Cuccchi
Really a beautiful exploration and discovery game of interactive art pieces. Just passed level three in the game and was blown away, being there inside these imaginary places and wanting to discover what was happening and what was just out of sight. The music is soo good and really helps with the travel into the paintings and by setting the mood. Exploration is so rewarding.

I would not enjoy Enzo Cucchi’s art by itself, and I did not know who Enzo is before I played this game, I’ve seen a lot of similar works by artists with similar career paths and I am not a fan. ‘Fine art’ as it would be called. But Cuccchi is not just a gallery, it isn’t just a resource for an artist, although it is also that, it is a game in of itself which the gallery part excluded is mostly original, it honestly would have a chance of qualifying as transformative fair use if it wasn’t made with the blessing of the creator (which I’m like 79% sure it is).

Impresja
Works also on Linux if you install Steam for Windows on Wine.
“Simply” Outstanding. This Game defines the term “computer game”. A non violent adventure in unique surroundings. Excellent atmosphere and design. I didn’t read too many reviews about it, wanting to experience the game on my own, and it really is worth it. Very calming and entertaining, as one tries to get anywhere really, but it’s not that easy😉😍🤩💖

I feel on the fence about this game. In the end, i can’t say i recommend this game. here is why :
movement speed = way too slow. many of the puzzles have you running from point A to B over and over. even figuring out what to do was made tedious by what became the slow casual walk.
if there was an option to make the move speed much faster the game would have been much better.
the level design and pace was all over the place.
almost as if the scaling for how hard the puzzles should be was out of order.

MirrorMoon EP
OK, I bought this game a couple days ago and started by putting a couple hours on it. I made it through Side A (basically the tutorial) and visited a few stars in Side B (the main game). If I had written the review at that point it would have been a fairly negative one. The next day I decided to have another go at it before writing a bad review. My intent was to only play an hour or so… I ended up spending basically the whole day and logged about eight more hours on it, lol. Needless to say, MirrorMoon had really grown on me and I had slowly fallen in love with this game.

So far, this game looks like it’s going to be one of my favorite games of all time. However, I cannot say that it’s perfect or spectacular without a lot of bias. This game happens to have just about everything I love in a game, so of course I really, REALLY like it, but it is not without faults.
The reason why I like this game so much probably has to do with my favorite attributes to have in a video game. They would be: exploration, puzzles, atmosphere, huge size (why I like games that use procedural generation so much, which this game has) and space.

The Catacombs of Solaris Revisited
really nicely made trippy little toy.
But without an objective or context, $12 is pretty steep for what is essentially a fancy visualizer. It only has a couple of features that the free itch.io version doesn’t, and imo they don’t exactly warrant such a high price tag.
My advice: search for and download the original free version, and if after playing that you think “oh hell yeah I’d pay $11.99 for more of THIS”, then by all means go ahead. (I did for what that’s worth.) But without further updates, a point to it all, or a lower price, I can’t recommend everyone or anyone buy it.

I do think that the price is a bit high for a game where you just walk around and look at weird stuff, but the way this game is made is very cool, and very trippy, and jhbakjbAIjhy8qwuyowqghbwqbgukqwyhbqgwkuyhgbqhqbhqwbA AN HA AHN AH aH hah a ha baH ja jna

cat notebook
Like a walk through a museum, you move through art and the art moves you. Nobody can tell you how it should make you feel. But maybe by the end of the experience, the ordeal, you’ll leave the museum a stronger person. That is the beauty of Cat Notebook; there is no wrong way to play, no wrong way to go. At the end of it all is an audiovisual experience that changes you for the better, or for the worse. For those seeking deep introspection, you’ve come to the right place.

I’m not sure how to approach reviewing this game(?), so I suppose I’ll just see how my experience stacks up to the list of features in the description.
“• explore a cat notebook”
I definitely did that, so, check that one off.
“• many unique illustrations to look at and songs to listen to”
To be precise, there are 97 unique illustrations, and 97 songs to go along with each one. Accurate enough so far.
“• do cat-like things”
You can move around. You can meow, sleep, and sit. Seems pretty cat-like.

This is the least interesting of the three Oubey VR experiences. You just fly above a world real quick and it repeats. The other two had tinges of interactivity that made them much better.

Red and White
Red and White combines metroidvania-style exploration with puzzle elements and an abstract art style.
Explore a vast world and restore to it the colors it once used to have. Each time a color is restored, the walls that used to be of that color will act differently, and with clever use of them, you’ll be able to reach new areas you couldn’t previously.
stikir
I saw the post on r/pixelart, and decided to try out this game for myself. It’s well worth the money and time spent playing through this wonderful game. The artstyle is beautiful and immersive, despite lacking detail. The story and characters are crazy and zany, and the soundtrack is very good. However, my two biggest praises for this game are 1) the level designs, and 2) the control scheme.
The levels teach you everything you need to know without tutorials or instructions. You learn as you go, the game teaching you concepts and obstacles casually before raising the difficulty. The boss levels are also well-done, with easy to understand yet challenging battles. I thoroughly enjoyed platforming my way through the various kinds of levels and mazes.

‘stikir’ is the sequel to the game ‘Indecision.’ and has the sort of stuff from Indecision that I enjoyed. Although is shares a lot of aspects of its predecessor, it is far from being the same game.
A big difference between Stikir and Indecision is that Stikir is not a jumble of seemingly random levels, it actually almost has a coherent story! We have a protagonist. We follow them trying to make a video game, while various things get in their way. Productivity is always hard, especially when it’s such a big project, so it’s not surprising that even making a simple cup of coffee, itself, can become a big adventure.

Hypnagogia 無限の夢 Boundless Dreams
Everything about this was spot-on for me, and I was impressed at how it plays across the entire spectrum of aesthetic and tone without feeling like a mess. A game like this could have felt like a collection of demos, but instead it feels like a well-engineered rollercoaster that is at times cozy, lighthearted, and colorful, or dark, disturbing, and spooky enough that I had to take a break at one point during a segment that I wasn’t ready for.
An earlier version of this review compared the game to Broken Reality, and for certain surface-level aspects I still think it’s a fitting comparison, but as I kept playing I saw that the surface is as far as it goes. Don’t get me wrong, BR is amazing, but in the end it’s all a narrow range of a e s t h e t i c fan service, if you know what I mean. This game felt like it had the deeper soul, and I hope we can look forward to more from the developer.

really shallow, cliche and not interesting at all,,, no joke the previous hypnagogia was actually better… theres also the pointless, boring and basic platforming that at least distract you from the linearity and retardness of the worlds.. from a technical point of view was ok, the opening cutscene made me think the game was gonna be good but it totally sucked. The space level was the only good level and I wish it was 2 hours long and were the whole game (ignoring for the retard dialogues of some of the NPCs).. I don’t wanna sound rude but this was so retarded I actually suffered the last hour of the game, especially the ending level and cutscene, so pretentious, childish, dumb and cringy.. couldn’t deal with it
