I’m Christian now.

Don’t play this game. It’s not good. It’s bad.

I actually beat it, take my word for it. I have lost 3 hours of my life. I will not get them back. Not now, not ever.

Amen.

The story is set in a dystopic world. Our main character is a journalist that, hate the “President” when he gives a controversial speech. She calls him an idiot and gets arrested. She is then given a chance for a better place if she can complete the contest alive. The contest is made through several stages, each stage has traps and challenges similar to ones in old platformer games. The player must memorize the patterns to complete levels. The game is hard according to testers thus we didn’t add any difficulty settings for now. In the game, some levels have timers and extra challenges. For example, if the player misses all shots, they need to restart the level.

Paladin Dream

Paladin Dream

Paladin Dream is a turn based RPG in the style of all the old favorite classics. You play as a Paladin going on a journey to find out the meaning of a dream he has been having repeatedly over the years. He leaves the abbey where he has spent his entire life and heads out to find the reason for his dream.

The game was made with RPG Maker, which I know, can leave you questioning how good it really is. But Paladin Dream is a pleasant surprise. With about five hours of gameplay and original music composed by the creator, Paladin Dream stands out where many RPG Maker games may leave you wonderful what the heck you just spent money on.

The tag for this game absolutely should have contained RPG Maker. Seemed decent on the surface with story and game play.

Not really my cup of tea, seems extremely short and balance is jacked up. I beat the game, and here is a quick summary:

  • decent music, don’t know if it is from rpg maker or they made it

-decent design (art) , don’t know if it is from rpg maker or they made it

Very short game, beat in about 4 hours

-half of that was probably grinding to try to overcome the balance

-level 15 cap

Touhou Luna Nights

Touhou Luna Nights

You’re a knife throwing maid who can stop time and slow time and it’s awesome. Slowing time constantly and weaving through Patchouli’s almost unavoidable attack patterns just now was seriously some of the most fun I’ve had in a game since I was a kid. I haven’t even beaten it yet, but my feeling is this game is a solid 10/10. Boss fights are really quite fun. Marissa’s was great too. Regular enemies range from super easy to somewhat difficult and sometimes enemies or traps will be immune to time shenanigans. There are some neat time puzzles involving fluid dynamics too, but I think where the game really shines is the boss fights and the time mechanic. You can also heal a little bit by getting very close to enemies or their projectiles, so it encourages a high risk play style that feels great when you pull it off. The art style and music are good too. Great game.

A beautiful Metroidvania game. The music is incredible, the scenery is gorgeous, and the gameplay is fast paced. Even if you’re not a metroidvania fan, I feel that you could play this and enjoy it nevertheless.

The theme of religion has been flagging up for me as of late and I sure hope it’s not a sign from above… The only other similarly themed horror game that I’ve reviewed was Lucius but that was about inflicting pain being inspired by the Omen films. It would be fine, had it not Intersect with another sub-genre I had NO prior experience at all (ZILCH)- FMV games! Hold for shock… I have come across many on Steam, but not once did I see the appeal behind them- if I wanted to watch something…you know where I’m going with this!?

So i kinda had a idea about the tree. And the dog is fantastic, doberman is cool. Story was amazing too, the tiger scene absolutely cool. So yeah i recommend this game completely.
