TL;DR: If you’re expecting the same gameplay fluidity as Mario Strikers then sadly the game isn’t there yet. A few minor but very important gameplay issues have to be ironed out before that happens. But that really is it and despite that, if you have friends to play with the game is still a ton of fun.
The game feel and pace mimics that of Mario Strikers very heavily while at the sametime delivering on its own twists like:
- Hypercurve - Being able to control the balls trajectory once you throw it to a certain extent

For a game that flew under my radar for about a month…. a ton of fun.
I mean, big huge heaping pile of fun.
I mean really spectacular, the sort that will make you shout when you score.
HOW IT PLAYS
It’s a 2v2 exercise - players can be human or AI, in whatever combo. (some mode limits do apply)
The object of the game is to achieve the highest score.
Fundamentally, the game plays a lot like speedball - you grab the ball, run it, pass it back and forth, and shoot it into the opponent’s goal/net; the opponents try to stop you, recapture the ball, do the same in your net; result is constant scramble.

Awesome game!
At first I was like, ‘What the hell, all you do is run around, fart and fall over’ but my daughter likes watching Pungeance on the tube, and I can’t really let her play GTA5, so we kept playing…
And wow! once you figure out how things work, learn about some unlocks and start two player (Controllers highly recommended, camera moves much better with them) the hours will fly by. Getting some unlocks feel like genuine achievements / lessons in perseverance, the LOL key and microscopes spring to mind.

We (my housemates and I) have played this game since it was on the OUYA, and missed it so much that we bought it on PC.
The Amazing Frog is a game about messing around, persistence, and discovery. If you wanted to go all literary-analysis on it, you could say that the ease with which you fall down and get back up again plays into the theme of persistence. But honestly I think the devs just thought it was funny.
The main gameplay loop is something like this. Mess around until you find something weird and new to interact with. Try lots of things with it until it unlocks something. With the new unlocks, rinse and repeat. This loop wasn’t really present in the OUYA version, and I think it’s an overall improvement that lengthens the appeal of the game and gives it an occasional magical quality. Don’t be expecting amazing discoveries though; we’re talking small stuff here. This game works best with no explanation and little to no expectations. It is exactly as dumb as it looks, with lots of fart humor and the occasional pop culture or current events reference. I think the unabashed silliness of it goes so dumb that it wraps back around to funny for us.

SpeedRunners
First off, I’m gonna say this game is really fun and is worth a buy if you’re gonna play with friends. However, if you’re going solo in this game, you might want to hear what i’m going to say.
What frustrates me as a player is the cancellation of Speedrunners as an ESL sport. This game had so much potential and would have attracted many people kids and adults alike to watch amazing professional gameplay. Though I would understand why this game had ultimately died because of a couple of reasons, one being that it has an identity crisis.

Introduction
Speedrunners is a brilliant, 2d, sidescrolling, racing game where you race against up to 3 players, locally or online in a battle of speed and wits. I used to dislike this game, until very recently when it was much less buggy and I got to understand the mechanics of the game. It is early-access, but a very good one at that. Gameplay
Your goal in speedunners, is essentially to win the race. However, there aren’t any laps, nor are there any special objectives. Instead, all of you have to do is be so far ahead of the rest of the racers, that they vanish off the screen. The race screen follows the leader, so it is key to stay close to the leader in order to stay alive. Once the opposing racers have hit the bounds of the screen, you as the leader win a round. Winning 3 rounds makes you the overall winner of the race. Sounds fairly easy? Well it would be, if this game didn’t have items or grappling hooks.

Playground Heroes
Control the children’s mood, hygiene, hunger, energy and physical health. Watch their well-being, otherwise, kids true power may manifest itself, making it difficult for everyone. However, any power can be stopped, sometimes you will have to use a fire extinguisher, and sometimes a shovel.
Invite friends to play together on the couch co-op or to play multiplayer and celebrate chaos. Each player has different skills, one is better at cooking, the other at repairing. Split tasks to provide the best daycare possible.
Take care of their needs by cooking meals and keeping them clean.
Repair broken furniture during the game and clean dirt that our little heroes leave behind.
Remember to manage their energy level which is controlled my sleeping and eating. And have fun singing or dancing.
Not only the mood of children is important, but also the condition of the house, such as damage or dirt.
Plan ahead, keep track of all stats and remember that everything might happen during the last seconds.
