This game made my question my sanity.

To most people, you probably wouldn’t enjoy it. It’s a joke game that is a really long walking simulator. The jokes are a bit bland–but I did find myself laughing at two different points. Pimp My Shadow is one of two highlights I enjoyed from it, and the second being the Truth ending. I had actually played through this game before, but that was before it got achievements. I played through it again to get them…but it’s so slow and boring that I can’t be bothered to get the last two secret achievements.

Pink Gum

Pink Gum

Pink Gum is a very short journey through a life as told by chewing gum bubbles. I pondered how to sum this game up in a sentence, and I guess that’s the best I could do. Not great, really.

I think its one of those things that no matter what I might say, you could go, hmm, sounds interesting, but when you actually see it, it will make perfect sense. Which begs the question “Why am I even writing about it then?”

Because I think Pink Gum is well worth checking out. For the small amount of time and money you spend, you get a visually appealing, thought provoking experience. I’m also pretty sure that my opinion isn’t enough to persuade you, so here are some quotes about the game from famous people.

Pink Gum is a short but powerful experience that tells us about birth, life and death from a unique point of view.

I really recommend this game to everyone.

pretty cool game, especially cause 2 of my favorite games are earthbound and LSD dream emulator

One thing I can say is please fix the issue with the tracks looping when you can. it’s very noticeable on the shorter, early tracks or tracks that are short by nature, like cutscene tracks or the title track. When it loops, its really noticeable and choppy and kind of irritating. I like almost everything else about the game though. I hope you will add a lot more and finish it someday.

EDIT: Also, I got softlocked. Its after the floor where the green faced “ryan” guy chases you, i fought ebikaron and the purple room i was poisened for a few floors, idk why if it was the demon sticker or what, but pls make it obvious how to get rid of poison. Because now I’m softlocked in the room(s) where I have 1 HP and its a forced Brock Lee fight where he says “cement? no thats concrete baby!” I went through the door to the dojo but theres nothing there besides crows, a ryan who just talks about lsd, and then the door back. you can walk through the sprite to the door back and see some sprites from sun tzu eastern mind but they dont work when you press space on them

a funny yet dissociation-inducing journey of quirky internet humor, horrifying eye imagery laced with morse code, droning tunes chopped with decades-old vocal samples, and bizarre visuals that shine like old internet and LSD dream emulator. followed by one of the nine muses, climb your way up a tower where each floor becomes more deconstructed than the last.

the story is vague, something something nirvana, something something samsara. the importance and potential philosophy of it can become lost in the witty comments about the bone zone and the vague images of a man-fish wearing a “women want me fish fear me” hat. but it’s supposed to be bizarre. you’re climbing, because everyone climbs the tower.

Autumn

Autumn

═══════════════════════════════════

Overview:

To start off Autumn has an AMAZING concept, and a very interesting take on spirituality within a game. With that being said, this game has a lot that needs to be improved on.

The concept I really liked, which is what nudged me to purchase this game. As a big fan of nature, not really the spiritual side of things, it seemed to be a enjoyable time-waster. But I was wrong. The game is not optimised whatsoever and it feels as if you’re lagging half of the time with slow animation and movements. The tutorial does not teach you much at all, it’s just a couple of signs which refer to things within the game that I had yet to learn or see. I actually referred to the only Steam guide for this game which helped me actually understand this game completely. Kudos to that Steam user!

Everyone seems frustrated about the puzzles… For me, I have never been a fan of sliding puzzles either. To be honest, I really disliked them (good thing they are optional!). But this game made me want to give them another try so I started from an easy-ish looking one. And you know what? The satisfaction from solving it is enormous! :D

Overall, the game is really slow paced but relaxing. The music is very soothing and I love the visuals - everything looks like a watercolor painting. Actually, it is more of an experience than a game (but a very pleasant experience) and should be approached as such.

Tree Simulator 2022

Firstly, I would like to preface this review with this:

To all the other reviewers out there giving this game a positive rating, trying to make funny jokes about how good the gameplay is, they’re just trying to farm points. If you look at their playtime, most of them have less than an hour! You cannot truly experience the greatness of this game in a few minutes, an hour, or even 10. I have only just scratched the surface with my 100 hours, so I will be making constant updates as I play this game

This game saved my life.

