To the Core
I think it’s high time I write a review for this game. After ten hours of grinding and figuring this game out I can say something good.
Alright, I’ma start by saying that this game isn’t perfect, in fact, it is flawed in many ways and many places. (Still mad at taking damage at weird times) But here’s the thing, the game is fun, and it is a speed game. Let’s get into it.
The movement - The movement is floaty, it’s like ice skates, and like others have said is not tight. However, what you need to figure out is how to use momentum. The way this game works as a speed game is through the use of momentum in movement and not just running along the ground. After getting used to how the characters momentum works, the controls can actually become pretty tight. Trust me, hours were spent figuring out the best way to move and I for one am a fan of the movement in this game. Will it appeal to everyone, no. That’s obvious from the few videos I’ve seen and the reviews. But give it a go, and work with the movement.

Tentatively.
It’s fun, you play as Doomfist but as a little girl trying to find her dad or something. You get random upgrades halfway through the level but can go back to get the upgrade points you missed.
You can take like 5 hits, there’s a single health restore point that restores a single pip in each level.
The platforming is harder than the combat, the platforming controls also suck. The timing on jumping through lasers is “jump right before they turn off or jump into it and land in a pit of lava.” No checkpoints, doesn’t make it harder, just kind of annoying.

Abalyte
This is a wonderful game, its small but tough.
Info I have discovered via playing, beyond this point.
If you don’t mind game overs, a terrific amount of game overs, then its the right game for you. You can get pretty far, and have great runs at the Three collection levels and Three boss levels (1). There are a great many weapons to discover (2) as you battle vicious creatures (3).
(1) (a) SlimeBall (HP 50) ; It releases hordes of Slimes and punches you for a cross map knock-back and deals 5 damage.

EDIT:
The devs seem to be listening to the community really well. Lots of improvements have happend, the sarcastic remarks are gone, the tree is possible and theres some actual progression to look forward to and plenty in game where you can see that effort is being made.
This game went from a disaster with no real direction to a playable and enjoyable experience
For a free game id give it 7/10 now. Once we see more levels in play, more weapons to choose from, more stats or even spells i think this’ll be a decent semi-rouge like. Id like to see more chances for healing, more combat than just watch the enemies drop and fight carefully. The bigger maps before were nice, but i think a healthy medium would be perfect.

Realm of the Mad God Exalt
I’ve been playing this game since it was on browser back in 2011, so I’d like to think I have some experience or at least enough time put in to give my opinion on the game, so here it is:
The game has come a long way, and I still remember having the time of my life back then - dying and learning from my mistakes, getting excited from T5 items, and being proud of myself for soloing snake pits. It was a simple time, but time moves on and to live in the past and say it was a better time is just false. A lot has changed from then, and most of it was for the better. Exalt is the most recent example of the game forever changing for the better, but I still have a few problems with the game. First, I feel the game is just one big grind. Don’t get me wrong though, I think the nature of white bags and the idea of perma-death is the games biggest strength, but I also feel the sense of teamwork and coordination is long gone. So many times do I see a server full/crowded, but the realms themselves are empty. Where are the people you ask? Sitting in nexus waiting for someone to throw money at the screen so they can pop a dungeon, just for everyone to sit in spawn room waiting for one person to rush to boss so that it can be steamrolled and the process can repeat. I have had multiple friends try the game out, and almost all of them have lost interest fairly quick, but my most recent friend said something that stayed with me when I asked for his opinion. He said that the game wasn’t bad, but it felt very brain-dead not giving him an objective other than shoot monster. This leads into my next point: The game is horrible for new players. The tutorial has be revised, but I feel it doesn’t do enough to give new players direction. Sure, you could say that the fun of the game is finding out for yourself, but after he asked when he should move on to the next area it was clear the game didn’t really set a scene for him. All he know at that point was he was a guy who shoots enemies to gain XP, and possible loot. He didn’t know where to go or how things worked, which is fine until I asked him if he was having fun and responded with: I wish there was more progression than kill enemies and move onto next area. Things just became more clear that he was lost when i had to explain to him how to teleport, something I dont believe the tutorial tells you about. Just like every other new player, he was also greeted with spam in the nexus about external websites and instant 8/8, which he didnt even know what the concept of potion maxing was at the time, because once again it isnt mentioned in the tutorial. Finally, my biggest problem with the game: pets. I was very excited when I found out pets were finally going to do something other than follow you around and look cute, and im not going to lie I was a huge fan when they first introduced pet abilities. This was, however, very shorted lived when I found out the grind nature of pets. First, you have to randomly be dropped an egg, use the egg in the pet yard, and hope it has heal and magic heal - the only 2 abilities that matter other than electric. That find an dandy until you realize you have to use fame to feed the pet, then you have yo use fame to upgrade the yard in order to further feed it, and then use fame to fuse the pet. But heres the catch: if you don’t feed the pet fully, or fuse properly you could screw up and get something useless to you. Pets are such a big part of the game, so big that there is literally a status effect that disables your pet. So the fact that they are locked behind so much grind (or a pay wall), baffles me. Gone are the days of being able to play realm without a pet, and if you do play without a pet you have to be in a big group to compensate for your lack of heal and magic heal. I don’t wish for the removal of pets, they are way to integrated into the game for removal. I do think they should be either nerfed, or easier to obtain. My big complaint with the game is that we focus so hard on end game stuff that the beginner stuff is lost. Maybe allow new players to start off with a half maxed common pet with heal and magic heal, or make it so players have to rely on team work over a Divine pet.

