Curse of the Dead Gods
For the people coming from hades i recommend to temper your expectations. I just completed the game 100% and that took 32 hours in the game file. This is alot less than hades, but this flaw is only for completionists. Not every game must have over houndreds of hours of playtime. Curse of the Dead Gods is fine alternative to hades. You need to be more precise with dodges and parries. You cant just button mash like hades, but when u memorise all different attack patterns it becomes second nature looking out at different enemies and waiting to weave a parry in your attack combo.

Most comparable to Hades, but with more planning and knowledge involved with how you approach enemies as opposed to high-octane energy simulation. Personally, I enjoy Curse of the Dead Gods more, but both are good games with similar control schemes.
Both are rogue-lites, but whereas Hades as more direct upgrades to Zagreus, Curse of the Dead Gods lets you better control your run (IE: More rerolls, starting equipment selection).
For more specific details, it’s a top-down action rogue-lite, where your objective is to clear temples, with their own enemies, champions (2 per temple, minibosses), and the avatar. Later, you unlock the final temple, which mixes them together for you to test your knowledge and intuition in a way that’s incredibly satisfying. Your expectations of how you handle a situation are consistently challenged by what truly plays out, and your skill progression is especially apparent during these events.

Heart in the Dark
The story accompanies the alchemist and magician Leonidon on a journey through time.
During a magical ritual a dimensional gate accidentally opens and Leonidon is dragged into the portal and lands in a distant future where machines dominate.
There is a millennia-old conflict in which the machines try to change the planet to optimal conditions, but nature has its ways to defend itself, unfortunately the machines are slowly gaining the upper hand. But when Leonidon appeared in this dimension, he had to realize that he was the last man of flesh and blood. Then he decided to use the last reagents that had been drawn into this dimension to create a sword in a magical ritual that was powerful enough to free the souls trapped in the machines.

Pretty fun game that has different ways to play the game by using different magic abilities and such. I do wish that the environments were more open and fix some of the animation for different models like the axe throwing one, who does a little T-pose once he throws it. Other than that I’m enjoying it.

Crypt of the Serpent King
I must say never in all my years as a gamer have I experienced a game quite like this. I originally saw the comedic goblin character and decided I would like to combat the green fella. So I purchased this game and BOY HOWDY did I underestimate what I was getting into.
This level of the game has your character (who I shall refer to as Grub for the remainder of this review) wandering a labyrinth full of rat-kin. And when you first meet these things. OMG you are not prepared. They swing quickly at you with their pics and on your first few attempts; you will perish, and you will suffer. For you see this game is difficult, as Grub will quickly die to just about anything that tries to touch him so I must say before you read any further that this game is NOT for the faint of heart.

Preface:
I accidentally ended up on this game’s page while searching for something else. I believe it was a misclick after an error in typing. There were a lot of mistakes involved that allowed me to find this game.
When the video autoplayed on the landing page, I was intrigued by the way the game looks. Mind you, while the game looks very simple, that’s what I liked about it. At a price point of $2, you can’t ask for much.
At first glance this game looked like a walking simulator with combat sort of… jammed into it. But it reminded me of a simpler time when everyone was using dial-up connections to American Online using Compaq computers and pc games looked pretty much like this but in much less fps. When I was younger, if I saw this, I’d be dying to play it because at the time, I didn’t have my own computer. I would only get such chances at school or at a friends house.

Oh, Dungeon Master
This might be the worst game I have purchased or played. I play quite a few bad games, this one is exceptional in this regard, Your level and inventory resets every time you enter a dungeon. Four of the achievements might be impossible to get because of it.
Beyond that it is pretty awful across the board. Do not recommend,

First off I hope you like subpar minecraft graphical style as that is what this is. No instructions no options screen to go into to find out what keys actually do anything. The object of the game is to go around and collect posters of scantily clad women. there are 25 different pictures you will need to collect every different one to get all of the achievements. in my two hours of play I managed to figure out how to get 25 total pictures not all different because they randomly generate when you die. so you must die or go into a cave to get the posters to regenerate to hope to get your 25. The problem comes in is when you go into a cave you loose your inventory completely and your stats that you have upgraded are lost and you are back to a basic character again. I managed to make it without any weapons to find a couple of posters in the caves. I do not know if you must go into the caves to get specific posters. However when I got my 25 I went back to the first cave where it tells you to collect 25 and bring them back when I did I saw them all go into the slot then 9 enemies spawn that you have nothing to fight them with and nothing to protect yourself so all you can do is run and leave the cave which puts you outside with nothing.
