Never Return
the basis of behind the scene should be explained first.
it’s almost like im playing one of those old school dungeon crawler games but with more possibilities due to the higher possibilities of the unity engine. i’ve been enjoying the game even though it’s early access. something about the early access tag that many people might not understand is that unlike almost all the early access titles that have existed, the devs of this game have NO intention of staying early access forever. the roadmap is on the store page and the team clearly are trying their best to stay on the time frames despite the small size. pulling overnight shifts and extra days to deliver.

Never Return
Never Return is a brand spanking new 3D, action-adventure, dungeon-crawler with Roguelite elements. The Steam store page says it’s a Roguelite experience, but Nah, I would say it’s more of a Roguelite+ experience.
Every time you die, you can revive yourself with in-game soul currency as many times as you want until your pocket runs dry.

## Rum & Gun
Hi!
Here is yet another game review after playing this game for a while i truly got into it and i am enjoying it.
This is a pirate game without any ships a rowing boat yes but no ships so if you are looking for a pirate game with ships to sail the high seas and sink ships and steal their plunder then this game is not for you.
This game is based around YOU a pirate on land killing monsters and other fellow pirates you will have various maps to unlock spread over various (ACTS) i am on Act 2 but i think there will be 3 Acts or more to unlock.

I've been following this game's development for some time, and I instantly bought it.
What really surprised me is that just for 4 euros, I expected much less content. Only one act is playable currently, but it contained 6 hours of gameplay to me. So the first big issue of the game, is that it's too cheap :D
I would say that it's base is similar to Diablo II, but with interesting twists on the mechanics, and the combat got a good, Doom-like, situation based weapon arsenal, which I enjoyed mastering. In the early stages the builds are flexible as well, but by the end of the game, I started dying, so I had to use most of my toolkit, changing my weapons nearly from enemy to enemy. Which was a good feeling, because I could master my skills for a long time.

![Reptiles: In Hunt](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/897380/header.jpg "")
## Reptiles: In Hunt
An adventure game with the story of a hunter who tries to find his lost son, set in a post apocalyptic world ruled by dinosaurs and reptilian humanoids.
It's content is very nice for an indie title. The playtime is about 4-6 hours.
The story is quite simple without decisions, still enough to keep up the interest.
The graphics and the map design looks fine.
There are even some really beautiful places which can make the player to stop and simply enjoying the view. There are some graphical bugs, but none of those are serious.
*– [Real player with 25.4 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198811314045)*
TLDR: **Reptiles: In Hunt** has more bugs than dinosaurs, but despite its many failings there is a gaming experience worth hunting in this indie title…it just needs a lot more evolution before we can call it a 'clever girl.'
* * * * *
I completed **Reptiles: In Hunt** today - in total, it took me a little under 10 hours (9.8 hours). Looking at other reviewers time with the game, I suspect I might be one of the few people to leave a review who've played this game to the end (at least, at the time of writing), so I want to offer some thoughts.

## Alien Planet Explorer

From time to time you'll come across a game that you can just tell the developer tried and put a lot of effort into. Alient Planet Explorer (APE) is one of those titles. Other than the fact that the game is insanely short, there is a lot of good here if they choose to expand and further add to the game.
At this point, there is no story to be mentioned, but it seems like the intention is there. As the game has some tutorial dialog popups that look a lot like conversation boxes, I would like to assume they wanted to implement story and conversation exchanges. Obviously, the fact that not even a light story is present really hurts the game for a very large portion of the audience.

## Eternium
I have been a member of Steam for quite a few years I really do not write a lot of reviews. I do not even post that often. But this game has frustrated me to the point I feel I have no choice.
I played the game even though there were things that bothered me but for some reason it intrigued me. I mean using the same mouse click to attack with as you use to move can be a major PITA when you are trying to not eat a bosses enrage.
I have definitely yelled at my avatar a time or two begging him to move and not attack. But I played through.

This is a review from a long lost fan of the game. I play this game with my last save of Eternium on mobile, then login back with this PC version.
I played this game on mobile version since 4 years ago (counted from today's release of early access on PC today, and the last mail i got in game that still stay). Been liking it on how it has some unique aspects like swiping and drawing sign controls, important loots were pretty easy to get like set gears and what not, cuz you can combine some gears into better version of it. All currencies can be acquired through in game, which was only gold and gems. Some upgrades may requires you to wait real time, but it was still comfy for sometime.

## Ortharion project
The game is a bit different than your traditional ARPG, but almost all of what it does works and its one of the most fun arpg games I have played since diablo 2\.
One of the big differences is the controls, its wasd+mouse to aim, this is normally associated with MMO's not arpg's but it really works for this game and I have just as much fun rounding up groups of mobs to aoe to death as with traditional mouse point and click controls.
This game has one of the deepest/richest item, skills, loot systems I have ever seen in a arpg. It's too complex to explain breifly, but if you like grinding for gear and min/maxing stats..this game won't disappoint you!
*– [Real player with 60.5 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198140056745)*
Pros:
- A myriad of build options, including character attributes, a large passive tree, an evolution tree, spell upgrades, spell runes, gear crafting, gems, build-enabling abilities on epic and legendary gear, plus achievements that provide bonuses (and not just to your current character). Digging through the possibilities is perhaps the best aspect of the game.
- Drops are frequent, and thanks to the crafting system, getting decent gear for your level is straightforward.
- Everything you find is useful in some way (if only to change into gold), and there's a clear endgame (being able to reliably complete +100 dungeons).

![Chronicon](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/375480/header.jpg "")
## Chronicon
Amazing game. It has:
- very malleable yet fairly easy enchanting system
- interesting skill trees and crazy equipment powers that combined can produce builds almost breaking the game at extremes
- awesome endgame mode that offers tons of fun
- sweet qol features like very configurable radial loot pickup
- otherwise has familiar structure like acts, elites, bosses, gems etc.
What's a bit missing:
- given the possible complexity and interconnections of builds, I'd absolutely love a proper build benchmark, like a minute recording of the actual damage you make that's reported to you with some details.

One of the reasons I like the Steam platform so much is that it offers opportunity for development teams to release early access versions of their games.
Of course some games never get out of early access for many reasons or the dev teams take little notice of the player base that are effectively 'testing' EA/Alpha/beta versions and the player base walk away.
Chronicon is a perfect example of Early Access done well.
I believe the earliest version was 5 years ago.
I picked the game up back in November 2017 and looking at my Steam logs played it for just a couple of weeks.

![Heroes of Loot 2](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/439880/header.jpg "")
## Heroes of Loot 2
I LOVE this game!! I was pleasantly surprized by the first Heroes of Loot, and this one improves on everything that was enjoyable in the first one, and goes beyond. There are new additions throughout….there are cool levels, great loot, arenas, responsive controls, neat enemies and lots more! Though you control more than one hero in this game, it is not at all trying, nor demands co-op to do so. It's just a lot of fun to play...as is the first game. My play-time is a bit minor as I wrote this...but the game gives you a lot of enjoyment in a short time...so ideal for quick runs and long runs or in-between other games. I highly recommend this game already, early into its 'early access' stage...and also highly recommend the first Heroes of Loot too!! Great to see a 'sequal' that adds so much to its predesassor without diminishing either game. Bravo, Orangepixel!!!!!

A super fun arcade-like twin-stick meets dungeon crawler. Hits all the right spots including plenty of homage to Gauntlet. If you like either of these genres this comes highly reccommended.
