EPONYMOUS
DISCLAIMER: This is a first impressions review, and NOT a full review
EPONYMOUS is a game developed and published by Minor Key Games
The game offers some nice graphics, although some ugly glitches here and there, it is pleasant all the same
The game does suffer with some repetitiveness at certain areas of the game but a fun game nonetheless
EPONYMOUS overall, however, is a fun game to play, yet sometimes repetitive and it does get boring and tedious if being played for a long time, but is a great little horror game to play in short bursts!

Not really sure what or even if there was a story or message, but as a visual experience I enjoyed this. Plenty of options for sound controls fov to make it a comfortable experience and really let you get lost in the game for a bit. Levels aren’t too confusing, but the dialog is. Maybe it’s because I haven’t put in the time to read the footnoted content in the credits before playing to understand the placement of quotes and such, or maybe it’s just simply meant to be confusing as part of the experience. Also Found a potato so that was the most rewarding thing I got from this game lol. I appreciated the potato. I played through it a second time to look at the things I missed which was nothing major, just a few quotes as far as I can tell. Anyways, it’s cheap, takes a few minutes give it a try if the screenshots look appealing to you.

It’s a neat little adventure game with a strong Y2K internet aesthetic. The pages are fun to look at and the puzzles are all pretty intuitive. Had a fun time. It’s free so the length is in it’s favor as well. Good job!

Finders, Keepers tells a tale through unconventional means; tips left by users of the fyndr/keepr dating app hint at a tragic tale, strange profiles lead to hidden clues, landmarks hold a mysterious history. SINGULARITY WORLD
Nice and challenging game. I suggest adding a menu access while in the game.

I personally liked the game on its inspirations of Limbo, Inside, The Mist, & Silent Hill. I liked the puzzles, but the last two levels before the boss battle were quite long for a short game. I’m impressed to see that this game was made specifically by one person, & translated by another. I feel there might not be enough spawn checkpoints for the last two puzzles as having to run with such a big map takes a long time. The one extra checkpoint you get in the testing facility with the sentry guns is the elevator. When it comes to the tram level, it takes a very long time for the main tram to get to your character, but I felt the speed of the other trams was fair to solve the puzzle. This isn’t to say I didn’t like the vast set pieces. Seeing that on the bridge genuinely startled me. This proof of concept is well done & I genuinely want this developer to experiment more. P.S the ragdolling was hilarious & also some of the issues I had were fixed in some of the patches.

Daardoa
This game is the definition of helplessness. From the start, you are thrown into an eerily empty world filled with nothing but trees and impossible architecture. No one to hold your hand, just an ominous message subtly hinting you towards your goal. The game is oddly calming yet incredibly tense at the same time, which made it difficult for me to put a pin in any feeling in particular, making the experience much more frightening. The fear of the unknown is real in this game.
From a technical standpoint, the game runs smooth as butter. There’s a creepy glow and shine on the textures, and the graphics are really crisp. The overall gameplay loop is simplistic enough to understand rather quickly, but the game turns things around and takes the bit of familiarity you gain with your surroundings and completely throws it away, rendering you almost petrified to move into the dark. The sound design is superb, with low ambient drones and rumbles filling the environment, leading to scraping, horrifying sounds as you encounter enemies.

If you enjoy Vidas Games, then this is something you’ll like. If you don’t know who this is, then you may feel different. What I enjoy is the world you are place in. This includes the atmosphere present and the story shown. I enjoyed the environment, but the story felt like “Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time”. You walked a good two minutes to reach either end of the map in order to collect a total of three “Ancients”. Each had their own housing area with a jumpscare attack present. I would be fine with this if dying wasn’t so punishing. There is no save and you have to start from the beginning if you died at any moment. Dying extending my gameplay three times what it was meant to be. It’s scary to be chased and at times the area is unsettling, but that is it. It’s an okay game, but it has you walking a lot with the threat of starting over.

Door2:Key
Door2:Key was a pretty fun game. To my surprise there was a few places I found myself scratching my head and running in circles for a key or a puzzle you think, oh these are the same, and nope back to the start with you. Which can cause frustration to those solving it themselves, or the early players as there was no guide.
Only negative was not being able to disable background music. At the time I played the Audio options didn’t seem to do anything. After spending a few days last week running around Chapter 4 I wanted nothing more than to disable background music but nope. ‘Mute’ didn’t even do anything but it’s something the developer may fix after seeing this.

cat notebook
Like a walk through a museum, you move through art and the art moves you. Nobody can tell you how it should make you feel. But maybe by the end of the experience, the ordeal, you’ll leave the museum a stronger person. That is the beauty of Cat Notebook; there is no wrong way to play, no wrong way to go. At the end of it all is an audiovisual experience that changes you for the better, or for the worse. For those seeking deep introspection, you’ve come to the right place.

I’m not sure how to approach reviewing this game(?), so I suppose I’ll just see how my experience stacks up to the list of features in the description.
“• explore a cat notebook”
I definitely did that, so, check that one off.
“• many unique illustrations to look at and songs to listen to”
To be precise, there are 97 unique illustrations, and 97 songs to go along with each one. Accurate enough so far.
“• do cat-like things”
You can move around. You can meow, sleep, and sit. Seems pretty cat-like.

Fibrillation HD
It’s been a few years since a game has reminded me of the stunning brutalist architecture, jaw-dropping scale, and haunting atmosphere of NaissanceE like Fibrillation HD has done here. What’s more, there is genuine horror here with some standout moments involving skeletons, skull-snakes, and Aztec-blockhead giants. The game’s short length of about 2 hours actually does it a big favour over NaissanceE where there’s a lot of variety and memorability in setting and level ideas over 18 levels rather than any one thing you’re doing overstaying its welcome.

Introduction
You don’t see remastered versions for purely abstract games very often. The Void was a pleasant exception and now I can add Fibrillation HD to that prestigious list. You see, I’m a big fan of games that hide details and ideas in plain sight. Titles that are both creative and puzzling at the same time. It’s even more enticing when you realize that both the original and the HD versions of Fibrillation are the skilled efforts of a single individual, Egor Rezenov.
