The Falconeer
Alright, here’s the dealio, I saw this game before it was released and was instantly enamored by open world flying and dog fighting mechanics (something I’ve dabbled in before and liked). I followed it very closely until it released and bought it almost immediately when it was available. At first I used a controller to play the game, unsure if keyboard and mouse worked (my preferred method), it was a bit wonky and the controls took some time to get used to. While the game says its not keyboard and mouse supported I play it keyboard and mouse anyway, my fingers are not suited for basic controller controls so when it can be keyboard and mouse that is my go to any and every time regardless if its made for it or not. Using my preferred control system does increase my enjoy-ability to play the game (because duh I can actually PLAY the game this way).

Above the clouds, freedom must be boundless… or not, as The Falconeer shows us. Our falcon makes it only just above the clouds. Most of the time we fly either very close to the ground or at cloud height, but not much higher. That makes sense, because it’s damn cold up there and the oxygen is a bit scarce.

A Very Bad Christmas Eve
It has cozy Christmas atmosphere. Something about the music reminds me of Harry Potter. The challenges are fun and I enjoyed playing the game. It was perfect for Sunday afternoon.

Actually I like this game very much. I absolutely love the visuals and their details, the Christmas atmosphere. The music is amazing. The falling snow. It gives me a dreamy, cozy, Christmas mood. The gameplay is challenging and fun. Totally recommend it, has nothing in common with all of the seasonal bullsh*t games.

Altarays
a great experience vr but unfortunately no hieroglyph so and quasi no statues so we have not really the impression to be in egypt but the special effects are great
i recommand but a little short with too empty temple (quasi no statues and no hieroglyph)

‘Altarays’ is a 5 minute slightly interactive experience that sees you touching some woman’s head, being transported to ancient Egypt and sitting down while dark ghosts surround you and a snake comes to say hello. What? Do you want more than that for £5.99? Tough, because that is all there is. Even if this…”experience” was free I would be struggling to recommend it, but given the £5.99 price tag, it makes things a little easier for me. Avoid this, it’s crap, pointless and vastly overpriced.

Apocalyptic Adventure: Episode 1
A Gem, yet to be Found
As the store page states it, this game is made by a small team and is designated as an early access title. But early access is not the right word for what we got here so far. Think about Apocalyptic Adventure: Episode 1 as an advanced Demo of what this series might can become in the near future. The coremechanics are already fleshed out, the menu and backpack system is on a good way, Your inventory, which can be grabbed from your back, works as you place it in the world intuitively. Especially while crafting weapons and tools at one of the many workbenches, you get a feeling for the intuitive “grabbing in the bag” to get your resourcess. In addition to the backpack storage on your back for big things, the player got a small pouch on the lef hip in which utility items, like stones, bombs and ammo can be stored and quickly acessed. To get rid of the infected hordes which come at you as you progress threw the map, the player mostly relies on melee combat. While beeing able to use your fists to push the infected away, the game tells you quite early that the use of tools, handcrafted weapons and traps are the way to go against the undead. Handgun combat is also part of the game, while ammo is always low and it is meant as the last devestating defence in the most tragic situations.

Aripi
🔥Very good but very short
It’s not a game. Stop by our steam group (info below) and I can explain more. It’s basically a 360 degree 3D story. It requires zero controller/mouse/keyboard to play. It’s maybe 10 minutes long, and very polished. I would have loved it if it was a full game of sorts, or just a bit of interaction.

Horrible, 10 minutes of animation that is ok-ish, not worth 3.99 Pounds. I get that it is in memory of a friend, but there is no use to put it with such a price, not to say that it doesn’t even explain much, it’s bad. Don’t buy.

The main plot takes place around the nine dragons river, more commonly called Mekong, and makes us discover the culture, the myths and the legends of this region.
The first episode focuses on the disappearance of Ava’s childhood friend, a young French woman named Julia who works for NGO in Paris.
After finishing her one-year humanitarian mission in Laos and before returning to France, Julia decides to take a few days off and explore the area but disappears under mysterious circumstances.
The player follows Ava’s adventure searching for her friend. Julia was last seen nearby the border of Cambodia and Laos looking for the Great Temple of the Earth. This trip will lead Ava on a mythological and cultural journey during which she will explore old and forgotten sanctuaries and discover through ancestral scrolls, called Takut, the story of a Buddha.
To enter the Temple, our character will have to avoid traps and solve riddles in order to collect and gather fragments of perfection called jhāna.
The Legend says said that six jhāna form a pāramī and give its bearer strange powers.
Possessing six pāramī would allow the possessor to invoke the goddess Phra Mae Thorani, guardian of the Great Temple…
