Desecrators
OK, first off I was a big Descent fan and more recently a fan of Overload but it didn’t have coop. For me, I thought that was a mistake.
Then along comes Desecrators. It seems to be a cross between Forsaken mostly, and partially Descent. The graphics look cool but are somewhat retro looking. The tanks remind me of Forsaken and the rest, Descent. And best of all, it has coop!!!
The most critical aspect of a 6DoF game is the ship control. The ship control is spot on with the default settings. It feels perfect and very neutral. You can also toggle auto ship leveling. The game allows you to rebind keys and has full controller support.

Another great indie 6DOF game ! 🙂
Desecrators is really promising and already pretty damn good despite being early in development, there’s lot of potential here to create a one of it’s kind 6DOF game.
Good controls, it’s fast and responsive, really nice feeling piloting the ship with just the right amount of inertia.
The weapons are satisfying and there’s many different to use.
Desecrators also have great retro graphics style which remind me of Forsaken.
The levels are procedurally generated so we get a new experience each playthrough and that’s pretty nice !

Crawlspace
Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
You can view my gameplay & initial impressions here: https://youtu.be/-vtt2gtULcs
If you really enjoyed Emily Wants to Play and want another VR game similar to that one & you’re okay with clunky VR interactions & gameplay mechanics that need refinement, then I can recommend this game for you. Otherwise, I would say it’s a wait for a sale / wait for an update to the game.
In this game you’re crawling in the crawlspace while being chased by killer dolls. Each night brings a new threat and a different way to handle the threat. Meanwhile, you’re collecting baby dolls and bringing them back to the little girl’s room that is on lockdown for some reason until you finish the job. You have 5 nights to survive and your progress is automatically saved after each successful night.

Crawlspace is a VR escape the room game with Horror element. It worked on my HTC Vive system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. You are trapped in a house with creepy dolls. You have to crawl through the crawl space to find dolls. Very scary. The skin for your arms were odd moving. There is nodal teleport movement and grip crawl movement. Very creepy environment. You have to survive in the house for five nights, each with different rules. So i guess you have to puzzle out how to stay safe from the scary doll attacks. The textures looked ok. The VR controls were ok. Game worked out of the box. Has in-game instructions as you started out.

The Patcher: The 1st Open Beta
“The Patcher” is a full-scale tactical multi-player action VR game.
Be strong! Be ambitious!
You must choose a faction – either ‘Junkmol’ or ‘Skymagg’ – as a Patcher of the Neo JS City. By fighting numerous battles, you will obtain weapons, revamp them, and gain experience. Every weapon and skill have degree of proficiency as you play, so you’ll get stronger as you level up.
Hybrid Multi-play
Don’t forget that you’re one of the factions, even if you fight against monsters on the battlefield. Cooperate with your fellow Patchers! If you succeed in defeating a mighty monster with others, you might get a chance to obtain a rare item. However, when you come across an opponent of the other faction, it’s best to attack right away or retreat and bring in your allies. Your instant decision is critical in each battle.
Various Game Modes
The war between two factions ends only when one side ultimately falls. Get ready for the best result!
-
‘Deathmatch’: Create a party to fight the other faction.
-
‘Conquest War’: Occupy the enemy’s territories for as long as possible, by any means.
-
‘Boss Raid’: Defeat the giant boss with your party members. However, you’re not the only hunters there. Compete with the other faction for the throat of the boss.
Strategic Action Combat
Since the past, the Patchers have fought strategically with three weapons: a sword, gun, and bow. Of course, each weapon has its own characteristics, but you must find which one works best for you and become skillful at using it. The weight, reach, accuracy, and control of each weapon is vastly different and is key to your tactics.
The Storyline of “the Patcher”
_‘Neo JS City’ was once the most beautiful city, and there was a reason for it. The upper classes wanted to get rid of anything they saw as dirty and trivial. That’s why they decided to move all the unpleasant facilities – like the sewage treatment plant and the prison – underground.
Meanwhile, some people illegally and secretly settled in these underground facilities. Their habitation was called the ‘Patch Build’, and they called themselves the ‘Patchers’.
But the environment around the Patch Build was more severe than they expected. Survival got harder and harder. This caused a rupture in the community. Some said pioneering a new land for a better future was be the way to go. Others wanted to stick to the existing land and refine what they already had.
Now, you must follow one of them – and choose your fate!_

Kitchen Island VR
The core gameplay is fun, and I was having a blast right away. I am happy to change this review as dev’s have now been engaging with the community on bugs/issues. I am hoping they can solve some of the startup issues as I look forward to playing this game with friends more.

Need for sharp
You play as a cyborg specially developed as a SWAT unit. Engineers believe that you’re the best of all cyborgs ever made. You have been sent to training facility to test if it is so. You will face simulated hordes of enemies that you must destroy and show best result possible.
Need for Sharp - action, top-down shooter with dynamic gameplay. Kill enemies and earn money which could then be spent on special abilities available in the game. Upgrade your weapons and abilities as you progress through the game to reach the highest score possible. Make use of environment and develop your own strategy at staying dominant on the map for as long as possible.
Monolith
I have only really played for like an hour so far, but the game is pretty solid already. What I have seen though is promising, and I hope this game doesn’t end up like other early access nightmares.
Pros:
I only have used Mjolnir and Aegis so far, but from what I could tell they were fun. I plan to try some other stuff for my next play through.
The bosses that I seen where pretty cool.
The upgrades for the weapons mostly looked unique, it depends on how many you get per playthrough, and if they alter the way you play at all.

I’ve never really played any games like this one, newer and also less known.
However I will tell you this, after my 5 hours of in game experience (Many more to come) I can say without any doubt this game deserves a lot more attention, I actually have no idea why it’s not.
There’s really some unique and to be honest genius features that I’ve never really seen used in a game.
I highly recommend giving this game a chance, the current price is a steal, definitely worth a lot more.
I will definitely be paying attention not only to this game but also 202-N Studios.

Evasion
Excellent performance, medium lenght storyline (~4hs) excellent voice acting, audio and fun gameplay.
This game feels like it has great production value all around, the coop is very easy to host and join games (no mid level joining though)
I played this game a couple of times with my son in coop and its been a blast, the mechanics are simple, but they mix them up a bit to keep things interesting… As the enemies are robots, there is no blood and although violent, id say its family friendly.
BUT the game does feel a bit on the “simple” side, and does get a bit repetitive, in my opinion because you are forced to use the same weapon the whole level. (you choose before starting) The weapons are fun but would have loved the ability to mix it up mid level. and they are all similar, so there is no variation there.

Classic Halo-esque style combat! And it’s Co-op! Very easy to get into VR FPS shooter, think Halo meets Space Pirate Trainer. 9 Levels of Non-Stop Action that ramp up to a variety of different enemy types that require different strategies to defeat without dying (especially if you go at it alone during the last few levels!). Although the gameplay is simple, the player is rewarded for doing more than just point and shoot combat. You get health and surge/power ups by tactically using your whip to pull enemies apart. Kill them and miss a chance at a higher probability of getting a much needed health regeneration vial or that last yellow vial needed to release your powerful “Surge” attack and feel like an invulnerable bad-ass for a few moments. Took about 5 hours to complete alone, could probably finish it in 3 with a partner in Co-op mode. The only thing that could use work is adding the option to have controller directed movement, instead of only headset facing.
