Manic Archers
One of the best party games I’ve played! Unique, the artstyle is pure nostalgia, and the gameplay is just hilarious/random. This is a great party game, and love it’s Steam Co-Op compatible.

Well, first: you really do need a controller in order to play, it won’t work with mouse and keyboard. But even if it did, you’d still want a controller, I’d say. So now I probably need to buy a better controller for this…
The game has an awesome retro vibe, especially the music. The title doesn’t disappoint: the gameplay is frantic. You’re an archer, jumping around, shooting enemies, dodging projectiles, potentially hitting yourself while trying to get rid of the waves of enemies spawning. Fortunately your ammunition is also constantly spawning in random locations, because you need to keep supplied. And what an arsenal you can collect. It reminds me of the loadout of worms or xenon 2: absolutely ridiculously overpowered.

Medium Rare
Medium Rare is a local-multiplayer party game where you and your friends play as cute dragons!
Up to 4 players chase each other around arenas, breathe fire, & have a dragon-good time!
Hitting an opponent with dragon breath turns them into a… chicken leg! Score points and win by eating the most chicken legs!
Rounds only take a couple of minutes. The action is fast, easy to learn, and it’s fun for both new and experienced players!
The game’s two competitive modes are Death Match and Gauntlet. In Death Match, you play in quick one-round matches and you must eat the most chicken legs to win! In Gauntlet mode, you battle across hazard filled gauntlet maps! Score the most points over three rounds to the Gauntlet!

Floppy Heroes
A smashing evolution of an old formula. People who’ve played and enjoyed Ragdoll Masters, Ragdoll Kung Fu, Hammerfall, and other turn-of-the-century physics-based beat-em-ups will recognize the excellence of this title immediately.
For the uninitiated, you control a ragdoll character in a puppet fashion, flailing their weapons toward enemy weak points. In this game, armor provides some resistance to damage before falling off entirely, and further damage to un-armored limbs will result in dismemberment. Armor can provide offensive capabilities as well, which one-ups previous titles of this kind. An armored boot beats a bare skull, and even limbs holding weapons can be lopped off for proper disarming. Ranged weapons are included, and seem pretty fairly balanced with their limitations of reload speed and aiming precision. You can block with your weapons, as well as equip shields in your off-hand.

Let me start this off by saying I liked the game so much on my friends computer that I bought it to play on my own. I would have been willing to pay about 3-7$ for this game, if it works.
Now the real reason I put the “do not recommend:” the game refuses to open. I can get to the page where I can select resolution and whether it is windowed or not (I cannot change resolution or anything except for the windowed or not part), but this makes no difference. I can select windowed, hit play, and the game will proceed to open, play the (amazing) music, but just shows a black screen when I hover over the icon in the taskbar. If I click this icon, nothing happens. I have tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling, verifying cache integrity, and looking online for something I might have missed. I DO want to play this game, badly, but without being able to play it I cannot give a good review. I feel these issues might have to do with windows 10, but I’m not sure. If you have a solution or an update that would fix this, I am watching for updates and am waiting for a response to this review.

Final Foe
Final Foe is an isometric fantasy arena that challenges you to slay waves of monsters in a mysterious dungeon. Single player and co-op modes. Modifiers and boss rounds. Survive and fight to the end, until the last enemy is killed!
Main Features
-
Atmospheric medieval location.
The old cursed dungeon with several gates awaits you, from which numerous enemies arrive. You can also find dangerous traps that will come in handy to eliminate enemies
-
Non-target combat system.
This system works for both players and enemies. This means that any enemy attack can be dodged.
-
Campaign mode.
You need to destroy enemies round after round, including a short tutorial and several boss battles. As you progress, the difficulty increases. And at the end you will find the most powerful enemy - the final boss.
-
Survival mode.
This mode is one endless battle, during which more and more strong enemies appear. The goal is to score as many points as possible for killing enemies. Especially sophisticated players can choose the Ultra-difficulty level. This will allow you to get 3 times more points, but will require dodging any damage, since the character will only have 1 health point.
-
Various enemies.
Endless living dead, terrible knights, insidious magicians and many others, about whom you can find out when you meet. Different enemies have different characteristics. Some are weak and slow, some attack from a distance, and some can get so angry that it will be impossible to stop them…
-
Bosses.
As you progress through the Campaign mode, you will encounter several bosses. Fighting some of them will require special skill from you.
-
Skill tree.
The development of your character will take place by learning skills in the skill tree. At the moment, there are 3 intermediate and 4 advanced character classes available. Each of the advanced classes has unique active and passive abilities.
-
Cooperative multiplayer.
It is much more fun to destroy crowds of enemies together with your friends. This feature allows you to play in a team of up to 4 people.
Knight Squad
So I will start by saying this I bought this game while ago when It was on sale, and I have to say this game has far exceeded my expectation, and as a testimate I think I have a little over 30 hours logged in the game. There are a few bugs admittedly, but none that hinder the gameplay in anyway as far as I could tell. The game has a variety of gamemodes meaning you can keep the fun going for hours, and especially with friends no game is ever the same.
The single player challenged are difficult but not impossible. And I feel as though they have provided a difficult yet enjoyable challenge, and even on easy the higher level challenges require patience, and well timed strike before the enemy returns fire. I especially had trouble with the attack pattersn of the cell/plantdragon hybird challenge. There is hours upon hours of content here even with no friends, as the bots in certain games can easily compete and overwhelm the players.

Knight squad is a simple, top view, competitive combat game.
At its intitial release it already felt like a complete game, and yet I have yet to play an early access game with as much content released as frequently as knight squad.
The combat is simple, all buttons do the same thing, attack. There are, however, various weapons and powerups that spawn.
Knight Squad has a large range of game modes.
all vs all modes include:
-
Last man standing
-
A mode where points are aquired by staying alive in a central arena, and killing other players

Nine Parchments
achievements
great pick for achievement-hunters. achievements are interesting, without any unfairness. most of them require using magic attacks in some way (deal XXX damage, attack XXX enemies at once, use beam for XXX seconds, etc), which require either picking a right character, leveling-up in some unorthodox way, or finding a right enemy-spawner. sweet, fine and engaging

Chasing after nine parchments: chaotic but fun
Brief Overview
Nine Parchments is a magical twin-stick shooter which can be played alone or in up to four-person co-op. The game is set in the same universe as the Trine puzzle platformer series and shares the same vibrant surroundings and enchanting atmosphere. Nine Parchments is, however, very different from Trine.

Friday Night Bullet Arena
LOVE IT! Played with 3 good friends in a 4 player local vs game. The most fun I’ve had with my friends in a new game in a long time.
Fast paced and quick thinking, every round ended with cheers and laughter as we found new ways to outsmart eachother.
Never a dull moment with friends in this game.
Endless hours of fun!

I’m not gonna talk about the game mechanics and what It’s about - there are multiple reviews for it (or watch some videos)
I will only say this:
-
It has a cross platform (PC, Xbox and Switch)
-
Only the host most own the game (other players will download “Knight Squad 2 Trials”)
-
the game is REALLY cheap for what it offers (I thought it will cost like 25 €)
-
There are no microtransactions - You have 8 knights at the start - all other knights you will unlock though challenges
-
Everything that Knight Squad 1 was bad about - This game fixed it (at least for me)
