• Huge open world adventure for you to explore

• Several side missions

• Character design is unforgettable

• Main story is breathtaking, the ending impacted my view on the world forever

• Unskippable cutscenes (not that you’d want to)

• Price is a little high for my liking, but forgivable due to the stunning gameplay and features inside

A truly immaculate creation. Visuals are great, world creation is marvelous. Allows you to create your own original character straight from the Peppa Pig franchise. It makes you feel like you really are a part of the Peppa Pig universe. Makes other games like Sekiro : Shadows Die Twice pitiful. Could be considered a GOTY contender.

It’s okay like a mobile game but that’s all it is. The Flappy Bird like swim mechanics combined with the combo linking spin attacks you are obligated to do so you won’t die that will send you to your death all while listening to a song that is short and repetitive is some of the reasons I can’t recommend this. There are better cheap games on steam and this one just seems to have mechanics that are against you.

Woah Dave!

Woah Dave!

Every criticism I read about the game feels deeply unfair. Look at a game like the original Mario Bros, or Ms. Pac Man, or Centipede or Tetris. Sit there and tell me with a straight face that those are “simple” or that they “lack depth”. It is possible to find brilliance and depth within elegant simplicity; we see that in modern titles like Minecraft and Downwell and Molemen Must Die! just to name a few. And you will find that elegant simplicity here as well.

In the swamp of games that is available in today’s market it could be very easy to dismiss this game quickly as a turd, after seeing it’s admittedly crude graphics. And I could even see a person becoming disenchanted due to the lack of obvious game instructions - it’s left to the player and yet it’s all there to be taken-in and easily deduced if you are observant.

It’s good, but it feels like the endless mode to an awesome game that doesn’t exist.

This is an entry in the “elimination platformer” genre, a genre that has been dead for over a decade. Back in the days of the arcade and early home console, this type of game was one of the supreme rulers, including classics like Bubble Bobble, Balloon Fight, TumblePop, Joust, and Mario Bros., just to name a few.

However, when you think about all those classic games, they always had “waves” or “levels”, but Woah Dave! Just throws you into one long level that progressively gets harder. Eggs and Skulls drop randomly from the sky, and you can throw skulls at eggs to produce coins, or you can let the eggs hatch into monsters. If you leave the monsters alive, they will turn into three progressively harder enemies the longer they are left alive, each which yields more coins when killed. Sometimes a UFO will appear to mess with platforms if it’s not killed fast enough, and sometimes a “Woah block” will appear that can clear the screen of all enemies. And that’s all there is to the game. No special items, no multipliers, no different levels with different platform structures, no surprising new bosses or enemies. Just survive for as long as possible and collect coins for a high score. I feel like a lot of people are going to play this for ten minutes and then forget about it.

Defence War

Defence War

This is one of the best tower defence games I have ever played! It’s a ton of fun and each map offers different challenges. It’s beautifully made and the visuals are really striking! I really love the look of this game! There’s a story mode which eases you into the game and then an online arcade mode which gives it a competitive component which I love! I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves a good strategy based game.

Total Madness

Total Madness

Nothing interesting

Total Madness is a typical vertical shooter, where our main goal is to kill enemies.

There are two modes in the game. In the first one our goal is to get the key to get to the next level. Of course, apart from getting the key we have to kill all enemies on the map. There are 10 short levels with different types of enemies and with the boss on the last level.

The second mode is survival mode, in which we have to defend ourselves against waves of enemies until death.

Barbarian Brawl

its an online only game with no server to connect thru.

Only need say 1 thing to show how great this game is:

100% achivements in under 3 hours.

Rest of the game time (8.1h) was just to score the All time high Top rank 2015-03-08

EDIT: Game had been abandoned nearly since launch but it is now LITERALLY unplayable as servers are down and there is no option for individual players to create listen or dedicated servers. This game should probably be removed from sale.

