The Falconeer

The Falconeer

Alright, here’s the dealio, I saw this game before it was released and was instantly enamored by open world flying and dog fighting mechanics (something I’ve dabbled in before and liked). I followed it very closely until it released and bought it almost immediately when it was available. At first I used a controller to play the game, unsure if keyboard and mouse worked (my preferred method), it was a bit wonky and the controls took some time to get used to. While the game says its not keyboard and mouse supported I play it keyboard and mouse anyway, my fingers are not suited for basic controller controls so when it can be keyboard and mouse that is my go to any and every time regardless if its made for it or not. Using my preferred control system does increase my enjoy-ability to play the game (because duh I can actually PLAY the game this way).

Above the clouds, freedom must be boundless… or not, as The Falconeer shows us. Our falcon makes it only just above the clouds. Most of the time we fly either very close to the ground or at cloud height, but not much higher. That makes sense, because it’s damn cold up there and the oxygen is a bit scarce.

Never Return

Never Return

the basis of behind the scene should be explained first.

it’s almost like im playing one of those old school dungeon crawler games but with more possibilities due to the higher possibilities of the unity engine. i’ve been enjoying the game even though it’s early access. something about the early access tag that many people might not understand is that unlike almost all the early access titles that have existed, the devs of this game have NO intention of staying early access forever. the roadmap is on the store page and the team clearly are trying their best to stay on the time frames despite the small size. pulling overnight shifts and extra days to deliver.

Never Return

Never Return is a brand spanking new 3D, action-adventure, dungeon-crawler with Roguelite elements. The Steam store page says it’s a Roguelite experience, but Nah, I would say it’s more of a Roguelite+ experience.

Every time you die, you can revive yourself with in-game soul currency as many times as you want until your pocket runs dry.

POSTSCRIPT

This game is adapted from my comic.

There is story mode, so don't worry about not looked the original comic.

I wanted to make a networking game,

however, the network technology is too hard so I deleted the network mode,

instead, used local multiplay mode.

Players can use STEAM's Remote Play Together or PARSEC or other third share screen platforms for online connection.

Very interesting game, the description says it all, clearly…but it runs well and feels fun! I keep saying it in these reviews, but I mean it...the price is a little too steep..this could be fun for a lot of people but...if they won't spend 11 bucks, maybe the won't see how good it is, anyways..just my thoughts. Not a bad game at all!

## Target Runner

Terrible control system

Bugged, including losing your entire progress until you reboot multiple times to get it back eventually. One level just putting you back to the start seemingly randomly. Performing actions you didn’t click, and occasionally your character just leaps completely out of your visible area and cannot be controlled, forcing you to start again

The level design is mediocre, with any challenge coming from the mouse based control system that in no way is suited to purpose.

Even at less than a quid, avoid.

So 20 minutes into the game, I've spent 19 of the minutes on the fourth level. I have died 75 times so far, 74 of those on the fourth level. If you would like to sit here for an hour dying on the fourth level, this is a great game!

## Cave Nightmare

Hello!

_Thank you for sharing your game for us to play on Steam!_

I had a lot of fun playing your game and finished all 10 levels in 43 minutes as well as grabbing all 5 of those achievements. The game is small but very complete and definitely worth it for the price. The character art and animations are smooth and each level has its own clear increase in difficulty, building in complexity as you progress through them. I didn't encounter any bugs or issues whilst navigating levels, and even checked corners, walls and anything I thought would potentially trigger a problem. The controls are easy to understand and simple which makes the game play accessible to people of all ages or experience. This game can be enjoyed on both Controller and keyboard depending on the individuals preference.

Cave Nightmare is another asset flip from ImperiumGame. This time they took a template for a 2D retro pixel top down stealth game from Yoyogames/GameMaker Studio 2, changed a couple of things, and dumped it on Steam as if they wrote it themselves. Copying someone else's work and calling it your own is a real nasty, morally void cash grab.

They did this before when they asset flipped Mad Bus, also known as [ZigZag Infinite Runner Game](https://www.unity3dfree.com/zigzag-infinite-runner-game/) by yönetici. And they've done it several other times as well.
