Eon Altar
THE GOOD:
Starting up was super easy. We only needed one copy of the game so I downloaded it, we all downloaded the app (onto our Galaxy S7 Edges) and connected to my wifi (on 2.4Ghz because my 5Ghz seems to sputter sometimes with everything I try to connect to it), started the game and put in a label, started the app on our phones connected and hit “Start” on the game (on the PC). We waited for only a few brief moments for each player to get their starting dialog and get connected with the other players. It was literally that easy.

The battle. Interesting and intense battles with multiple abilities and friendly fire.

Retromancer
This game is awesome! The speed and progression are excellent. The difficulty is just right. The graphics are flashy and the game has that unknown thing, that soul and mystique that make playing through it so good. Robotron lovers need to get this game now.

TL;DR: A good time-waster if you can get it on sale.
What I like is that it has a progression system to the powerups. Yes it feels a little tacked-on, but I don’t mind chasing the upgrades.
The game is competent, and the levels are enjoyable with good variety. However I find the graphics all look the same so you can’t distinguish your avatar from the projectiles, from the enemies, the enemy projectiles, etc. It is all a big phony retro blur.
I played it for about 1.5 hours before I grew weary. Probably wouldn’t have lasted that long but I’m a sucker for twin-stick shooters.

Tallowmere 2: Curse of the Kittens
THIS IS THE BEST. GAME. EVER. No hyperbole, no exaggeration, no lie. I would have said that for Developer Chris McFarland’s first Tallowmere, where I have over 1300 hours playing, by far the most of the nearly 2000 Games I own on Steam…but his Tallowmere 2 scratched every itch for a second game I didn’t even realize I itched for. Not only masterful, and a perfect improvement on the Original, IMHO, but you get to a point where you can play reflexively; eliminates stress, pain and any downfall while making for a challenging, exhilarating second outing. Pandemic? Tallowmere 2. Bonkers US Election? Tallowmere 2. Worst Year ever? Best Game ever. I’d gained 200 hours playing the Tallowmere 2 Demo, prior to the long-awaited E.A. Release Dec. 4th…and it STILL feels like new. I suppose it could be worse that the biggest shining, glowing Event of the Year is the release of a Game, rather than some personal accomplishment…but then…this Game really is THAT good! Too bad I couldn’t Nominate THIS game a week prior to its' release. IT’S. REALLY. THAT. GOOD. (UPDATE- NOV 2021- I DID NOMINATE THIS GAME FOR 2021 GAME OF THE YEAR!! So, I DID get my chance to Nominate what I STILL adamantly maintain is the BEST. GAME. EVER.!!!! My play-time since I wrote this review should speak for itself, too :) I hope y’all have found as much enjoyment with Tallowmere 2 as I have :) )

I’ve wrenched myself away from Tallowmere 2: Curse of the Kittens in order to proclaim it a bloody triumph. “Wrenched” is both completely honest & a total lie: I’d’ve played for another three hours straight with nary a pause for any reason – mind-blowing sex included – if I’d not been brutally murdered the second I thought, “I am now an unstoppable god.”
I’m already itching to duel katanas again, so I’ll make this as quick as I am in bed & hopefully return for a more thorough review at a later date. Suffice it (for now) to say that fans of clever quick roguelikes are in for a treat. Fans of beautiful pixel art are also in for a treat. Fans of violence & gore are similarly in for a chunky, oozing treat.

Bounty Battle
After a few post-release patches, Bounty Battle is now playing smoothly. It aims for Smash Bros' simplicity: normal attacks are varied by holding a direction with a button press, special attacks function the same way, and that’s it. No combos, no counters, and no secret special moves. The problem is the game couldn’t stop itself there. The additional systems are all certainly well-meaning: an energy cost for special attacks to encourage mixing in normal ones, spamming punishments to discourage button mashers, and a bounty system to keep the pressure on whoever is doing the best. Sadly the latter, which the game takes its name from, makes the best case for why these extra systems are superfluous.

I’ve put almost 10 hours into the game which I feel is enough to write a review fairly. So first off yes there is a lot of issues that need to be addressed (the discussions says it all) But! that doesn’t mean the game isn’t fun. I was able to look the other way with all the issues and actually enjoy the game fully and I have to say it’s actually good! A lot of people may not agree with me but i’m not here to argue i’m here to say that this game does have a lot of potential and even though it got released with high expectations for a lot of gamer’s and was not delivered at launch does not mean you should look the other away and ignore this game. I realize that the developers are a small crew and that it will take time to address all the known issues but for the mean time I support this game fully. I’ve enjoyed the content it has at the moment and I am happy I purchased this on day one, this way I can see the game grow and evolve into something even more amazing then it already is! If your hesitant on purchasing the game definitely wish list it and keep an eye out for upcoming updates otherwise I recommend it. Be patient as in time the game will slowly become what everyone wanted.

-
Each level is set up in a different atmosphere, with different enemies.
The idea of creating this videogame came in when spending time with our young family members (e.g. nephews and niece) playing a videogame. It should be easy to play, not too many buttons, yet plenty of fun. We are scripting from the very beginning everything to accommodate three languages; English, French and Spanish, so the videogame will be available en those three languages.
We just give you for now a video and a couple of screen capture of the first tests.
We are thinking on adding a script to be able to import your own pictures to the game, so instead of having the 4 portraits of each character, you may import yours. I bet my niece and nephews would love that.
Alpha version of the videogame, actual game play, is working well.
Initial early version: integrating First Person Mode on split screen with main campaign, for up to 4 players;
GAME CONTROLLERS
You may use;
-
Xbox One controllers or similar
-
Keyboard & Mouse
LOCALISATION
I have been integrating different languages from the very beginning of programming / development. I use Dialogue System from Pixel Crushers which allows easy integration, and for specific short texts as in the Main Menu, I have just hardcode it. Once you choose a language, Dialogue System keeps / save that info for the entire videgame, so upon load an scene, Dialogue System load all previous saved data including language chosen.
