into a completely new tool. This allows every bit of terrain (pixel, as we used to call them) to be destroyed, and maps can be painted as if in a drawing program. What’s more?
-
Dynamic lights and pixel-perfect interaction with the fully destructible terrain.
-
Dread atmosphere created through the impactful sound design and a unique 2Dynamic lighting system.
-
Realistic simulations. Just look at the lava!
AND MORE TO COME
Lumencraft will be in the Early Access stage, which means we will keep adding new features and polishing already implemented ideas. Stay tuned!

50 Waves Hero
I’m enjoying completing the achievements. Only downside are the bugs plaguing the game. At the end of each round endless clicking through each reward, after beating the game and starting a new round exiting the castle the world does not load, till you quit and re-load the game and finally, knockback late game (Wave 50 boss) caused me to clip through the enemy portal, and get stuck inside, unable to come out and ofc lose…
Game has a lot of potential, it’s fast paced, extremely fun solving all the puzzles while protecting the castle. Maybe some more randomized events could be fun.

The game is way too short.
I beat it within 1 hour.
You lose a lot of time because of the item-unlock spam you have to go through every time you die and restart, which seems like a bug. It just shows you all ‘new’ unlocked items after you die, but also repeats this for every item you already unlocked.
The game is cute and it makes fun for a while, but I think I wouldn’t have touched it anymore after that one hour I played it. So yeah, you should decide if this is what you want to spent your money on.

CRYPTARK
Review written for update 0.25
Fun little space mech shooter Where you fly in to disable old alien ship security systems so that big companies can salvage the derelicts for valuable parts and materials. Each mission will have you running against the clock and your ammo count as you tally every second wasted and each piece of hardware you carry against the mission payout. You need to be quick, careful, and keep moving.
Some of the following points are objective fact, some are just my opinions.

Target Audience: Roguelike fans who want a strategy focus
Summary:
It’s a game that I recommended while it was in early access due to its polish, and the full release doesn’t disappoint in this element. A well designed roguelike with challenging elements in its top down shooting from a strategy perspective, you have a variety of ACTUALLY DIFFERENT FEELING WEAPONS that are at your disposal that are fun and relatively easy to use. The developers understood each of the systems they put in place here, and not only implemented them rather well: but did it in a way where they all work together in harmony. That’s a sign of a well thought out and executed plan: when each element complements the next. The weapon choices are better against certain enemies, certain objectives are easier with certain layouts, and if you don’t play to your situation: you’re going to get your butt handed to you. Everything gameplay wise feels like it was gone over with a fine tooth comb balance wise, so that it’d give the challenge that would take a while to overcome, and just hitting that frustration factor without going over the top.

Ignited Steel: Mecha TBT
Aiming to fulfill its expansion instinct, humanity created an A.I. which controls and manages all necessary resources to expand the human race throughout the galaxy. Soon, a fatal flaw in the A.I. “PharOS” code was discovered: it could not and would not stop expanding.
With the hope to halt PharOS’ expansion, the human race depends on “The Ignited Steel” program, a plan reliant on outdated technology which PharOS cannot control.
Old Mechs from past wars are now humanity’s only hope.
Attacking and moving mechs requires energy and can overheat the mech. If overheated, mechs output more damage while being more vulnerable to enemy attacks.
A key element to gameplay is finding the perfect balance between damage and vulnerability.
Pilots from every corner of the universe volunteer to the Ignited Steel program, each bringing their unique personalities and tactics.
As the Ignited Steel program regains control of the galaxy, new pilots will join the cause against PharaOS.
There’re 3 types of mechs: Juggernaut, Stalker and Javelin, each with their own advantages and counterplay.
Mechs are built using unique modules each with their own purpose. As the Ignited Steel program liberates the galaxy, they will earn and purchase new modules with unique traits.
The galaxy is full of contrasting planets and stories to be told. By jumping from node to node the ignited steel program will discover the galaxy’s stories, and add new modules and pilots to the crew. New planets, pilots, modules, events and missions in every playthrough!
Winged Sakura: Endless Dream
Winged Sakura: Endless Dream is a quite interesting mix of roguelite exploration and tower defense. It can be quite fun and addicting if you are a fan of roguelite games, but there are a few key things you should consider before buying it.
Your goal is to get through the Endless Dream by escorting your partner Mimi to the end of each of 10 levels. You do this by opening doors in a randomly-generated dungeon layout, building towers as needed to help you defeat the onslaught of enemies with every door you open, contracting Sakuras (which provide passive bonuses to your character) for that run, as well as new towers and boosters with Polygons, the game’s currency. Between your runs and through story scenes you earn Unsealing Petals which are used to buy new Sakuras to appear in future runs, which can be leveled up. The map layout, and by extention the exit, is hidden until you start unlocking doors, so for each floor you start off blind. Once you’re ready to escape the floor, you need to guide Mimi and not allow her or yourself to be defeated by the enemies. Hopefully you used those Pink Polygons to clear a safe path for her, as those are limited, so you must plan ahead as you go through each floor.

I have played 8 hours and it felt like 2 hours.
The game is really addictive and fun. It feels simple at first, but in fact its REALLY deep. Its like chess, its very easy to learn how to play but its difficult to master. Also there is a luck factor involved, so you got to adjust to the situation even though it may not fit your playing style.
All in this game feels just about right, natural. I believe that I live in this world. Again its like on a chess board. There is nothing to add and nothing to take away. Those are just my feelings to describe how i like the game.

10 Miles To Safety
It’s fun, for a few hours.
I will be 100 percent honest, this game is about as repetitive as games can get.
i wanted to like it, but after say hour 3 i realized nothing in the gameplay changes. yes you get newer guns but due to difficulty scaling of zombies you basically need the upgrades, it never comes down to your preference on say a favorite gun. you are forced to “upgrade” or get slapped by zombies as your old guns suddenly become bb guns. this game should not have a “damage numbers” type of style. that belongs in an mmo. this is not an mmo.

I would give it a ‘neutral’ if I could. Generally a fun and simple game (maybe a bit too simple?), but has quite a few bugs. They are not game breaking, but they can make the gameplay more difficult and frustrating. Still, it is an early access game, so I can only hope that these bugs will be removed in the future and I will be able to recommend this game 100%.
These are my impressions after a relatively short playthrough, but will update it accordingly.
First the good:
- the game is definitely enjoyable

Gang of Paws
Fun game!!! Hard, but very fitting for a roguelike. Quite unique battle system and CRAZY cute animals (obviously the development team of this game has a great sense of humour). There is a lot of content and different ways to build up your character with different spells and power-ups. A sort of strategy and action game combo!