I am 25.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and adopted our son together. They are now both 4 years old.

When we were going through our separation, I found myself lost and miserable. I was self destructive. I got so mad one day from everything spiraling out of my control that I punched some concrete in a moment of overwhelming emotion. That caused me to break my 5th metacarpal in my right hand… my working hand… my games hand.. the hand that I held and carried my children to bed with.. The hand I desperately needed to make sure I could continue to provide.

Zen Chess: Mate in Two

Zen Chess: Mate in Two

Like Mate in One, except you have two moves to checkmate. Relaxing and a little more challenging than the first, otherwise the exact same layout. Some tips to keep you from frustration: You won’t put the king in check on your first move every board, but you will 80% or more of the time. Also, you will be sacrificing your queen on the first move quite a bit, so if you can’t figure out the solution, try killing your queen!

Real player with 164.9 hrs in game

The game contains 150 chess puzzles and the objective of the game is to… you guessed it - mate in two moves. The simplistic UI is identical to the first game in the series: Zen Chess: Mate in One and the high quality of the game is very similar. The only flaw of this title is that the game requires you to find out the single solution the developer wants you to follow. In multiple solution levels only one is the desired one.

Balls Royale

Balls Royale

Day one review (to be updated).

The game has a few bugs and errors but over all I find it fantastic! The gameplay shown in the videos and screenshots is exactly what you’re getting so I won’t go into detail about it. These are my main takeaways after almost 2 hrs of gameplay:

1. The power-up which shrinks the size of the others paddles, or whatever they’re called, is terrible. When it is active you have no chance whatsoever to dogde balls coming from the sides so if a ball comes in a steep angle you instantly loose.

So there were these two games, Pong and Breakout. This game, Balls Royale, is kind of a combination of the two. And in my short time playing thus far, is pretty feckin rad. Problem is, it needs more people. What kind of people? People who don’t mind spending two dollars for some fun. Because trust me, it’s fun.

The matches don’t last long, the chat is pretty lively and fun, and the Developer, Enigmum, pops into matches when not chatting with the folks playing. There are a few unlocks for ball color, bar color, etc, but nothing extravagant. No, it’s all about the gameplay. Granted, it’s one of those “I’ll jam out on it for a half hour or so” kinds of games, but that “half hour or so” is gonna be pretty feckin fun.

Very interesting game.

Unless you are good at remembering everything I suggest you take notes as you may get lost in some levels.

It is quite intriguing exploring a woman’s sexuality like this and I do recommend picking this up and trying it out.

My only 2 gripes with the game are:

1. There is no in game sound settings as it is rather loud.

2. There doesn’t seem to be a way to see which cards you have viewed or not when it comes to the view all cards achievement.

Interesting concept. I liked progressing through the story and learning more about the games different plots. Thought-provoking and brings a new experience to your steam library. For the price, it was incredible!!

klocki

klocki

Just. Add. Water.

Klocki is without a shadow of a doubt one of the biggest bargains on Steam right now. It also happens to be one of the most intuitive, well designed and almost flawless puzzle games on Steam. The sheer brilliance of the game cannot be underestimated. It may appear simple and that’s because it is but it will have you engrossed from beginning to end.

Highlights

The highlights of the game are its intuitiveness, accessibility, the design of the puzzles and the color palette.

klocki, On MetaCritic, it shows it was developed by Megabyte Bomb. Released on the PC platform on Jul 13, 2016 and is also available on Iphone,Ipad. There are no user reviews yet as of this writing. (http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/klocki) .

On steam page, it shows klocki was developed by Maciej Targoni and Wojciech Wasiak. The same people who brought us Hook. klocki is also available on Linux.

To say klocki is just “a puzzle game” - it is a unjust description on this product.

For me, I would describe klocki as creative, innotive puzzle game. Because it introduces mechanics/multiple combination of methods to solve a puzzle. This is what makes klocki interesting & fresh. It stand’s out from the rest of the other puzzle genre games.
