Thank you! For a few years, I’ve been let down by not finding a decent Scrabble-like game. This is..pretty good. What would really improve it a lot, is if there could be a nonfamily-friendly setting; if you misspell a word, it gets thrown out & you lose your turn. That would make the game much more intense – then you actually have to know words. Still, for the price, it’s nice and much better than the free online scrabble & literati; the graphics, the choices of boards & tiles, and the music makes it much more fun. A real steal for 5 bucks.

It’s certifiably scuffed.

I’ve yet to have a game where it’s not bugged out and denied me a turn. The bots in offline play are absolute monsters that occasionally decide to skip like 4 turns in a row for no discernible reason. The dictionary has some truly ridiculous words in it and excludes many terms that are included in other dictionaries. However it’s dirt cheap for the only Scrabble variant on the platform, and it doesn’t throw a tantrum and crash when you’re in a game which is always a key factor in longer games like this.

Funanigans: Party Games

Funanigans: Party Games

This game has potential, but needs some improvements. Can’t fully recommend it just yet, but once some updates have been made I would be glad to update this review. There are definitely some good games in here. How to play’s need to be updated to be more clear on what you are doing. Every game felt like the first round was learning. More so for those where a group of people are doing something different from the rest. There also seems to be an issue with the games being dropped. Couldn’t play phonanigans with 8 people. Kept dropping the entire lobby half way through. Drawing games seem more prone to the entire lobby being dropped and a new room needing to be made. Didn’t have any issues with the text games. Really enjoy the music. Like being able to change tracks, and having the ability to kick out people. The game needs some bug fixes and a bit of polish but I think could be a worth while addition to games you can play with friends online when it gets them.

I adore this game! Thank you Eric Peterson for sharing Funanigans with the world. Phonanigans, effectively a free-form version of Telestrations, is worth the price of admission alone. Funanigans operates just like the Jackbox franchise: only the host needs to own the game and every one else joins from their phone and plays for free. A key advantage over Jackbox is the persistent lobby (room code) between games, which offers a smoother experience for host and player alike. The old-school graphics and music might be annoying for some but I honestly found them charming, and reminiscent of old-school websites.

The Ultimate Trivia Challenge

The Ultimate Trivia Challenge

While the game is fun and addicting, it is also very frustrating as some of the answers do not correspond with question. An example would be… Who was the 42nd president and it would give you multiple actresses to choose from. In the spelling catagory sometimes the answers would have the same answers. However, if you chose the right answer it would be considered wrong because you picked the “wrong” box

This game needs a serious overhaul of it’s answers.

I think this is a fun trivia game, I love the party mode and was able to stream it on Mixer without a problem. My favorite mode would have to be the sound bites. I was able to play this game for over 3 hours without getting bored or having things seem repeatitive. My friends and I laughed so hard at each others rushed wrong answers. We truly had a lot of fun playing it. The biggest issue with this game if I am to be honest is the amount of errors it has in it. Spelling, grammar, not correct options, wrong answers, etc. I think it takes away from the game a bit but in the end for $5 it’s still fun to play with friends.
