Fear Protocol: Codename Omega Starring Agent Jack Banger

Fear Protocol: Codename Omega Starring Agent Jack Banger

This game allows you to kill all your allies as soon as you see them, which means it already has more freedom than anything Bethesda has ever made. You often get stuck on small objects that barely seem like they collide with your character but this just means the collision is better than anything Bethesda has released. The player character seems pretty slow at first and can’t sprint but that just means this is better than the new Halo. I downloaded this as a joke and unironically had an enjoyable experience. If you like movies that are “so bad they’re good” this game would definitely be worth a play.

Game is terrible, it’s womanizing, I can’t stab woman, there’s story (ew), and my biggest gripe is some idiot comparing this trash to the masterpiece that is Gachi Revenge, To that idiotic reviewer, this game cannot be compared to that masterpiece. Gachi Revenge is the best game on steam and I can’t believe you even compare this GARBAGE to it.

Moral of the story, I can’t stab woman.

I enjoyed this game though I was unable to pick up all of the red rings for some odd reason and I got to a point where I didnt know where to go, it was cute though, just difficult to control but that’s just me, I’m not a real gamer haha.

Super Dungeon Maker ⚒ - Fink’s Awakening (Prologue)

Super Dungeon Maker ⚒ - Fink’s Awakening (Prologue)

I have been playing this game an absolute TON.

If you drew dungeons on graph paper when you were younger, this is for you.

If you’re a fan of top down dungeon games, you’re going to be right at home with this game.

It controls similarly to Mario Maker in the dungeon create mode (recommend keyboard and mouse for that) and the gameplay is really smooth. I do recommend using a controller for playing the levels themselves though, need that controller nostalgia… need to get a classic USB controller just to give me a bit more of that feel, y’know?

I love the game. This is a dungeon creator for a zelda-like gaming experience. If you like to create dungeons and let your friends and strangers on the internet run it, then you’ll be happy with this. For a free version it comes with a lot of tools to create dungeons. Right now there are bombs, a grappling hook, a jumping feather, a shield and fins available to use. Also you can create switch riddles and also a lot of fun stuff. I did a dungeon who you just need bombs for bomb jumps and it is fun.

Quantum Legend - VR Experience

Quantum Legend - VR Experience

A cool VR showcase of robots and mechs, with a playable level thrown in, which is let down by poor locomotion. I do recommend it though, as the robots in the showcase are awesome and HUGE, and the playable level is still worth having a look. Definitely a game to keep an eye on, and I’m looking forward to the official playable demo when it drops.

Here’s a video showing the scale of things and some combat. Cheers.

Quantum Legend - VR Experience is a Free Demo for some other VR game the dev was making. It worked on my new system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok, was understandable. On your monitor you have a launcher to pick resolution and press enter. In the Setting lobby you are facing a menu board, with four choices, click on the arrows of the Bottom choice to change to English then to launch to main menu, VR Experience is a series of 360 scenes that you can just watch where you stand.

Starting the Survival mode, you have to very little time to figure out things. Holding Grip on the Left controller brings up the Rifle with a Scope, this gun is what you need to survive. Shoot the man shaped droids at range and quickly move underneath the huge mecha. Teleport is the left thumb pad, turning movement is right thumb pad. Keep under the body of the huge mecha, if you move around too far from the body, it will shoot you dead. I don’t think you can hurt the huge mecha. Keep shooting the humanoid droids that enter the arena from a door. The pistol on the right at your leg is useless in this mode, no aiming point.

Great F2P game, very good game feel and enjoyable from start to finish.

Only 3 levels, counting the tutorial, but they are long and complex, with multiple choices to increase replayability.

The boss is really hard, but doable, and after only 2 tries I’ve beat the game. I’ll wait for more levels and options, but I’ll keep playing to increase my highscore!!!

OLD REVIEW:

They deny you! They deny you! Not one of them. Not one of them!

So, I found that this game was free a long time ago (guess it’s only been about a year and a half) and decided to hunt achievements in it. Of course, there was a problem…it’s an early access game with very little explained on what to do or what’s going on.

Freakshow 2 is a possible sequel to…another game that does not appear to be on Steam. So if there’s some sort of knowledge between projects, I’m completely unaware of it. You move from room to room and monitor your asthma before you die while you solve light puzzles. Big problem with moving around, however, is that several rooms have the same background…so if you’re in the main hall, it will look exactly like your bedroom. Trust the map more than your own eyes to have a better understanding on where you are. Fortunately, if you’re an achievement hunter, a guide exists courtesy of the developer. Of course, after a year of being in Early Access and with the presence of a guide from the developer, it appears that development on this project has stopped. Whether it will become a finished product or will remain what it is appears to be unknown.

Friend ReQuest - A Playable Teaser

Friend ReQuest - A Playable Teaser

Most of the game is pretty boring, so as to show how dull this person’s life really is. However, that doesn’t exactly make it enjoyable to play, and there’s barely any story for the first half of the game. Then, for the second half, there’s more story, but less to do in general.

I also have a habit of pressing esc to check my stats/ pause the game, and that exits this game. There is no save function, so I had to restart. They do tell you that there is no save function at the beginning of the game though.

I’m sooooo excited for Amity Chain and this really sold it! Amity feels so real and all her conversations are so fleshed out I’m really looking forward to seeing more from her and other characters. Really neat spritework that I’m also excited to see more of!

Tip: stick around at the “end” of the game when the screen goes white!
