DNA Farm

DNA Farm

Very interesting game, the description says it all, clearly…but it runs well and feels fun! I keep saying it in these reviews, but I mean it…the price is a little too steep..this could be fun for a lot of people but…if they won’t spend 11 bucks, maybe the won’t see how good it is, anyways..just my thoughts. Not a bad game at all!

The Last Taxi

The Last Taxi

When a fatally wounded member of an anti-technology cult leaves you with what appears to be an undocumented infant, you’re thrust into a dark network of secrets – unravelling a conspiracy that could shake Progress Point to its core.

The Last Taxi is a narrative-driven adventure game set in Progress Point, a politically and economically-divided sprawling metropolis that has fully embraced automation and human modification, creating a satirical and somberly-surreal vision of the future.

As the last human driver, you’ll meet a diverse cast of passengers, each with their own tailored conversations. Be drawn into morally challenging decisions that lead you into the heart of a dying society.

Narrative Gameplay:

As a taxi driver, your job is to keep passengers comfortable, happy and generous.

Or not?

How you interact with passengers is up to you! With varied dialogue choices and multiple endings, you can choose to keep the tips rolling in or spend all your time insulting them.

But keep in mind, gaining their trust and listening to their problems is a lucrative side business. As per Progress Point’s governmental regulations, all taxis are fitted with sleek, handy, and mandatory listening devices – for uhh… quality assurance.

If your passenger expresses something that isn’t quite above board, you can quietly report it to the authorities for some side cash. Choosing to let some shady business go unnoticed does have its perks, though. And with over 80 diverse characters to chat with, you’ll see all kinds traveling the city.

The World:

In the future, you got what you asked for – Flying cars! Unlimited time for hobbies! And the ultimate hybridization of human and machine! Or was it just flying cars you wanted…

Regardless, life in Progress Point is going pretty great. As the only standing city, we survived environmental and economic collapse because no one from the past changed their small, but destructive habits.

Status quo reigned and we’re the societal afterbirth, filled with various factions that believe in one kooky thing or another, like free will.

Oh, but that makes it sound so bleak. Really, there is a bright side.

No one needs to work anymore! The brunt of the workforce has been given to automatons …Well, unless you personally didn’t harbor a vault of cash before the collapse. If you’re one of the unlucky ones, you’ll still need to find some way to make an income, pay the bills, and find your niche in a world run by automation. As a human, you’ll just have to be creative and think outside the processor.

Features:

• Earn tips by navigating through 80 treacherous, quirky, and haunting choice-driven passenger conversations.

• Aid and abet criminal passengers, help them reconsider their actions, or report them to the authorities.

• Upgrade your taxi with new tools allowing for hijacking cargo, hacking toll booths, enhanced customer experience and more!

• Maximize fares by managing malfunctioning equipment, avoiding environmental hazards, and keeping your passengers comfortable.

• Experience a rich and detailed world of technological headquarters, mountaintop temples, sunken metropolises and pirate-infested underworlds.

• 10 hours of gameplay with 20+ unique choice-driven endings.

This game is good.

Being the first one, ( I think, ) to ever play this other then maybe testers, and the first one to possibly buy it,

I’m only 4 chapters in so far.

While, it is a bit painfully short, I really like it.

The art style might be deceiving and make people discouraged to buy it, but in my opinion, I like it. It makes it more unique, and I reccomend it.

It has a earthbound like battle system, mixed with some other games, and it also reminded me of other things like UNDERTALE, OMORI, etc.

The game is a visual novel based off one of my book series I titled the same as the game. Jaden & Jasmine.

Well one day he decides to not just sit class being bored but decides to go get a drink of water. While doing so Jaden doesn’t realized that he’s being watched by someone.

Anyways while getting a drink of water Jaden comes across the principal of his high school, Principal Karen. Throughout the Game you’ll find out the Jaden himself always wanted to be the principal of his school. He achieve this with the help of his friend Jasmine Miles

Better than most modern movies!

At first, the story seems cliche but will intrigue you the more you learn.

Choices shape your journey and allow for multiple play-throughs in return.

Exciting, scary and silly, all in one.

It’ll take you at least 5 hours before you’re done.

Off to find more secrets, I go.

There is much more of the plot, I need to know.

But there is one final note, for me to leave.

A grade of 7/10, this piece of art will receive.

And a word of advice, as you choose who will live or die.

Good:

Very fun with friends. Your choices can affect each other’s characters and you can mess around a lot.

Voice acting was well done.

The graphics look pretty.

There is a lot of action.

Bad:

The game isn’t scary.

Quick time events don’t do anything most of the time, and failing them doesn’t affect the outcome of the scene. When this is noticed you are unimmersed.

Some dialogue choices aren’t well enough presented so you pick what initially sounds good, but then the character says something completely different than you intended.

Red Brick Hotel

Red Brick Hotel

Absolute trash, as you’d expect from your typical lazy 12 year old kid who got the almighty GameGuru software for his birthday! And if this trash was actually made by an adult, then that adult needs to be locked up for trying to SCAM Steam users for $17 USD. Unreal.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1nnlTt3-5U

Another GameGuru trash game clogging up Steam, and another M.I.S.S. video on you channel. ..Some things never change.

NOT RECOMMENDED. This game isn’t even worth a quarter, much less $16.99 USD. Absurd.

Game Guru continues to be the worst development program.

This game is notable in that it has NPCs.

The enemies shoot through walls and the ever present heartbeat of game guru continues to be annoying as hell.

Definitely avoid this.

Pros - Comedic Dialogue and Art

Cons - Very repetitive, Illusion of Choice

There seems to be an Illusion of Choice. Even when faced in situations where it is possible to ‘die’. I never found a situation that forced player death on me. No game over, no restart from level 1. There also were many times where the game allowed me to make purchases I didn’t have gold for, and instead left me with a negative gold value.

Another lack luster portion of the game is the risk and reward card game, may have just been my RNG but in the full time I spent playing I never had any ‘Huge Success’ outcomes and had several ‘Huge Failure’ outcomes. Personally, it might be nice to see the hero with two stats which could develop over the course of the adventure. One for combat, one for non-combat instead of using a card based minigame.

A Very Bad Christmas Eve

It has cozy Christmas atmosphere. Something about the music reminds me of Harry Potter. The challenges are fun and I enjoyed playing the game. It was perfect for Sunday afternoon.

Actually I like this game very much. I absolutely love the visuals and their details, the Christmas atmosphere. The music is amazing. The falling snow. It gives me a dreamy, cozy, Christmas mood. The gameplay is challenging and fun. Totally recommend it, has nothing in common with all of the seasonal bullsh*t games.