Ok after 10 years and thousands of hours of playing (imagine think i only played 2k hours), I would not recommend this pile of sh*t to anyone in its current state (which persist since years).
At this point i just want to quote an user of the rotmg-reddit since this is exactly my point of view and i would def write the exact same.

“I feel like noone really cares enough or talks about the actual state of rotmg game health in 2021. Sure you see people complain, but as players there’s so many unacceptable things which we just tolerate and let Deca get away with instead of pushing for them to fix it.

OKAY, the replay value of this game is pretty outstanding! Honestly, there isn’t much out there in terms of DAILY gameplay changes, and I am in love with the “king of the hill” sort of way you are able to CLAIM the Divine pasture and show off your build to friends as they try to take you down!
Honestly, I can see a negative review with only 8 minutes of playtime. They certainly didn’t give the game a shot or comprehend the games core mechanic, challenging friends! Too play this game for 8 minutes then write a 4 paragraph review is just unethical and wrong.

this game is the best thing to happen to me. it incorporates the difficulties we face in our daily lives, like the boss spamming fiery death 4 times in a row. it teaches us a valuable lesson in sacrifice and brotherhood. the game itself is poorly made, but that doesnot stop the mastermind behind it to convey a gruesome and unforgiving world he definetitely had in mind. in conclusion 10/10 basically dark souls.

Pixel Ninja
A pretty fun little game where you take on a rampaging gang of thugs, ghosts and other unsavory folk. Very fun for such a simple title.

Power of Ten - Demo
An amazing game, you wouldn’t be able to tell that it was a demo! A handful of different ships you gradually discover through the game, an wide array of weapons/abilities/traits to select from. Beautiful pixelated action with diverse enemy encounters and battle settings. A promising show for the to-be-released version, definitely put this on your wishlist.

A great top-down space action game. Fly your space ship, dodge shots, and blow up baddies. It’s not a bullet hell game - it’s a race to mine for resources, achieve objectives, and put out fires as baddies attack inhabited planets. I’m a veteran of such games and found this one a fun challenge.

Synthbiotic Dungeon
I really like the idea of isometric dungeon crawlers. The person placing the traps and possessing the enemies is also great, however even with this patch some enemies still feel very weak or very slow. A single player can easily out weave around them all. On Aegis map, enemies can spawn hidden behind a wall which makes picking them difficult as you still can’t switch between them while in control.
Also while I had no troubles making a lobby as the defence, for some reason why I see a lobby to join as a runner, it boots me back to the menu.

Dude, this game is REALLY solid and polished. The multiplayer aspect and how the game functions is a joy. It has all the fun of a tower defense AND the asymmetric aspect is really a unique combo. I could see this game becoming a THING with more development.

Circle Tank
cons:
difficult controls. (you can only turn in one direction and the same button shoots the tank at the same time.)
game becomes unintresting after a few minutes.

I’m mainly recommending this cause I know there’s a type of player that loves this genre and likes insane difficulty and this is a good game for those players, I AM NOT one of those players. I had to lower the difficulty to 2 stars your character has the second biggest hit box in the game following boxes that noggin is massive. Maneuverability is low you can jump shots but you move almost no where during the jump so if the enemy shoots 2 projectiles you’re probably getting dunked on. Your attack doesn’t upgrade even though you get a special move so the enemies have a better attack in my opinion cause it has a larger radius than your full screen attack and goes full screen you have a larger radius attack, but it’s a half screen attack and your hit box is bigger so get got. There’s no score on screen so who knows what determines what got me a D rank, but at least I was able to beat it on the not easiest difficulty. I like the visuals and the sprites and the music is nice but this game is not for casual players of this genre IMO.
