10/10 do not hesitate to buy if you have people for couch co-op available. Absolutely fun with me and my girlfriend who doesn’t like games.

Basically like “who shot the sheriff/murder/wink murder” you played as a kid but with more blood.

Quick to pick up controls are easy, Likelyhood this will last for 1 - 3 hour game sesh with a large group of friends its that fun. More people the better but just 2 was great fun and all game mechanics still work with minimum amount of people.

Will be even more fun with a group likely next two weeks i will update when i have a party.

huge concept, I played it with two friends it was fun!

I will test next week with other friends.

Special mention for cutting noise, blood and dismemberment :D

Please note that there is no game mode for 1 player, you need at least 2 players

Edit : I played it again with 5 players, it was very fun thank yuo for the game

Very nice concept, extremely funny, but poor controller support. If you try to connect 2 PS controllers, game opens for 4 players and one controller works not. There is absolutely no way how to change anything about it in config.

Development is dead and it’s frustrating - the game has still huge potential.

I hurried to grab this game after seeing some gameplay footage on YouTube. After spending time with it, I’ve come away with mixed feelings. It’s a fun concept and the execution is pretty good, but the game doesn’t feel refined enough.

Pros:

[olist]

  • I am a fan of games that encourage stealthy assassin strategies, so for me, the black/white color scheme’s influence on the gameplay is a big win. It has a strangely chaotic zen feel to it, if that makes any sense.* The music is awesome.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!111

Now that I have your attention: This is a great game. Got hold of it a while back and it’s addictive as hell! You could easily make this the only game in your library and be as happy as a dog with two willies.

It’s the smashing lovechild of being the Companion Cube from Portal and a Cardboard box from Metal Gear Solid. And then arming them to the teeth so they can kill eachother is sneaky, leathal & imaginative ways.

If you’re a crappy multiplayer, get ready to rage quit. Your mates will hand your ass to you in a paper bag. But if you’re good at that kinda shizzle; turn on, boot up and jack in! These crafty crates are gon' give you and your buddies plenty of reasons to not be friends any more!

I played Fatal Error this weekend with a couple of friend… and I was surprised by the great amount of fun that this game can give. The stealth mechanism is very new in this genre and permits different style of gameplay and the three different game types give us a vast array of options.

Probably it needs maps with above-ground paths and a game mode where players have limited lifes with no crystal to capture. I think it could be more interesting with these options.

Sometimes it remembers me of an old game that I was using to play on PlayStation with friends: Blast Chamber.

Thief Town

Thief Town

Thief Town is a perfect example of a indie concept gone right. It is one of the funnest local multiplayer games for my PC. There are not that many, but Thief Town stands out. It becomes a real blast as you franticly find and kill your mates, and the other gamemodes are creative, and don’t dum-down the experience. As a nice fresh concept, it is only local multiplayer. I am fine with that, the four-kids-cramped-in-a-basement gaming sleepovers I have settle the need for others. Grab some friends, get some drinks, and start stabbing! Soundtrack not only fits, but is 8-bit dubstep. If you like getting your friends for monaco, or even a nintendo game like smash or mario party, you will LOVE this! I heard the app doesn’t work that well, but I have controllers.

This is godawfully bad and should be burned with fire. No, sorry. Fire is too good to deserve contact with this game, and frankly it’s done a lot for the human race.

It’s an 8-bit wanna be E.T. Atari cartridge ripoff. Except that the developer of E.T. had vision.

It’s 2016 and the developer thought it would be a good idea to try to recreate the early 1980’s level of video gaming. Realistically, nobody goes out and says, I want to do my job, but at a level that’s 36 years more terrible than the status quo. Apart from the developers of Thief Town!

Cutthroat

Cutthroat

Disclosure of Potential Bias: I know the developers (I grew up two houses down from one of them!) and have seen the game (and played it) since its earliest iteration (all the way back to when the devs would throw a Codefest in the dorms at our uni and we would all hang out: playing games, coding stuff, plus eating hot pockets, chips, and walmart bakery cookies; ah, college life). /waves at Ocumens developers

TLDR: Cutthroat has a low barrier to entry (controls are easy), but has a high skill cap (git gud at pattern recognition) and even a metagame (better track the amount of times a warrior Riots, or if a mage has Soul-Swapped yet, and many more things) because the game forces you to be stealthy to be successful. You can play this game with your parents (or, if you’re a parent, with your younger kids and your partner) and everyone can have fun within just a few rounds (you learn the controls very quickly).

