Thugs Law

It has some potential but it need some works to have less abrupt movements especially in melee. Also the enemies are dumb and wait for you like as a stone which hurts the immersion.

Village Defender

Village Defender

Lucky me has the dubious honour of writing the first review for Village Defender. Which makes me wonder if asset flippers are having problems manipulating this stuff with the usual VAC banned accounts they like to use for fake reviews.

Village Defender is a “template flip”, that is to say, it’s a “game” that has been produced by copying a game template from GameMaker Studio, changing a few things, then dumping the barely functional “product” on Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. In this case it was a GameMaker Studio template for doing a simple 2D retro pixel wave survival brawler, with asset flipped sprites and tiles.

Daenerys Miracle

Daenerys Miracle

Very simple and cheap game, kill waves after wave of monsters while completing secondary objective. Sadly the endless mode only uses 1 map and 1 mob type. For what it worth, it is pretty good.

This game is incredible. Had me hooked from the choose your character screen. Absolutely worth full price, incredible music and looks beautiful with the graphics on ultra. Contains hours of exciting gameplay and can be quite challenging at times but that just makes it more fun. 10/10 would recommend.

The game is terribly optimized it literally crashed on me multiple times. Every 30 seconds to 3 minutes of play you’re in a minute long load screen… It seems like the creator forgot to delete his saves, because after crashing after getting through some levels I loaded the most recent and it took me to pretty much the end of the game. I think the environment looks really cool, but the game plays pretty terribly… I kinda feel bad that they spent 3 years on it and it ended up being pretty bad, but it is what it is.

Introduction

Starting the game was a bit weird as it booted in ‘small fullscreen’ with your mouse being shifted so I had to use the alt+enter trick to force it out of fullscreen and back into actual fullscreen again. Also check if your first kill achievement triggers. Mine didn’t so I had to reboot and replay the ‘story’

Shotgun Witch is a charming bullet hell style arena shooter in which you play as a witch wielding a shotgun to get her spellbook back from the baddies.

When asking the question of “What is the best video game?” there are many things to consider. Is it graphics? Is it skill? Is it story? Is it gameplay? Many a masterfully crafted game falls into more than one of these categories. For example: the DOOM series. Doom was revolutionary with not only varied mechanics, but mechanics never before seen in gaming. Superhot has a well made and downright mesmerizing core mechanic that everything else stems from, as well as a beautifully tragic tale. Minecraft draws you in with its prospect of creativity and keeps you there with its sentimentality. But none of these games have managed to reach pure perfection in gaming.

What a strange little indie game that has a tonne of potential… if it can be given care until final release, that is.

Man I have to say… Getting some Babo Violent 2 vibes hear haha😎*_*

Operation: Boom Slang! has quite a fast pace to it, witch i really enjoy! It has a lot of action and strategy, you are constantly on the move with tones of kick ass explosions surrounding you where you go, as well as shweet game play, I do love the fact of timing your shots just right in games, and the fact that they included the ability to dash really makes you feel like you can seriously kick some butt. There is definitely a great balance between weapons and ability, having that said, I feel like the Rifle could use a bit of an upgrade (like maybe shoot a bit faster).

PolyClassic: Wild

This is not a classic shooter, but there is clearly something interesting in it. Although at first it was very difficult for me to pass even the first level.

It turned out to be quite a complex action game. I’m sure that this kind of hardcore will put off some players. I, on the other hand, liked the game, both the graphics and its simplicity. PolyClassic: Wild is a good time-killer, I recommend it to those who like high complexity in games.
