Vector Prospector

Vector Prospector

A very fun and replayable roguelite. This is one of the only games I’ve played in the past year that I actually wanted to get back into and play again!

The randomly generated levels give a new experience each time, and all the different enemies have their own interesting way of dealing with them.

I do think the gameplay has a few flaws in the balancing, particularly with the powerups, but overall it doesn’t impede the fun too much.

A perfect blend of action combat, exploration and strategy in an incredibly simple package. This is one of the best examples of how a few basic ingredients can be combined to create a brilliant dish. Overall outstanding design and solid execution. GG!

One Way To Exit 2

One Way To Exit 2

Move forward or backward in search of an exit, but remember: if you start moving, you will not be able to stop.

Take bonuses, destroy obstacles and bosses, but in no case touch them or the walls, otherwise you will have to start from the beginning.

  • 20 levels (new ones will be added after early access)

  • Various bonuses that change your capabilities

  • Controls: WASD / Arrows

Someone is helped by luck to complete this game, someone - reaction speed, someone - prayer.

And yes, if you’ve ever had epileptic seizures, please don’t play it.

Free Solo: One Life

It’s honestly impressive how such a (forgive this) boring concept can be so enamoring, i spent 35 minutes on a single level and it did NOT feel that long. Worth it, but wish it was possible to change the display colors as the very plain colors get somewhat painful after a while. Even just a slider would be nice but god that orange gets painful after around 15 minutes.

One More Line

One More Line

This nice game follows the known pattern - easy to learn, hard to master!

It presents a great colorful main screen and even at a first glance it seems all quite well-made for being a indie game.

It also features a customization section and multiplayer, which is always nice if they’re playable and well-realized.

The core of the game is a one-button, fast-paced action timing game: you’ll play in a vertical scenario as a colorful line and you’ll come across lots of different objects - you’ll have to hold space in order to link to them, and they’ll make you endlessly run into a circle orbit around them.

This is a fairly fun game which would normally get my positive recommendation if it wasn’t for some game breaking bug/issues

It’s a simple one-button game, an endless runner. where you keep moving forwards, try to avoid obstacles and stay in the main path by clinging on to these obstacles, rotating around them until you release the button which will propel you towards the desired direction.

The graphics are simplistic and charming with a few choices for the main “blob”, music is fitting if not a little repetitive after a while and the whole production/programming is spot on, but for the next couple of issues..

Skyward Descent

A really compelling game, I started it up to see what the deal was and immediately lost half an hour to it.

The game is very easy to pick up and play, and for the most part the gameplay is easy to understand. There are a few things that are frustrating to me playing this game, though.

After defeating a boss, if you haven’t taken any damage, you get an option to shuffle around some of your stats. I’ve gotten options like “+30 HP & -30 HP” multiple times, which is incredibly frustrating because it makes one of your options useless. There is another power up called “Lucky Items” that is supposed to give you more stat boosts in the game, but I never noticed any difference when I got it.

Buyer beware. This is barely worth calling a game. There are no levels, just clicking shapes to remove them as they spawn over time. If too many build up, you lose. There is no progression. The same few shapes spawn randomly until you get bored and quit/lose. The shapes consist of: A small sphere you can click any time. A box that gives -1 point when red, +1 point when orange, and cycles colors every few seconds. A cylinder that switches between grey (unclickable) and orange. A rectangle that starts with between 1 and 9 health randomly, that you must click down to zero to dismiss. These shapes spawn every second or two and bounce around the screen. You click them. That is it. That is the entire game.

Perfect game to warm up my aim. My score was 463 after a couple of tries and it was a lot more challenging then i thought it was. Took a lot of focus and hardcore hand endurance, my right hand can’t move and I typed this all with my left hand.8/10

SOK MIN

SOK MIN

A very minimalistic version of Sokoban

but for a game of Sokoban you don’t need fancy graphics at all.

It’s very enjoyable and the levels are on the easier side as sokoban goes, that doesn’t mean you don’t have to think though.

Not as good as the old PC Classic, but still a great game, and one of the few sokoban expiriences you can get on steam

If like sokoban, then you will like this game. 100 levels that need a lot of thinking to finiish. A must-have for every puzzle lover.

P.S. Consider taking the SOK package. It contains SOK and SOK MAX.

Super Orb Collector is a 2D puzzle game were the movement precision and patience counts a lot. In this game the player needs to collect all the orbs to make the exit portal to appear, and then he can travel to the next level. A really nice idea is if the player did a mistake, a new orb will spawn and collected orbs will remain collected, so, the player can continue like nothing happened.