I first noticed this game because it was very similar to a gamejam game me and a couple of friends made for GGJ 2014. If you’re interested in it, it’s called “Manhattan”.

I’m not ashamed to say, this game is a lot better than the game we made.

This game is what I would call a hidden crowd game. Basically, there is a crowd of non-player characters that look identical to the player characters, and it is the player’s task to conduct an objective without being noticed by other players. This is primarily accomplished through careful movement and crowd navigation, in order to decieve opponents into thinking that you are an NPC.

Hidden in Plain Sight

A fantastic 5 dollar game that requires you to actually have friends (I know right?) at your computer. The variety is great, and it’s a great package. Pros: Super fun, cool graphics, great soundtrack

Cons: None, except one annoying thing: IF YOU ARE GOING TO PORT A GAME FROM XBOX YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE TO HAVE 2-4 XBOX REMOTES PLUGGED IN AT ALL TIMES! What the heck dude! Heads up, it’s a PC, not an XBox. Please add support for one person on keyboard/2 people on keyboard + XBox remote support. Even games like Gang Beasts let you play 2 people on the same keyboard. This is not more complex then Gang Beasts.

I’ve played this game on Ouya and then the PC version, and everytime it was increadibly easy to get people into playing it and it was a massive amount of fun as well.

Also, Steam version improves on earlier existing PC version. This has the same customization options as on other platforms now, which I feel is a must-have addition, since I sometimes feel the need to tweak the settings the way we want to play (for example, I occasionally feel that 3 sniper shots is way too much for Catch a Thief, or I want bots to run as well in Death Race). So even if you, like me, have the previously released PC version, I would definitely recommend picking it up.

I bought the game recently, sadly I’ts impossible to start a game.

I can launch it, but cannot host a game neither in solo, remote play together, or online.

Too bad, I asked for a refund even though the game seemed fun.

I hope you guys don’t buy it to be disappointed like I am

Simple concept, really easy to understand and reminds me of the good old days of coach multiplayer games ! Just grab some friends, launch the game and have fun. Rounds are quick, always surprising and fun.

The visuals are really nice, it has this really enjoyable atmosphere. Oh and the music is perfect too !

The game is easy to play remotely with friends over Steam so that’s amazing !

I had already played the demo and lots of improvements have been made since then so… I highly recommend it !

0.1 hrs, that’s right. But I’ve seen enough. This game is lacking in every aspect, from gameplay to graphics to controls. I took one look and ran -you should do the same… for now. If the devs do something quick and I decide to give it another shot, I’ll make sure to update this review.

Getting a game started up is far more difficult that it needs to be. The UI is terrible. The controls don’t work. What a shame as this looked right up my street, but the lack of any developer activity on the discussion boards just ONE day after their game released says it all really. Such a disappointment.

Sorry guys, it’s a no from me…

Takelings House Party

Takelings House Party

Picked this up as it’s one of the few asymmetrical VR games out there. Ultimately, it’s probably the best VR game you could play with friends. The concept is genius and it’s always a fun time when you’re chasing down your friends. It’s fun to replay the levels and there’s a few items/objects to spice things up.

The major downside to this game is simply the content. There’s only 3 levels, and while they’re all fun, I wish there was many many more. This game is so good you just want there to be tons and tons of levels. It only takes maybe an hour to pretty much see all there is to this game. I’ve still got 5x that, purely on replay-ability.

Real player with 7.8 hrs in game

We’re a family of 5, ages 6+, and this game is quite a LOT of fun! Yes, it’s only got 3 levels…but to give everyone a chance to play every level in VR just once…that’s 15 rounds across 5 people! This game is NOT overpriced, and will be a family-game-night staple in our household as-is, but I WOULD NOT suggest it with fewer players - this is a PARTY game.

The kitchen level is really really good, though. The attic is really fun while the wall-breaking is really difficult. I suspect that they only get better with more players.
