It’s a unique auto generated game. Missons tend to be often very similar but there is always different glitches. A unique touch I saw was each auto generated game has it’s own little backstory for why your playing the “game” like every video game. The only glitch I see is with the flying mission which is if you try to barrell roll it doesnt work then u cant shoot and in shooting as planes sometimes if u die u never respawn/get the restart u should. Through the ramble I would say it’s a good time killer if you just want good casual fun to kill stress tho some of the hard mode glitches uggh lol I’d wait for a discount but like $15 vs th e current $20

I really wanted to like and recommend this game, but I cannot.

On the surface, the idea sounds great. Mix and match pieces of different retro games/genres and play through whatever wackiness gets created.

In reality, the game overall fails to deliver. Individual mashes take at most 10 minutes to play through, but rarely did I ever spend that much time in any one “game”. Instead, some are so easy (even on a hard setting) that you’re in and out in a matter of 30 seconds or less. The game description even calls out that some mash ups easy to win, some will be impossible. That’s acceptable given the premise.

There is still a big bug not letting you edit the first game in your list, it will let you edit the second one for some reason, not the first.

Seriously just buy gameguru instead its so much more versatile and does not rely on unreal engine assets ..

“for kids”

Well I for sure think its pretty wrong to tell small kiddies this line

“HEY kids you wanna go shoot some little animals to death or play scary zombie and monster levels yeah?? come on lets go murder some innocent bystanders too in our nice game which we can make using this murder death kill gamemaker that will introduce you to the wonderful world of violence”

Amazing game creation tool.

Great artwork, sound effects and music.

Loads of variety to characters, scenarios and props.

Very slick UI makes this a joy to use.

Updated regularly, if only all tools like this were as user friendly but at

the same time as powerful.

English:

Game installs problem-free on Windows 10.

At the start of the game, the first problem comes to light:

you are immediately in the game - without any possible volume settings etc.

Also no help, which functions there are in the game …

You are constantly playing in the same screen area and can only click left or right to change direction or to shoot around there, with the figure itself running in the previously selected direction within the screen area, which is why you find death quickly and often, especially since the opponent is simply short show up without warning. So a very chaotic control and programming.

Where to begin? Diablo meets Disney, Never Winter Nights meets Legoland. This game is great on so may levels.

Whether you like playing action RPG’s or you like to craft worlds/scenarios for your friends to enjoy, Single player, multiplayer, PVP, World editor.

I can honestly say I’ve not found a game that appealed so much in a long, long time. Mostly it is FUN. Fun to build, fun to play. Challenging if you’re a serious mayhem seeker, entertaining if you just like to explore.

Since I wrote the above the game has received a steady stream of upgrades in terms of new buildings, props, collectables, choosable theme music, new npcs and enemies, a brilliant character creator so you can build your own npc’s and enemies from a huge range of body parts and AI’s, upgrades to questing making it much easier to control the flow of play. The dev’s have been seemingly tireless in their dedication to fulfilling the game’s early promise.

NOTE: This review is written while the game was in Early Access at 25th of april.

You know, I’ve always been a person who likes to build stuff. That’s why I LOVED to play with LEGO. I used to build all kinds of stuff. Cars, buildings…whatever I preferred, as long as I knew how the pieces connected to eachother. Because how hard is it to build a tower when you don’t know how your tools and bricks work? That would be a mighty challenge even for master builders…

The hobby of building things kind of continued when I started playing video games, so I bought a game like MyWorlds before called Fight the Dragon. That game had an amazing level editor with lots of tools to play with, including a lot of ‘‘invisible’’ mechanisms like triggers and such. Unfortunately that game is suffering a slow and silent death due to lack of players, which brought me back to the quest of finding a game where I could express my fountain of imagination.

This game is still under development. From what I have seen so far from interacting with the Dev team, is that they really care about their user base and the game they are creating. While the game is still very much in an Alpha state, I have high hopes for its success. Its fairly easy to upload content to and it’s only going to get better from here. The sky is the limit on this application.

HIT CHARACTER LIMIT, VIEW THE COMMENTS FOR ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS ON THE GAME

This was an interesting review to write. On one hand, it’s an extremely fun game to sink a lot of time into. On the other hand, it’s basically a re-release of a game, not a remaster. The game itself when it was released in 2010 was really fun. I really enjoyed it (although I’m still not a huge fan of the very heavy steering that the game supplies) for its really fun gamemodes online, good graphics, great car list, and the really good tactical nature of most of the online stuff. It’s also immensely satisfying when you do get a really good run through a series of corners at top speed and shaving off that extra fraction of a second when grinding for good times on all the single player events. Likewise, it’s also hugely satisfying to release that perfectly timed spike strip to catch one of your enemies off guard, allowing for your teammates to move in to take them out of the game.

For reference, I bought the 2010 “Limited Edition” version of this game’s original release for PS3 pretty much as soon as it was available. I played through all of its DLCs, too. Is this remaster a faithful recreation of everything from that version of the game? Pretty much, yeah.

I understand that a few cars were removed for the remaster. However, from what I’ve read online, the Carbon Motors E7 was removed because Carbon Motors no longer exists as a company, and the two Mercedes SLR McLarens(Mercedes McLaren 722 Edition and Mercedes McLaren Sterling Moss) due to Mercedes selling off their stake in McLaren starting back in 2009 and not completing until 2011(after the original NFS:HP 2010 release).

Disclosure: This game copy was bought by the reviewer.

I understand what I was getting into before I paid for this one, but I wanted to at least see if there was going to be any substance outside a walking simulator to the current build. All you really get is a small area to walk around in that is semi accurate from what I can tell (why in the hell is W Division St an overpass). The few available landmarks are also barely represented, which means you will be looking at distribution buildings and parking lots 80% of the time (a side effect of the condensed size). There isn’t any descriptions for the locations either, so I couldn’t really call this a walking tour. This just feels like an ambitious project that claims to have a completed landscape with proper building designs, but until I can see a better representation of the final product, I can’t really recommend it.

Waxworks: Curse of the Ancestors

Waxworks: Curse of the Ancestors

Time for an actualized review, since the game evolved and got way bigger :-)

Waxworks: Curse Of The Ancestors is in Early Access for a year and some months now and despite some Corona related hickups, development has been going steady and progressing very well. The game is a love letter to the original, the soundtrack has been recreated in a very high quality and even improved. You can feel the nods to the Amiga version, but it still has it’s own unique character. Graphics are good, while you can’t expect crispy, sharp 4K textures in a small Indie game, it doesn’t need to hide from other modern indie titles.

I played the original and this remake perfectly captured the fear of Waxworks classic! This game made me jump in a way that I haven’t experienced since I first played Amnesia: the Dark Descent!
