LEGO® Builder’s Journey

LEGO® Builder’s Journey

Super well made and beautiful graphics. Honestly its a great game to sit down and play if you have the time for it; its about 3 hours tops even if you aren’t the best with puzzle games it shouldn’t be too difficult but it is very satisfying how you could possibly solve puzzles in different ways. 100% recommend

Boulders: Puzzle

Boulders: Puzzle

For the time being I can recommend this game with some reservation.

As for the concept: you start with a cube (the light green one), which you must connect with other cubes (the dark green ones) to create chains. These chains you need to build up and move around until you reach the yellow goal cube. In some levels you’ll meet cubes of two other colors: purple and red. If one of your cubes touches the red cube, it goes ‘poof’ and vanishes and you lose. If one of your cubes touches a purple cube, it turns to ‘stone’ and becomes unmovable - useful if you have a chain that you want to break apart, but dangerous if you have only one cube (if this one cube becomes unmovable you lose, of course).

boulders: puzzle is a very basic cube-rolling game. the point is to make the player’s cube reach the goal cube, and the trick is that they’re not always on the same level. what can a simple cube do in such a predicament? well, it can grow longer by sticking its buddies to itself. no other formation is possible, and connections can be broken up if need be.

ABRISS - build to destroy

ABRISS - build to destroy

ABRISS is an atmospheric physics-destruction building game.

Build structures from parts to let them crash into your targets. Unlock new parts, destroy more, witness entropy at its worst in digital-brutalist cityscapes. Build to destroy.

BUILD

Choose from parts with different weights, forms and functions to build a structure.

Thruster + Connector + Bomb? You just built a rocket.

Thruster + Rotator + Laser? You just built a rotating laser rocket.

Pillar + Connector + Ultra Heavy Cube? That’s a giant hammer.

Be creative and resourceful with the parts you get, try to destroy the target with less parts or in a more elegant way – it’s going to be a spectacle any way you do it.

DESTROY

Try to hit the main targets to win a level in campaign mode. Destroy an armored wall first so you can then shoot through the hole into the vulnerable center. Try to hit a bomb in the environment. Use environment mechanics like the giant Pistons to catapult Ultra Heavy Cubes into a target. Or just throw everything you have at your targets – that might just work too.

  • COMPLEX DESTRUCTION SYSTEM

Simulated statics, thousands of little particles of debris, whole chunks of targets flying into the abyss – with little to no framerate spikes.

  • CAMPAIGN

Five worlds with seven stages each, every stage a hand-crafted destructible cityscape. You will start each stage with a limited set of parts and you will need to find a strategy on how to use them to destroy all main target blocks. You will unlock new parts the further you progress, and every world comes with it’s own special environmental mechanic. You can always return to a stage to try to destroy a higher percentage of it, or do it in less moves.

  • SANDBOX

Try out new patterns of building stuff. Play around with parts you haven’t unlocked yet. Try to fry

your GPU with 1000 Lasers at once.

  • PHOTO MODE

Take a free camera flying to get the best composition. Freeze or slow down time to get the perfect shot of the destruction you just caused. Apply filters to change the vibe of your photography. Export in wonderfully sharp 4k jpegs. Share them with us!

  • TURNAROUND GIF CAM

Create your own perfectly looping turnarounds of the mayhem you cause!

Chess Knights: High Noon

Chess Knights: High Noon

Incredible game!! This is definitely the most fun game in the Chess Knights series! I love western movies and this game has the perfect western vibe! In the other games, you could only survive, escapingfrom the enemies, but now you are a badass gunslinger and you only advance if you eliminate all enemies on the level! The puzzle continues with the same quality from Minimol games, but now we have the addition of Duel mode, which forces you to think and act very fast, just like in a real duel! I can’t wait for the full release!

I really like the games in the Chess Knights series. When I saw this game announced with this theme I confess that I found it unusual.

Well, what I can say is that this game just became my new favorite in the series.

In addition to the game being beautiful like the others, and counting very well elaborated puzzles (ranging from the simplest ones that present the mechanics, to the most challenging ones), the theme was very well implemented, including the duel, which is very well incorporated gameplay dynamics in a way I didn’t imagine for a game inspired by chess.
