Endless Crawler
I enjoyed playing this game. But after 5 minutes it got monotonous. The 20 minutes that I played this game were well spend.
Great job and good luck with your future productions.

Endless Crawler is another GameMaker Studio asset flip from serial copy+paste infringers, SosiskaGames. All these guys do is rip off game templates and projects from the Yoyogames/GameMaker Studio store, change the name and a few cosmetic details, and try to scam people into paying for someone else’s work on Steam. They have run asset flip scams several times, and this is no exception. It’s nothing but a cash grab.
This time they’ve ripped off a basic template for a 2D retro pixel top down shooter with a dungeon crawler theme. Asset flips and other “Fake games” (as Valve calls them) are harmful to the industry, because they pollute the marketplace and reduce the visibility and exposure needed by genuine indie developers.

Evil Heart Fever
Bear with me, this is my first long review. Overall I’m recommending this game, as it was decently entertaining and it’s only 1$ (and I got it on sale 40% off).
The gameplay is solid enough, basic twin-stick style shooting to take down waves of enemies coming at you from the sides of the screen. Your character shoots at crosshairs where your mouse is located, and can do a quick dash every 2-3 seconds depending on your stats until it reaches the crosshairs. The progression is fairly solid, staying relatively challenging without any real difficulty spikes aside from possibly the bosses, who are chosen at random; some bosses are pretty easy to downright unthreatening, while others can be incredibly difficult to deal with while still fighting the swarms of basic enemies. These bosses show up every so often (with health scaled to your level), and regular enemies stay spawning during your fight with them at no slowdown. You can even end up with multiple boss angels simultaneously if you don’t kill each one fast enough. As you kill angels you gain levels and earn perks, a choice of 1 from a random 3 possibilities, thus allowing you to get stronger to face the tougher stock enemies the game will flood you with. You can even get one of five special transformations, each with their own unique perk, by acquiring three specific perks related to the transformation. Pretty simple, but a decent enough gameplay loop for a dollar.

A really fun multidirectional-shooter-roguelike mashup thing, amazing product for a dollar. It’s theme feels nice and cohesive, between it’s mix of Lovecraftian and religious items, enemies, and the player itself if a nice touch, and works well. The game looks alright, nothing amazing, but it does the job and doesn’t hurt to look at. There are only a few flaws with the game, such as what I assume are bosses being really fucking hard to kill, meaning you need to get lucky and be beefed up or have a synergy by the time one comes. There’s also the kinda of small library of upgrade items, which is about 35-40, and while that isn’t too small of an amount, some more items would be pretty dope.

Glitchangels
Fantastic old school twin sticker. Quick to pick up and a ton of fun to watch those meters go up.

This is probably my new favorite game, and I’ve played a lot of titles in the “twin stick action” genre. The style and visuals are great, hitboxes are where they should be, and the difficulty scaling is appropriate, although I can see the first few levels being really annoying; I hope there’s a Glitch to skip the first 10 levels or increase difficulty from the start. The beginning ramp-up in these games is what gets me and others to lose interest.

GROUND-UNBOUND
The game is absolutely fantastic. Yes there is room for improvement but the game is in development and so far for it being on patch 1.1, I believe this can be one of the best rogue-likes in history. With a mixture of the beautiful art style and the thrilling combat, this can easily be a contestant with other great rogue-like games such as EtG or TBOI.
Just be sure to work hard dev/devs!!

For the second time, frinky hit it out of the park. This game starts off slow but it gradually becomes fast and chaotic. Its name will make sense if you upgrade your jump enough times. When you get high level enough, the enemies can’t even touch you. Best rougelike that isn’t Hades. Would almost definitely recomend.

Headbangers in Holiday Hell
Headbangers in Holiday Hell is your personal christmas elves h0locaust.
A place where you can show your christmas appreciation with bullets: 1 bullet = 1 appreciation.
Let me tell you a story. My 2 years old son loves christmas elves because every morning he finds a candy in the christmas sock.
“My dear child”, I’d love to say - “That’s not elves, It’s daddy.”
“Daddy buys candies with his precious, hard-earned money, and leaves them to you instead of eating them. And believe me, daddy loves chocolate.”

Bought this game as a favour to a friend, not expecting a tonne of satisfaction as its quite a departure from my usual fare.
It has completely exceeded my expectations and the last few days when opening steam this has been the game I’ve wanted to play. I also very desperately want to nuke Santa. His carpet bombing is THE WORST.
The theming is in your face, the price is low. Give it a crack you might just like it as much as I did.

Mist Hunter
Awesome crazy game!
No-bullsht frantic arena shooter with randomized upgrades and unlockable weapons. Cool visual style and fluid shooting and traversing mechanics. Good quality overall.
It’s a rely good game and it deserves more exposure, lots of fun in it’s current state, but has potential to be extended with more mid/long-term mechanics, a progression/upgrades system similar to Dead Cells or even procedurally generated levels.

At the time of writing this review I have only done a single run. The game is quite fun and different. The movement feels really nice and I personally love the art style. If you like FPS games but also like games where you get tons of different runs (i.e Binding of Isaac) then this is a nice blend of the two genres. 9/10 in my book easily.

SPACE BLASTER 8 BIT
Lazy and obvious rip off of the highly superior in every way BitBlasterXL made by Nickervision studios.
This developer didn’t even bother to make explosion sounds or effects when you crash, enough said.
This game is played and given my first impressions score in this 5 space blaster game competition video right here: (Review of this game starts at 7:00 min in)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GyZgEjvxnE
To the developer: If you are going to try and make a game and base EVERYTHING in your game off of the success of another popular indie game here on Steam, make changes in your game that make your version “better”. Your version is an obvious rip off of BitBlaster XL and inferior to it in every way and you know it. You should be ashamed.
