Fictorum
Note: I backed the game on Kickstarter, thus having played since the game’s alpha.
Fictorum is, in a word, wonderful. For me, it was the first experience I ever had with magic that actually feels really powerful. Magic that I can throw at a nearby house and watch it get blown to bits. But let’s start from the beginning.
In this game, you are a mage. The last mage of your order, the Fictorum. And you’re pretty mad at the ones responsible for the death of your order, and also pretty powerful. Logical conclusion, annihilate them all. And anyone that might be foolish enough to stand in your way. Or… just annihilate absolutely everything. You can, believe me.

First off, if you want a high production value game with a long indepth story, I would recommend Skyrim or The Witcher. That being said, this game has the best magic based combat I have ever seen.
Spellcasting:
Spells are customizable and modular. You have a spell tome that casts a type of spell and you have runes that you can add to the spell to vastly alter the spell’s properties. These runes can do anything from simply increasing the power of the spell to creating a familiar that casts the spell for you. For example, you can take a spell that calls one lightning ball and change it into a spell that fires 4 lightning balls that each seek out enemies while firing their own lightning bolts. You can also find or buy scrolls. Scrolls act as support spells that cannot be modified but can be applied to armor and accessories. By the way, all buildings are completely destructable and can be used to crush enemies.

Furcifer’s Fungeon
The underworld has a bad name. But it does not need to be that way! Who said eternal suffering can’t be fun?
Enjoy your time in the purgatory, in FURICFER’S FUNGEON. Instead of endless pain…
Dangererous danger zones mean danger. They look innocent and colorful, but they still hurt. Trust me, I tried.
Outmove cute badguys.
Cause destruction with your unique spells.
Cause even more destruction by combining them!
Dash out of danger.
Dash into danger.
Refresh your dash by finishing enemies.
??? Profit!

Nigate Tale
I absolutely love the game
I have been playing it since it was in test version and have seen the growth and changes of the game over the time. My current playtime on record is far below the actuall one since i played it a lot offline aswell as on the test version which isnt included in the record and should be overall 80 hours of playtime at the point of writing the review.
So lets start by who would like the game?
If you like roguelike games, anime monster waifus, slashing enemys and fighting bosses, a game with a great learning curve (its likely the first runs gona feel unfair), anime art style, if you like or dont mind playing early acces games , games with devs showing interest and passion for the game,

Pretty fun game that has different ways to play the game by using different magic abilities and such. I do wish that the environments were more open and fix some of the animation for different models like the axe throwing one, who does a little T-pose once he throws it. Other than that I’m enjoying it.

Wizard of Legend
I like this game a lot!
I’ve always been very intrigued by games with wizards, magic, and lots of fun spells, and many games contain things like that, but lately I haven’t been much interested with many games, and feel bored while playing them.
This combines my love for spells and fun magic with fast-paced, hard dungeon crawler, and it’s extremely fun to play!
One of my favorite parts of the game is to save up for an arcana, (the game’s name for spells) then test out it’s effectiveness, special effects, best way of using it, etc. in a dungeon!

A lot of fun for the price, wish it had offline single player though.

Desert Magic Adventures
Lucky me wins the dubious honour of writing the first review for Desert Magic Adventures, an asset flip from cash grab copy + paste artists, wow wow Games.
Desert Magic Adventures is another GameMaker Studio asset flip from serial copy+paste infringers, wow wow Games. All these guys do is rip off game templates and projects from the Yoyogames/GameMaker Studio store, change the name and a few cosmetic details, and try to scam people into paying for someone else’s work on Steam. They have run asset flip scams dozens of times, and this is no exception. It’s nothing but a cash grab.

Dredgers
This is tough, because I love this game and it’s concept. It’s so fun! I have a lot of praise for it.
Unfortunately, I feel like I can’t recommend it at this time for two reasons:
-
Missing basics like any type of saving, which pretty much everything I’ve played since the days of shareware has had, seems quite sloppy. The display of the amount of hours I’ve played isn’t really correct: most of that has been on pause because I didn’t want to exit and lose all my progress on the run.
-
Do you know how my last run ended? No? Neither do I. Based on all the information I had, it didn’t make sense. Many key things are just not explained, so new players are going to go through several baptisms by fire, creating a lot of frustration.

Pretty solid roguelike with emphasis on speedy playthroughs and choosing your next step, though that can be its weakness too. Its big selling points are the 30+ races and crazy class combinations which are very very satisfying to play with, as well as actual honest-to-god necromancy where you can have a zombie horde if you want. Or you could skip zombies altogether, dominate the minds of your enemies, send them at your foes, blow up their (animate or inanimate) corpses into a huge mess when they die and then revive them and your former foes as skeletons. Full crafter build is viable, and thats before we get onto races. Pretty much anything that spawns in the dungeon is something you can unlock and play pretty quickly. Only exception afaik is the slime MAN (you can be a regular slime) but I suspect that’ll be implemented in time.

Arkane Rush
Really fun game, it’s not easy though. The gameplay matches perfectly with the essence of the game, if you want to succeed you gotta rush. You need to run, you have to dodge enemies and kill them at the same time. Nice graphics and music, they bring a cute and indie vibe to the game, what makes it fun, enjoyable and beautiful, besides being challenging. Really well-made game. Great job!

This is a great challenging game for the price!
The game doesn’t tell you much from the beginning, but soon you find out your way through the islands. The controls and objectives are intuitive and, if you have a reasonable skill at positioning yourself and firing at the same time, you should have no problem to beat the first level. THEN things start to get tricky and you will need discover how to combo the staffs to get through the following levels.
This is a hard game that I haven’t yet beaten, but the feeling that you are getting better and going farther into the game is just addictive. And for the price, I definitively recommend it!
