This game is innovative and fun whilst playing with your homies and has potential grow and be even better than it already is. Crack open a cold can of pepsi and enjoy! Big ups to the creator who made this.

Suburban Scavengers

Suburban Scavengers

Suburban Scavengers is a small tug of war fighting game where you’re trying to get somebody’s garbage couch into your house.

Have you ever seen an item being thrown out as garbage that you thought you might like to take home? Have you ever wanted to punch a mall santa in the face or elbow drop a hipster? If you’re looking for a game that you can do these things in, look no further.

Inspired by a One Game a Month game jam themed “couch” and the video game “Nidhogg”, Suburban Scavengers is an award winning (Orlando iX2016 - Best Narrative), fast paced, easy to play, competitive fighting game that will get your blood pumping and adrenaline flowing.

SYNAPTIC DRIVE

SYNAPTIC DRIVE

EDIT: More information has come to light: The majority of parts are not able to be unlocked. Despite showing up in AI battles and on the parts select screen as ???, the devs are waiting to make those parts playable. So basically, this is an unfinished game sold as a fully finished game. The rest of the review still stands.

Do not buy this game. It looks and plays like an Early Access game and is not even worth it for the avid Custom Robo fan.

Visuals:

  • Graphics are only okay, and the options to change them are extremely limited

For Fans Of: Custom Robo, Bullet Hells, 1v1 Competition, Being a Alligator, Action Shooter Combat, Going Fast, EXPLOSIONS, Futuristic World Environment, Strategy, Replayability, Being a Clown, Color Coordinating your Character, Cool Arena Designs

Cons: No Story Mode (although with how the game is designed, a story mode probably be quite bland so maybe it’s not a bad thing. Arcade mode is good for single player content.)

Netcode is bad, be ready for either laggy explosion fests online or spending time leveling in Arcade until it gets improved. For Steam users Remote Play is your best bet.

Too difficult.

Why is the fucking skill curve so damn steep? One second I’m chillin, the next I’m smashing my mouse on my desk… The music makes me want to jump off a cliff and on half of the levels clicking esc opens the pause menu, yet on the other half, esc does nothing. Good idea, very bad execution.

ASSASSINATION BOX

Found a glitch/bug where if I crouch , I cannot die.

Also I finished this 100% in like what? 2/3 days?

For those who are lazy, get auto clicker. Trust me.

[UPDATE]

Welp, this game got updated. In the old map it was just a small arena.

The auto clicker won’t be as much use now.

This game has little to offer and I don’t see it leaving Ealry Access.

The game has, but not limited to:

-Boring, discusting music

-6 minutes of gameplay

-Insulting achivements that yelled at me for starting the game

-Having got the chance to assassinate anyone in my playtime due to the horrendous aiming

-Dont see a box anywhere

Do not waste your hard earned 6 dollars on this. If you wish to burn 6, just make a salad of money and eat it with some ranch. Much more enjoyable then playing this.

Boreal Blade

Boreal Blade

easily the best melee “fighting”/slasher style pvp game in the vein of jedi knight 2/JA (inc. with mods like MB and OJP/JKE), in my opinion, of all time. whatever genre you want to call it, it’s a coming together of classics like the Jedi Knight series, Die By The Sword, Chivary, Mordhau and to games like Absolver as well to a degree.

To me this game is a beautiful marriage of the elements that made me love “melee slashers” and it’s plagued by none of the issues of other titles. The movement, animation, attacks, attack feedback, abilities and customization are all done beautifully and you can tell what’s going on regardless of how new you are to the game. The controls take a short amount of getting used to, after that it’s incredibly intuitive. It’s an incredible amount of fun to play, shockingly easy to learn and just the right level of hard to master. I haven’t enjoyed being owned by far better opponents or enjoyed owning less skilled players this much possibly ever. It all comes down to the aesthetic, combat feedback and combat design that is IMHO unparalleled by any other game on the market. Name a game with combat that’s more intense, well-thought out and encourages the least anger towards the game than this. You can’t. These developers deserve all the support anyone can give.

Edit: I wrote that because I kept trying to post my review, but I thought maybe it was too long or something so if I would just type something short it would post then I could edit it later, but then it didn’t work, but I guess it did.

Oh my oh my oh my. The beta was already super promising. Sure I didn’t get to play much in the beta since they weren’t many games running, but it was a blast. And I was expecting to pay $20, and then it’s $4, but then on sale for 10% because why not, and, and less than one 5th of the price, and, and… Oh yeah I have to talk about the game.

Gado Fight

Gado Fight

This game is TOO GOOD!!! Crazy that this is a mobile game but it is ported so nice to PC. The combo system is very similar to Blade Strangers but instead getting of less damage for using the same moves in a combo, you cannot use the same attacks in a single juggle. This allows players to get creative in order to do the most damage possible! I will definitely be playing much much MUCH more often!

Real player with 20.0 hrs in game

tl;dr: The gameplay is solid. The UX,Eng translations, and lack of control remapping? Not so much.

A Fighting Gamer’s Perspective:

For context, I like playing fighting games but find the mainstream ones to have too high of a skill floor to have fun with them. I’m not wholly dedicated to them but still enjoy playing matches on occasion. Blasphemy I know.

Impressions:

Gado Fight , from the very short time I’ve played it, seems like an ambitious fighting game. Since it’s a port of a mobile game it has rather simplified base mechanics, with the depth that fgc heads will like. You can look up combo videos and see for yourself. If you like BFTG, or Metal Revolution, you’ll like Gado Fight.

Galvanic Games is a Seattle-based full service creative studio that specializes in design, development, and services for games. The team led by C.J. Kimberlin have already developed two other games in Rust Belt and Moderne Artiste. Gurgamoth is the team’s debut title on Steam. It’s a local multiplayer fighter that has recently undergone a greatly appreciated update that has seen the introduction of bots into the game. This has given the game an enormous boost in playability because, obviously, those who wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the game previously are now in a position where they can play.

A 2-4 Player Local-Multiplayer Fighting Arena

https://youtu.be/cvHZyBCZBJ4

  • I loved the Rave / Techno background music

  • The arena’s look great, very nice art-style and background animations

  • Unique mechanics in each stage giving you a different experience as to how you play, some have spike walls, some close in on you, some have death lasers or a giant spike ball of doom.

  • Quite a few power-ups that can be game-changing

  • Playing with friends is fun, and the social experience really adds tot he game itself.

MouseWars Party

MouseWars Party

It’s good but I think there should be more options in local like setting the time limit to infinite and being able to use controllers aswell as mice for multiple players (example: having P1 use a mouse and P2 using a controller) this would allow people like me (I have 1 mouse and 2 controllers) to play multiplayer

UPDATE: I now have a 2nd mouse and multiplayer works great, it would be cool if we could change the colours of teams or cursors in deathmatch
