Jiangshi x Daoshi
I absolutely love this game! It uses a refreshing mix of static avatars & backgrounds, with frequent animation and motion comic action panels reminiscent of Dead Leaves. This gives the game an extremely dynamic feel, which makes up for the lack of choices. Like many Visual Novels, heavy emphasis is on the word Novel, as such, interaction in this game is mostly limited to hunting for words that the in-game hover-dictionary may explain for you.
Jiangshi X Daoshi boasts a rich story packed with fantastic Chinese mythology/historical information, with a wholesome dynamic between the main characters.

I wish to bring awareness to this. Apparently this VN was banned upon submission because of certain scenes and they’ve fought tooth and nail the bring it back for us to enjoy. Bans usually mean end of the line for most games from what I have heard. I’ve went back in to check most of these scenes and they aren’t even close to becoming questionable. Usagi Yojimbo: Way of the Ronin
Like they said, an uncomplicated retro brawler a la Double Dragon or TMNT.
Nothing fency like Mortal Kombat, less violent and good for younger audiences and like the wonderful comic series recommended to those who enjoy Sakai’s art and story telling and who don’t need enemies being stripped of their spines or needless other gore fests.
I got my fun out of it for that price.

I love this game.
I owned the very first game on the C64. It was one of my favourite games back then. Im glad to see it back again.
It stays close to the feel and atmosphere of the original and is graphically better. I love the additional combat moves.
I do wish it was longer, however.
If you liked the old version, pick it up, if not only for the nostalgia.

Judge Dredd 95
I remember playing this game a little bit when it first came out in 1996 in Germany. It was difficult for a 10 year old but once I understood the mechanics I had lots of fun. Unfortunately now, even with nostalgia glasses on, I can’t play it … it’s just too dated. If you never played this game, stay away. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1555463848 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1562240487

RICO: London
Rico 2 is a sequel to the first Rico that not a lot of people played, but the ones who did, did mostly enjoy. The game for me was and still is pretty fun for what it is and i do recommend it, despite a few problems that it carries.
In terms of story, it’s just like the first game (which means: SKIP). I like the art style, i think that real XIII style graphics (Cell shaded) are not used enough and i find it charming in this game, which also has a bigger verity of environments and a bigger attention to detail. sound design is nothing special, does what it needs to but nothing memorable.

RICO 2: London has an amazing art style, a classic rogue cop premise and good voice acting. All of that is weighed down to its death by a boring loop system, the same soundtrack played over and over and over again, a needlessly complicated weapon system and enemies who are laughably bullet spongey for zero reason.
Don’t buy this game.

Rogue Trooper Redux
Introduction
This should have been a smooth ride. A literal blue milk run, if you’ll indulge my Star Wars pun for another Sci-Fi scenario which proved to be more complex than its originally envisioned draft. Things rarely unfold according to plan, aren’t they? I never expected that one day I’ll stumble across a video game which refuses to render any sound assets at all. And trust me, I have lost count of how many titles I have played on PC since 1999. Until Rogue Trooper Redux (RTR), no other game showcased such a silent and underwhelming affair for me, during a period in which I have used three desktop systems and two laptops before settling for my current gaming rig.

“Rogue Trooper Redux” isn’t all that BAD a game. It’s mostly OK, though it does have problems:
-
There’s no way to control the Voice volume. No matter how much I reduced the Music or Sound Effect volume, I never could hear the actual voices (which is pretty bad since that’s how you get your objectives).
-
Movement is pretty clunky. You can either crouch walk or walk normally (i.e., it’s slow). There is a jump function, but it really isn’t very useful.
-
Weapon handling is definitely clunky. Reloading takes place when the game feels like it and takes quite a long time. Aiming has an excess of wobble. Using a grenade is so awkward that you avoid using them. Some of the weapons seem to use the same representation (so you can’t tell what weapon you’re actually using). The weapon-swap animations are so slow as to be ridiculous.

SpellPunk VR
I am not into writing reviews but I think that SpellPunk is underestimated, that is why I decided to say something about it. I truly enjoy this game. It is hard to find a good spellcasting vr game with beautiful graphics, working controls and entertaining gameplay. SpellPunk has all of these. The game is super immersive. I truly admire that its developers have gone the extra mile giving us the possibility to play with a full-body avatar instead of the usual flying hands. This feature makes me feel like I am a pure-blood magician. I can’t find the words to explain the feeling of winning a magical duel after successfully casting your spells. I feel even more powerful than a Harry Potter wizard, because I don’t even need a wand. How amazing is this?

TLDR; Worth supporting, but a long way to go.
This game is a work in progress, there are definitely some wrinkles that need to be ironed out. Having said that, there is a lot of charm to the concept of core gameplay. I feel like there’s a lot of potential and while you may not love the game now, it could grow into something special with support. There are a lot of problems that I will lay out so while I am giving it my recommendation, it’s current state may not satisfy you. Here we go.
