The Equinox Hunt
I’ve played the game a lot in alpha, beta as well as release, I’ve tried going for all the achievements, but it was too tedious after a while. You can find my name at the beginning of the credits as a tester.
Short Version:
Good side:
-
great gameplay
-
great level design
-
good controls
-
good enough atmosphere
Bad side:
-
badly presented story [no cutscenes except for the end]
-
no voice lines [breaks immersion][it could’ve easily been fixed for cheap]
-
badly optimized, to run the game a bit above 60 fps, it uses 80% of my gtx 1070ti

Had a lot of fun in the game even if its not something that I normally play. Got to the end of the game and enjoyed the ride, had quite a few laughs and scares along the way. You can play it stealthly or guns blazing, or I should say rocks blazing. I will replay the game just to hunt the achievements.

UPDATE: There have been some SOLID changes to this game since I last played it, which is very encouraging and promising for the final, full release.
Here’s what I noticed that was changed:
-
Inventory streamlining
-
It seems like the hazard escalation is slower, which allows for more exploration
-
It seems like the player’s character has more breath, which is a little more forgiving than before
-
The final door appears to be working as intended (no spoilers here)

Heroes of Book & Paper
HB&P s an old-school RPG game that uses an 80s/90s style of design and concept. Your decisions will determine the ending of each adventure you take. Every story has different and random components. This means that the stories will vary from game to game.
Even though HB&P is an 80s/90s style game, we have taken the liberty of saving you from having to read the boring endless story paragraphs.
Here is how we begin. You, the player, will generate a character from a series of available classes which enters a medieval fantasy world. During the initial launch of the game, three classes will be available: Warrior, Sorcerer and Rogue. In addition to this, there are five more classes to chose from, such as, Paladin, Cleric, Bard and Necromancer.
This world is based on stories, and although in the beginning you will see only four stories available, the goal is to reach fifteen. These stories are completely replayable, since it’s based on player’s decisions, their character, their skills and objects. All of which can be modified. To add to this, all the stories have a procedural component that generates different places, characters, traps, combats, objects, etc. Even if you replay the same story with the same character. You will not play two identical adventures.
The adventures all have a certain level of difficulty, but they can be completed in the order you chose.
The character will be able to level up as he passes stories and earns experience points. So, in the next adventure your character will be stronger. There is no proper level system, so your character will improve the characteristics that you want, to the limit that you desire. This will allow you to configure your character to your liking. For example, it is possible to get a Warrior-Wizard if you manage to obtain enough value in a certain characteristic, and you find the appropriate spells or items.
Although there is a road map, this game is open to any suggestions from the players and the community in hopes of making improvements wherever needed.
As you progress in the game, new characters and stories will be added. The old stories that you have played will also receive new items and options as they appear in the game.

Never Return
the basis of behind the scene should be explained first.
it’s almost like im playing one of those old school dungeon crawler games but with more possibilities due to the higher possibilities of the unity engine. i’ve been enjoying the game even though it’s early access. something about the early access tag that many people might not understand is that unlike almost all the early access titles that have existed, the devs of this game have NO intention of staying early access forever. the roadmap is on the store page and the team clearly are trying their best to stay on the time frames despite the small size. pulling overnight shifts and extra days to deliver.

Never Return
Never Return is a brand spanking new 3D, action-adventure, dungeon-crawler with Roguelite elements. The Steam store page says it’s a Roguelite experience, but Nah, I would say it’s more of a Roguelite+ experience.
Every time you die, you can revive yourself with in-game soul currency as many times as you want until your pocket runs dry.

## Songbringer
Do I recommend "Songbringer"? With some time thinking, yes. Yes, I do.
Honestly, it took me some time to get warm with it. The selling point of the game is the gameplay and as a beginner it is really hard to get into it. And as further the story goes, the more unfair passages, where it is impossible not to get hit, you encounter. However, after the first playthrough you might change your opinion, like I did. Give it a shot.
The most obvious game on Steam you can compare it with is probably "Hyper Light Drifter" as it looks and feels the same way. Beyond Steam you'll see more similarities with the very first "Legend of Zelda" though.

TL;DR - Songbring exceeded all my expectations. Normally Zelda-esque games disappoint me and make me sad. Songbringer won my undivided attention even though I was working on a paper for my Master's. Revelling has never been more fun, and with multiple ways to solve various problems, procedural world generation, and alternate endings, Songbringer is a no brainer. Buy it. 8.2/10

Graphics: Songbringer is retro... but retro in the style of retro on crack. The visuals at first seem kind of interesting but nothing special. Then as you progress in the game, you start to see all the added effects. Particle effects are done extremely well. Night to day effects, death effects, use of special items... all effect the game in a great way and help set the mood.

## CYBERUSH
I'm not quite sure what to say about 'CYBERUSH', it's a manga style shooter that is very light on just about everything. You get to pick a choice of 3 weapons which are sword, gun and shotgun and you kill enemies with them then goto the lift up to the next level which seems to be a constant rotation of about 5 office style layouts. From its annoying music to the basic graphics this game is as low quality as they come, but the biggest issue is that it doesn't really have playability to back it up. Even the money I collected in the game seemed to be for nothing. This is certainly not something I would recommend for £7.19, but if some issues get fixed it might be worth a quid or two. https://youtu.be/httvkuexin4
