CYBERUSH
I’m not quite sure what to say about ‘CYBERUSH’, it’s a manga style shooter that is very light on just about everything. You get to pick a choice of 3 weapons which are sword, gun and shotgun and you kill enemies with them then goto the lift up to the next level which seems to be a constant rotation of about 5 office style layouts. From its annoying music to the basic graphics this game is as low quality as they come, but the biggest issue is that it doesn’t really have playability to back it up. Even the money I collected in the game seemed to be for nothing. This is certainly not something I would recommend for £7.19, but if some issues get fixed it might be worth a quid or two. https://youtu.be/httvkuexin4

Accel Magician Mimi
If you look at the rest of the developer’s games, it appears they either used a kit and reskinned it, or made one game and reskinned it, multiple times. Keep this and the fact I’m basing my recommendation on the sale price I obtained it at (59 cents).
Game only consists of 3 stages and bosses, which can easily be completed in under an hour. However, there is 2 player battle mode and co-op, adding to the replayability. Controls are responsive. No optimization issues noted. Difficulty progression is smooth and different enemies have varied enough attack patterns to keep the game interesting.

Scrap Seas
Scrap Seas is a Vehicle 3rd-Person Shooter Action Rogue-Like. Build your ship and fill it to the brim with every kind of weaponry you can find. Then take it out into the ocean to take part in fast-paced generated sea battles against your Robot Overlords.
FIGHT!
Use your fire power and maneuvering skills to sink ships, robots, and other stuff. Destroy your enemies, and save those you care about. Use your boosters to ram into enemy ships head on or to flee like a coward. Just make sure you don’t DIE, because if you DIE you’ll die forever, and it’s pretty easy to DIE.
BUILD YOUR SHIP
Start with a boat and fight your way to an AWESOME BOAT! Take that boat and fill it with every kind of cannon, laser beam, and whatever the hell else you can find. You can also collect comic book panels which can provide a variety of buffs to your ship. Ah, and don’t forget about melee weapons. Every boat worth piloting needs some buzz saws, or at least some electrified spikes.
PLOT YOUR COURSE
Navigate your way around a generated map. Ensure that you have enough supplies for your journey. Choose your battles wisely…or unwisely, I don’t care. I’m not your dad.
USE YOUR WORDS!
Are you a hero or a coward? An idealist or a pragmatist? A lover or a fighter? Express your character through Scrap Seas comic book panel encounters.

-
Challenging and fair runs
-
Fantastic art direction
❌The Bad❌
- Enemy awareness can be wonky at times

This is both a review and a word of advice to players before they begin, regarding how to play it.
Advice:
Play the game on Hard or Hard Bastard difficulty, not Normal difficulty.
Explanation and review:
I was this close to writing a negative review of Void Bastards, after finishing it on Normal difficulty. I enjoyed it, but the amount of content was mismatched with the price, and I’d purchased it - despite reading other reviews to that effect - hoping the game would continue to be expanded.

A PAINTING FOR CRAZINESS
The Surrealist Artist Ardois-Bonnot presented his painting called Dream Landscape in the Paris Spring Salon of 1926. The moment the painting was uncovered, it caused a sudden riot among the public, and people screamed and ran all over the place. Soon after the exhibition, Ardois-Bonnot fell into a strange deep sleep from which no one could wake him up. Rumors abound that shortly before this attack of ‘sleeping sickness’, he was at the verge of completion of his greatest masterpiece which would change the world.

Nazi Labs
I mean its an alright game when it’s on sale anyway but the main reason I got it is because I wanted to collect the trading cards to make the badges that this game had. The game itself does in fact keep me entertained though I really wish it still had its badges…
Sorry although the game itself is alright I’m really upset that it doesn’t have its badges anymore…
-Maybe bring the badges back for this game??

You occasionally get lots of drops on the first few stages which really helps and got me to the end. This is a pretty basic game but it has a bad b movie charm about it, enough to keep me entertained.

Space Raiders in Space
-POST EARLY-ACCESS UPDATE-
Space Raiders in Space is finally out of early access and now has a dedicated story campaign to round out its gameplay modes. It remains a squad-based wave defense game with minor base and resource management aspects in all modes, so the main question at this point is whether the nine-ish chapter story campaign lives up to the promise of the formula? I’d say yes, which is likely apparent given that I’m still recommending the game. The cutscene narration and images are comicy, but then it’s a comic-based game in the first place, and so adds to the feeling of authenticity. It would have been nice to have additional choice elements in the story or perhaps a branching narrative, but this is Nick and Loren’s first time out as such and so I’m not going hold them to a higher standard than needed. As of this writing Cyberpunk 2077 just dropped so nobody’s going to be reading this review or really playing much else for at least a week, but when everyone gets back from Night City, they might enjoy the comic action of Space Raiders in Space to help wash off all the grittiness.

Space Raiders in Space! is an endearingly witty and charming affair from the very moment the game loads. From the snarky dev logos to the campy, over the top and gritty sci fi, this game oozes with personality. It features an unusual take on the first encounter with aliens, subverting many of the standard tropes while simultaneously roping many of those same tropes back in to serve a sinister narrative that overlays a unique style of tower defense game fused with auto battler. The game loop of gather resources, construct defenses, and fight off enemies is compelling, while the comic book motif and random chatter among the survivors remains engaging throughout.
