Butsbal
I’ll give this a positive review since its priced right. It is not a bad game at all but needs some attention.
1. Game doesn’t have very good gamepad support. You can get through some menus with controller but you cant restart or go back to menu after a round. Also with my xbox one controller to add bots it says to use select unfortunatly select doesn’t work but.. left stick button does add bots.
2. My second complaint is a bit more major.. exiting a game once already in a match… it doesnt allow it. I think alt f4 works.

“Nice little Unity PvP game that uses some pong physics”
That name sound like someone cannot speakout “football” the right way. But it makes quite fun.
Mostly 4 players play in small arenas with or without some obstacles for the win (arena chooses randomly). It has several game modes like deathmatch, last man standing and capture the flag. You can distinguish the players by color. Each player starts with 5 shoots which will be reloaded after time. The bullets fly around unless they hit someone or each other. Ofc there are some little AI issues but they didn’t disturb me much. Also you cannot quit a match in the middle. You join the arena by space and add the bots by return. Thankfully the dev added those bots lately because practically the MP is dead. But now you can do all achievements with them. It’s an entertaining game for one or two hours.

Dispite its simplicity is the game a lot of fun and stays fun for a long time. The Map ideas are great and the character design is just gorgeous. The tiny details about the character just give the game so much life and you can tell that the creators put a lot of effort in it. I can recommend this game for everyone who loves to play with and against friends.

Kraken Smash: Volleyball
I love this game! It’s got the right amount of competitiveness to keep it fun and ongoing. If you like Lethal League, you’ll love playing this game with friends.
I’d love to see some sort of mini game for solo to act as a sort of tutorial but also something that allows a single player to enjoy the game more when playing by themselves. The bot is a little hard but I feel like it being hard really teaches you how to play and get better.
The only thing that truly bothers me is the specific, animated orange background that’s extremely distracting towards the bottom. It’s still playable, but it’s too similar to the ball color when it reaches the second hit. Other than that, I haven’t run into any other issues yet!

Last Shape Standing
Last Shape Standing is at its core a survival game where each player needs to survive through a multitude of chaotic and fun randomly selected challenges, be it bullet hell, PVP, a zombie apocalypse or even dangerous quizzes!
Playable alone or up to four players, quickly join in for a short casual game, and tweak the settings to play the way you want:
Don’t like a rule? Remove it!
Want more health or skip the rule description? Why not!
Keep playing to earn currency and survive as long a possible to unlock new rules.
Be the Last Shape Standing and show who’s best!
Simple Light Cycles
Ridiculously simple idea makes for ridiculous fun! Awesome game that deserves more traction and attention than it gets. May seem like a one trick pony, but with so many modifiers it really isn’t.

I grabbed this up on a sale thinking if it wasn’t great, it was a small loss. We added it to our party games for a group of 8 people (4 at a time, using Steam Link + Controllers).
It was a surprise favorite! Everyone loved it, and we ended up coming back to it several times after playing other games.
It’s great fun, highly recommended for any party gaming group, especially since it’s such a simple concept everyone picks it up quickly, but the skill to do those tight areas well will keep the game challenging for any group!

Crazy Otto
I’ve followed this game’s development with great interest. How is it, after more than 36 years, no one has ever tried a multiplayer PacMan? Other than a “your turn, my turn” approach….
As this game demonstrates - there are enough characters, even if you just stick to the orginal arcade titles…. PacMan, Ms. PacMan, Baby PacMan, and PacMan Jr. - and the four ghosts…. There you go - 2 teams of 4.
Well, this obviously isn’t PacMan. It’s Crazy Otto…. it’s not even the Crazy Otto that became Ms. PacMan. It’s its own thing. PacMan is well… a PacMan - and he (along with the rest of his Pac family) fight Ghosts. The old-school Crazy Otto was some sort of PacMan-like-thing with legs, and he (or it) fought ghost-like fruit-like thingies…. This game is all about Ducks and Dinosaurs.

For the uninitiated, “Crazy Otto” circa 1981 holds a special place in arcade history as the game that would eventually become Ms. Pac-man after being acquired by Bally Midway. When I first saw this appear on the upcoming releases list, I was floored. After 35 years, the “prototype” version of Ms. Pac was going to be an actual product that I could purchase and play on Steam. I couldn’t have been more excited!
Unfortunately, “2016’s Crazy Otto” as it’s being called by developer Extend Mode isn’t exactly the game I was hoping for. Yes, there are striking similarities between their version and videos/gameplay of the original that can be found on YouTube and other streaming sites. However, anyone going into this thinking they are getting the actual Crazy Otto arcade ROM from decades gone by will likely be disappointed.

Land War
This is seriously the best party game. I love that you can actually play with 8 people. Plus it’s really easy to pick up- even people who don’t play video games at all can learn fast. And with all the different levels, you can easily play for hours without getting bored. Highly recommend!

I can’t overstate my recommendation for this game if you are looking for local co-op games! Its simple, yet oddly enthralling, and even supports 8 players! Give it a look, it has more longevity than it might seem at a glance
Critiques:
-
a level editor is sorely missed as a way to increase longevity
-
the menus themselves feel somewhat bad to use, and the options menu doesn’t seem to save when the game is closed (possibly a bug?)

Batu Ta Batu
batu ta batu would be a pretty cool matching game, not your typical match-3 variety, but mostly broken controls make it largely unplayable. the store page says keyboard supported (as if it should be a feature in a pc game), but it just means the game sometimes reacts to keypresses somehow.

Board Quizz Adventure
board quizz adventure is a trivia game with maps where players start on opposite sides and they have to reach the village before their opponent. steam’s remote play together technically makes it work online, otherwise it’s only local multiplayer, no ai opponents. the developer said they might add them, hasn’t happened yet.
– Real player with 2.1 hrs in game
I’d say positive, because I like the concept. But by nature of two players frantically answering separate trivia questions, I felt like we didn’t really talk or interact much. You’re too busy reading and answering to really joke around with each other. Maybe a mode that forces things to be turn based would be better?? Then you can take your time a bit, be more strategic, and better understand how the other player is doing.
Another thing, is 2 times we were both completely blocked, and the game doesn’t have checks in place to just end the level at that point. That would help
