This game is pretty fun for the price! But only if you have someone to play with… I happened to come across a stranger and he kept threatening to say the word over text to speech and my mum was listening to my pc and she got really angry and she took my pc away for an hour but other than that the game was fun! I’d give another road I one half carrot out of I one half uneasy face..

i ran into this really cool dude with a top hat and a moustache, the only way to communicate was text to speech, i’m pretty sure he was russian. anyway, i really wanted to say this word, but he also was forcing me to say it, so i don’t know if it was truly me who wanted to say it or if he was peer pressuring me. i think i fell in love with dwayne the rock johnson during this, something about the character models…. what?? did i just say that out loud???. yeah ah hehe uh woops, anyway….. 5/5

Mad Bullets

Mad Bullets

Howdie partner. This is by far the best shooting gallery type game I’ve ever played. It features good graphics, sound effects and music that never gets boring. There are many types of enemies, and thanks to the missions you’ve got to achieve to get stars, wich make your character level up, there are many different styles of playthroughs.

What makes this game different to its competitors is that on the first look it only consists of three different levels that get mixed up by a handfull of bonus stages, but overall get repeated over and over again. Sounds boring? Well, it isn’t, because there are many different routes through each level that get mixed up every time, and this feature is so well thought out that even with my high playcount in this very game it still does manage to surprise me every now and then.

I’ve discovered that I do enjoy shooter-on-rails style games (Blue Estate, Is Defense) and this game is actually good as well, but mean and cheap grinding mechanics is what made me rate this one down. I’m an achievement hunter and as for the moment I only got one left - reach level 20. You need more and more stars with each level, and although their amount skyrocket closer to the desired level, it’s ok. To earn stars you need to complete goals; there are common goals that grant 1 star, 2 stars, 3 stars and daily goal that refreshes every 24 hours and gives you 5 stars. If you don’t like a common goal, you can change it for 125 Sacks and since money is not actually a problem, this is ok as well.

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD

One of my favorite games of all time. An incredible amount of love and thought went into this, and it’s immediately apparent. The originality, humor, gameplay, and meaningful undertones all come together to form an unforgettable experience.

This game is simply… fun(ny). You can listen in on the hilarious dialogue of any character, laugh at the attention-whore chipmunk farting on your crossbow and being “allergic to your ugliness”, lose yourself in Michael Bross' amazing soundtrack, appreciate the truly unique design and setting, punch complacent chickens in the face and steal their money, notice the parallels between harmonious peoples being subverted by industrialism and a people out of allignment with nature; the list goes on.

Originally released for the Microsoft Xbox in 2005, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath was developer Oddworld Inhabitants' attempt to move away from their platforming roots and into the popular genre of first-person shooter video games.

They still maintained a bit of platforming, however, which is why you can also play this game from a third-person perspective when that is required. And more importantly the signature art style and atmosphere of the previous Oddworld games are still very much what sets Stranger’s Wrath apart.

WILD-9

WILD-9

Small, rough, and buggy - but nevertheless charming. Not unlike the asteroid you land on.

Wild-9’s first playthrough should take you roughly half an hour, as it says in the description.

Adding a speedrun achievement to this game, in my opinion, was a mistake. Your speedrun attempts will expose many of the flaws in this game.

! First, deleting your save and starting over is very likely to generate a broken seed that doesn’t spawn any enemies - you can check this almost immediately by noticing the absence of the first enemy you’re supposed to encounter. If you want to start a new run, you need to close out and re-open the game first. Second, you’ll come to rely on a highly-exploitable quirk where enemies will teleport back to their starting position if they wander too far away from it, where you can basically spawn-camp them. (Better than them getting lost, though.) Third, upon each death, you’ll respawn at your spaceship with a scooter, but not necessarily the same class of scooter you had - meaning you might get a free upgrade. I also encountered a CTD on my first run of the game, none afterward though.

A good, albeit buggy game. There is an issue that when you delete a save then try to start a new game, some old events from the previous run will be saved. I solved this by just closing and reopening the game, but still a big issue. It is an interesting game, with a cool way of finding things (hint, talk to NPCs). The world is very confusing and could’ve used a map, as well as a way to differentiate between places you’ve been and haven’t been better. Good pickup for the price.

I’m a cowboy: Western Shooter

I’m a cowboy: Western Shooter

I’m a cowboy: Western Shooter - a hardcore top-down shooter with an indescribable atmosphere of the wild west.

Each shootout can be the last. You need a great reaction to defeat your enemies.

Revolvers, rifles, dynamite and even machine guns - you can use all this in battle.

Adrenaline-pumping gameplay, one-on-one duels, challenging shootouts, horse chases, all this awaits you in this game.

Main character

Hi, my name is Tom, Tom Horn, they tried to hang a lot of dirty things on me, but you know what, buddy? I’m not like that. I know I know you’ve been told about me. They said that I killed the kid and a lot of other people for money, but it’s all nonsense. I was a deputy sheriff, I didn’t kill anyone for bucks and I never touched children. Sit back, I’ll tell you my story.

Main features:

  • Unique graphic style;

  • Adrenaline gameplay;

  • Hardcore shootings;

  • Various game scenarios (capture of a train, horse chases, siege of a ranch with bandits, etc.);

  • One-on-one duels with gang leaders;

  • Timed survival mode;

  • 6 unique types of weapons;

  • Multiplayer with modes 2 by 2 and deathmatch;

See if you can kill them all.

A top down shooter that reminds me of Sunset Riders from consoles long ago. Take a look at my video posted above to get a sense of gameplay. Be mindful to take note of the control scheme listed on the store page as there are no in game reminders. I found myself jabbing at the keyboard trying to find out but not before being murdered by the first enemy over and over again. I will say that the pace of the game is a bit slow and because of that level progression is very slow. I spent 20 minutes on mission 2 and never completed it.
