A Museum of Self & Space
A Museum of Self and Space should be a reminder of not only the beauty we can bring into the world, but how cruel that beauty can be.
A museum about our inner demons and how they’re reflected in the world around us. A Museum of Self & Space is a first person narrative game where you will explore a surreal museum of about a failed architect. It is about life, love, success, and the lack of all three. Explore a house that won’t stop changing, a collapsing apartment, and avoid eye contact in a locker room.
In A Museum of Self & Space you will interact with narrative vignettes each with their own novel mechanic, while learning about the life of Jules, the fictitious creator of A Museum of Self & Space.

The game was very cool and taught me about whats going on in the world. The use of visual metaphor and game play to convey the idea of a world that is working against you is pretty cool. This may just be pondering in my part, but the female and male models stacked in top of each other to convey that you are in-between is pretty smart and it’s embarrassing to say that it took me awhile to get it.
Great game with great mechanical and visual story telling. Hope everyone stays safe and has a great pride.

The character walks around backwards is that on purpose like a homage to OoT speed run? (That would be cool but …) As for the story I could not figure it out so I stopped reading and explored. Interesting game but have no idea what’s going on. The secret room was cool tho.

What’s Your Gender?
This is a lovely, wholesome, informative and short game about gender identity.
The player walks through some kind of museum or art exhibition. As you explore, you come across various terms related to gender identity and expression. From time to time, a pleasant voice will ask questions, like: How do I know what gender I am? Or: What makes me feel euphoric? There is a room, where you can try out different pronouns for youself to experience how you feel when they are used for you.
I recommend playing this game. It’s sweet, fun, wholesome… but also, I recommend forwarding it for educational purposes. I think you can safely recommend it to your friends and family. To people who might have mentioned they’d like to learn more about gender identity.

I’m a genderqueer YouTuber and I highly approve of this game!! This is an amazing first-person experience exploring gender, gender expression, and sexuality. The concepts are really interesting, definitions are clear, and overall the space makes you feel the experience. I played this on my channel, DaintyTank, for Trans Awareness Week as this game is a perfect way to get an introduction to different concepts in gender.
Definitely think it’s worth spending the $2 to support the developers and for you to play this yourself! You can see my playthrough below but this game is much more impactful to play yourself. Love you all and your feelings are valid!

The Endless Empty
TL;DR: This game is excellent. Please please give it a shot. It really clicked with me. Content Warning for the game for
! violence, sort of gore/unsettling imagery, eyes, teeth, arachnids, death
I think this is one of the most important games I played to me. The surreal and uncanny to slightly disturbing imagery here is perfect at communicating the themes of the unknown, of dying and not having a clue what will happen. I get really existential at times and I worry about death and non-existence a lot. I think this game’s given me the closure to what I’ve felt in the past by validating it by putting it into words. Well, picture form mostly, the abstract nature of what this game tackles is only something that can be materialised in images.

I deliberated a lot about how to write a review for this game that wouldn’t be inadvertently telling others how to experience it, but what I’m able to share at that point becomes very limited, so I will just reflect on what I took away from it and leave the rest up to the prospective player to discover for themselves.
The Endless Empty is a short game, but it is beautiful in its own discordant way. It has a story to tell and it will tell it on its own time. Exactly what that story is can change slightly depending on the choices made by the player, and so it’s able to contextualize itself slightly through said player’s expectations. Even being about the death of a character with a defined history, it strives to connect the player to the questions being posed on a personal level, and it definitely succeeded in doing so for me. The levels and the characters that represent the frames of mind being traveled through express many observations about the world the body has had to live within, and many of these observations may be readily recognizable as the sort most if not everyone has wondered about at some time in their own lives. If nothing else, the way the game manages to put on full-display those perceptions that often come with a sense of isolation and self-uniqueness also serves to highlight just how companionable the struggle being discussed really is, and there’s a special kind of heartbreak that comes along with this realization the closer the player gets to the end.

A Chamber of Stars
Each person has a universe inside of them.
A personal universe with characters influenced by the observable reality around them. Your friends, the fans, the local shop clerk, each person you pass without giving pause is another universe. You make up a story about them, they form a story about you. The universes expand.
I always wonder how similar our universes can be. You and I. Will I ever be able to pierce through and present myself, my real self, or will the information be lost in translation? The thing rattling around in our heads can’t be all that different. We both still get choked up over the same melodies, it’s only human to do so, right?
Maybe, if you would like it, I could play something for you. Lord knows your songs are still rattling around in my head.
The singularly named Starr, an enigmatic performer, guitarist and songwriter, has somehow survived the constant shifting tide of the musical landscape. Decade after decade, this artist has remained relevant in culture’s eye. After multiple personas, genre manipulations and controversies, the public is still buzzing. “What will Starr do next?” The rumors say their upcoming album will be the fated magnum opus…
A Chamber of Stars is the sequel to 2018’s The Endless Empty. Through six unique worlds the life of the rock n’ roll hero, Starr, will be pieced together. Exploration, choices and performances will change the course of a life and will alter the songs that are produced. A Chamber of Stars will feature a mix of classic adventure games, puzzle solving and unique rhythm game performances all within a fully realized surrealist universe.
Nothing heavenly or divine; just filthy mortal music here.
Unmemory
Unusual game - reminiscent of the old text-based games we used to play. A little frustrating at times, trying to work out how to move forward. Worthwhile if you like adventure games and fancy something with a different interface.

Fun puzzle game with a nice multisensory story telling emphasis. I have to say though that the process of garnering the “materials” for the puzzle can be somewhat frustrating; for example the KLF puzzle requires something that is fairly obscure to find just to get started. The puzzles themselves, once you have all the materials needed, are alright at straightforward difficulty (hints are really optional), although I am particularly impressed by the last puzzle, the Dancers Numbers, the solution of which (the only I looked up online) really blew my mind for the cleverness. (as aside, I was too taken up with the thought that the dancers might be instructing a sequence about how the button ought to be pressed; which is quite tempting, but this is not nearly as clever as the official solution). Overall it is a great game

Yuha’s Nightmares
Yuha’s Nightmares
This is a simulation game about the nightmares that our main character Yuha suffers from. The primary goal of the player is to explore the surrealistic world that is full of strange things and unexpected events. The deeper part of Yua’s consciousness is depicted through the «flip side» of the 3d world. You will frequently get stuck in textures, see through mesh and wander around at every level in «inappropriate» places. The glitches in the game are accordingly integrated to make for an intense and exciting gameplay experience. «Yuha’s Nightmares» is a balanced combination of thriller, drama and comedy.
Who is Yuha?
Yuha is the virtual counterpart of the game developer Yuliya Kozhemyako. Yuha creates games, takes part in modern art exhibitions and feminist movements but does have some bad habits. Her body and form sometimes look like a polygon mesh and change textures.
Episode one: The Catastrophe
In this episode, Yuha is in a hurry to collect all her belongings so as to leave her crumbling house. Perhaps, her house is not the only thing getting destroyed, but rather the whole world? Even so what if there is a safe and secure place somewhere out there?
