Deity Empires
Short description:
DE is the most faithful (playable) successor to Master of Magic. It has some
*4x Fantasy Strategy with seperate magic and civic research
*points to spend on perks at game start
*sophisticated economy
*incremential elements like resource upgrades and unit leveling ( (which you can turn off))
*Tactical battles and Rogue like dungeon diving (simplistic Rogue Like at the moment but there is more to come)
A negative point is, that this game is complex and/but has very limited manual (and no tutorial). As I understand it, the devs wait for the big and essential updates, before they spend time on manuals. The DE community is very welcoming. The forum search function is your extended manual.

This review is from the perspective of someone who has played a significant amount of the Age of Wonders series and the Fall from Heaven 2 mod for Civ4. I’ve also dabbled in Endless Legend, Fallen Enchantress, Dominions, and Master of Magic.
Right now this game feels like a cross of Age of Wonders and FFH2, and I love it. Below are some of my thoughts:
City Development (Tall vs Wide):
Cities start weak but can become incredible powerhouses given time and investment. For example, a starting city will produce approximately 100 gold per turn, which is enough to fund a low tier army or a level 1 improvement every 5 turns. My capitol in my latest game, however, produces 4000 (!) gold a turn, and is still not yet fully developed. I basically don’t have to care about income because this city is basically El Dorado.

Galactic Crew II
A diamond in the rough to be sure!
I am giving this a thumbs up because even though it plays more like a beta, . (Oh wait, it is still in early access - MISSED THAT sorry!), I think it has the potential to be a really good game.
On the downside, there are stability issues (crashed 4 times in ~20 hours of game play), feedback mechanisms, and information on how to do even basic tasks or what abilities do are seriously lacking. Goals are vague. The NPC AIs are minimal at best. Some tasks such as mining are tortuously dull and should be more engaging. (staring at your screen for 10 minutes listening to PHooomWha…. PHooomWha…. is not fun for most people). The game lacks consistency across the board - NPC experience gains, UI functionality and design, balance, etc.

Hero Generations
Hero Generations Review
A nice little Indie Adventure lies in wait…
Some key points that this game offers:
-
Beautifully hand drawn art style.
-
Permadeath for that extra challenge.
-
City Building and upgrading.
-
Six unique worlds to find, explore and conquer each crafted in their own brilliant theme.
-
Family legacies.
Gameplay & Controls:
The controls are pretty much mouse only, using the left mouse to click where your character moves, and by moving it can be in one of four directions, up, down, left or right unless one of those paths are obstructed by the edge of a map or an immovable object.

This game is still in beta even though it is out on full release. I actually really like this game a lot. My advice is to wait 6 or more months down the line when it is really finished. Please take caution in purchasing this as the save file corrupts which will force you to delete your save and start over again.
Update:
To the developer: I respect what you as a 1 man team has done. I being someone who knows a lot about computer software/engineering know the amount of work that is required.