Diamo XL

Diamo XL

Diamo XL is yet another fun game from nickervision, definitely worth it

I’ve been looking forward to this game the moment the images used in the description of the steam store page got uploaded on the dev’s account, now the question is: was it worth waiting for?

  • the games starts simple and gets progressively harder

  • the main game is really easy to understand, leaving the entire focus game up to you mastering it, which is exactly what this game was striving for

Diamo XL is an amazing creation by Nickervision Studios that has kept me enticed for the short period of time that I have owned it, and I presume that it will continue to do so for many more hours to come.

Essentially, Diamo XL is a game in which you try to create the outline of a diamond, moving your ball along the path from line to line. Once you have traced all the outlines you will get more points which are, points. No description needed because I assume that everyone knows what a point is. After you have been moving for a bit, you’ll notice the amount of points you get exponentially increases. This is dependant on the multiplier. You earn a higher multiplier by constantly moving around the diamond and staying alive.

If that’s the sort of game you like, then yay for you, but be aware of the nasty bugs, such as “oh a spike can kill you from the under (or the side, or anywhere if that matter, what are spikes after all beside something which is 360° deadly right ?).

I had more “fuck that game” moment than yay moment, that’s why if you hesitate, run away, even if it’s given for free.

TIRELESS: Prepare For The Adrenaline

TIRELESS is a Fast-Paced Sci-fi 3D Platformer Game where you get to pilot a training pacer, a specially crafted machine of incredible agility, and make your way through a deadly set of levels to prove your worth of entering the intergalactic championship in space known as the TIRELESS Tournament.

Every year somewhere far in the galaxy the championship begins. Thousands of contestants sign up and try their best to win the title of a legendary speedster, but only the one with the greatest skill can win.

A platformer with a focus on platforming. The game doesn’t drift from what it is.

Each level of the game is crafted and designed to impress. Everything in the game is stylized and aesthetic.

The game revolves around challenging levels that push the boundaries and uncover one’s true skill.

Dozens of tracks created to immerse and keep things epic.

The game features a customization menu that allows players to change the colors of their pacer, you can switch between the 2 pacers, Blur & Haste when inside your lobby.

Levels are separated into stages, although levels differ in design, stages aim to have a brand new impact on the look of the game, keeping the visuals fresh at all times. All levels are handcrafted and made intending to challenge the players through progressive difficulty.

The game will feature a full level selection of completed levels, your passing times will be displayed above them and you can replay them to further improve your ranks.

If you prefer playing games on a gamepad, worry not, for the game has full controller support.

The game will feature full translation in several languages. Currently Russian and Croatian are fully localized.

Currently, the game features a voice-acted tutorial guide and has several voice lines throughout the game.

Are you ready to put your skills to the test? Prepare to challenge yourself with TIRELESS.

TIRELESS: Prepare For The Adrenaline on Steam

Rough sketchings, nothing Fancy,

an Action Figure collects notes scattered through various stages while escaping his prison.

Not as simple as it seems.

Physic, Memory and especially Finger Nimbleness.

Trial and Error till you can understand the way out of the stage.

The base game is doable,

but the Retry of above 300+ levels can be ridiculously tedious,

not many will ‘have’ the patience and ‘can’ continue.

And seriously doubt few can really complete the game.

So very often while playing, I felt the developer had gone the extreme in creating this puzzle platform game.

In Turner Bean Boy Games don’t really attempt anything that hasn’t been done before. However, the results of their game are a well executed gem has a price that screams bargain.

What is Turner?

Turner is a 2D puzzle platformer. The game is set in an an asylum with the player being inserted into the role of Turner. Turner has led a troubled past and an unstable mind. Why else would he be in an asylum? There are two movement mechanics in the game. The first is your basic set of left, right and jump. The second is a rotating/turning system. This second system rotates or turns the entire level in either clockwise or anti-clockwise direction - it’s your call. You will need to quickly learn and become skillful with both mechanics as they are equally essential to complete the game. They have been well designed and work as expected.
