ESPRESSO REVIEW
Not a meditative, relaxing game as I assumed, but more a good reflex dodge em up with great rotational labyrinths to escape from. The remaining impression of rotating, expanding and collapsing levels will stick with you after you are done.
PROS
Intricate mazes to figure out
Monochromatic layout is a gorgeous modern art experience
Not as easy as you would expect
Music is a very nice low key electronic soundtrack that is well composed

Follow me, says the game with a chime.
A week ago, I received an email from Expand developer Chris Johnson inviting me to play the game ahead of release. Since it was a game I was already interested in, I jumped at the opportunity.
Chris describes the game as a “meditative exploration through shifting circular labyrinths”. It is a game that I find hard to frame my thoughts on - Chris' words are certainly accurate, but the game has another quality to it that’s a little more difficult to define.

Color Soul: Memories
The game was actually pretty fun and in some case, emotinal. Despite being small, it does deserves respect
(i edited out the problem that this game had)

A nice, fun little game! There are three areas (clans) and each of them have their own plot and style of gameplay to complete the tasks (fighting, puzzle solving, etc.). It’s a little short (around an hour-ish) but you’ll be invested pretty much the entire time in that hour and the game definitely has its charm.

Ticket
Don’t let the initial presentation fool you - this is an incredibly creative 2D platformer with unique visuals and an outstanding soundtrack. My first playthrough, I constantly found myself saying “the next level couldn’t get any weirder than this” only for the game to do just that.
The only caveat is that some levels are a bit obtuse and frustrating to figure out without a guide - but that’s something you can find easily enough.

Ticket is the product that challenges your preconceived notions of what games are about. It is certain that the so-called seriously taken game reviewers would not be able to give acclaim to this game, as it does not follow the conventional rules of high quality game design. This tells about the sad state of gaming industry rather than about Ticket though. If you are the person who thinks that good games follow strict rulesets of certain design-economic and mathematically measured criteria and are usually some sports titles followed by a running year number or the latest installment of a well-established series, then Ticket might not be for you.

qrth-phyl
qrth-phyl falls in the class of games like Lumines or Space Invaders Extreme that offer simple, familiar mechanics, carefully tuned and immaculately presented. It’s a love letter to snake-like arcade games, with easter-egg tributes to the genre’s innovators. You alternate between snaking around the outside of rectangles or rectangular prisms and free-movement 3D snaking inside those prisms. The idea of 3D snake worried me initially, seeming like a potential camera disaster, but the implementation is rock solid and I haven’t had a death that didn’t feel like my fault. Playing well increases “corruption,” which increases the difficulty of the proc-gen levels but offers more dots and a higher chance of encountering the treasured blue dots, which turn your tail into dots for you to consume like Pac-Man CE:DX’s satisfying ghost trains. The dynamic difficulty system persists between runs, and it feels like one of the best such systems I’ve encountered, quickly dialing in a consistently engaging level of challenge.

I absolutely love this game. The aesthetics are working great for the retro-arcade style. The controls are responsive and the game is challenging. Also the hidden sequence adds yet another dimension to the game (pun not intended).
I got this game years ago on IndieGameStand. That store doesn’t operate anymore and I had the only .exe file I managed to download before they went out of business. And here we are, qrth-phyl finally safely in my steam library.
I’m looking forward for future updates. Maybe VR support could be nice?

Cuccchi
Really a beautiful exploration and discovery game of interactive art pieces. Just passed level three in the game and was blown away, being there inside these imaginary places and wanting to discover what was happening and what was just out of sight. The music is soo good and really helps with the travel into the paintings and by setting the mood. Exploration is so rewarding.

I would not enjoy Enzo Cucchi’s art by itself, and I did not know who Enzo is before I played this game, I’ve seen a lot of similar works by artists with similar career paths and I am not a fan. ‘Fine art’ as it would be called. But Cuccchi is not just a gallery, it isn’t just a resource for an artist, although it is also that, it is a game in of itself which the gallery part excluded is mostly original, it honestly would have a chance of qualifying as transformative fair use if it wasn’t made with the blessing of the creator (which I’m like 79% sure it is).

Limiter!
This is a very good puzzler with a great OST .
Sadly this one goes in the buried gems category, it is always sad to see a quality game like this not getting more attention.
The game has some very smartly designed and tricky levels, more then enough content, most of the game is medium difficulty but there are harder levels and for me they are a highlight of this game.
This game is pure quality in every aspect and worth every cent.

The movement is intuitive enough for you to work backwards - so you can get ideas as to what needs to be done without the entire puzzle being spoiled. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a ~10 hour ish puzzle game.

Super Orb Collector is a 2D puzzle game were the movement precision and patience counts a lot. In this game the player needs to collect all the orbs to make the exit portal to appear, and then he can travel to the next level. A really nice idea is if the player did a mistake, a new orb will spawn and collected orbs will remain collected, so, the player can continue like nothing happened.

Lost Dream
First, there was WORK TRIP. A short and simple Game in a colourfull World. Lighthearted and chilling with a nice Music. And so was the second Game HIKE. It was like that, too, but it added an Exciting Atmosphere.
Now we have the third Game of Morning Shift Studios.
Welcome to LOST DREAM.
At first,LOST DREAMS seems to be inspired by THE FIRST TREE, it feels like a Bow to it.
In both Games we have a wonderfull World, nice Piano Music and a Fox on the Search.
And i like it.

I love this game, though it honestly is tiny. It only took me thirty five minute to unlock all the achievements and play through the game twice. And the second time I was poking around, having fun. You play as a fox who is off to rescue his vixen. In your search you’ll travel across several colorful levels, jumping, swimming, and figuring out a puzzle.
I enjoyed it, but if you are expecting the scope or storyline on The First Tree, you might be disappointed. You are a fox, complete with cute little fox paws and swishy tail. The swimming and running animations are cute, and there are nice details like falling leaves.

NERVE
As an avid Thumper player, this game checks all of my boxes.
-dark atmosphere
-killer soundtrack, heavy drums
-high speed, high intensity
-high skill ceiling
The game makes use of all of its mechanics, all of the time. So even though you are encouraged to go fast, there are points where you can’t always be turbo-ing. USE THE BRAKES!
Solid game, and I’m only on world 4. 10/10
EDIT:
After completing the game, I have to recommend it even more.
And the devs are receptive to feedback and are improving the game! There were several unfun issues with a few objects and hitboxes, which have been patched, making this an even better speed game.

RUS:

Obstacles - short casual game - cookie cutter = This is probably a game for children. Some of their other titles are more interesting. Felt like another cookie cutter game with 100 levels.
