Jamestown+
Touhou. In Colonial America. In Space.
Probably not the most accurate comparison, but it’s definitely the most convenient. At the very least, the spectacle is very much comparable to Touhou if we’re to go by soundtrack and background art. Anyways, this game was originally released back in 2011 on Steam, became abandonware in 2015 and resurfaced yesterday with a significant portion of content for all skill levels. While the loyalty discount is debatable for people who played the original 2011 release, it’s definitely a welcome treat for people who haven’t played the original.

I don’t have many hours on this one yet, but I have more on the original. This package is great value, especially if you like this genre of game or want games to play couch co-op. It doesn’t have online multiplayer, but playing with people is absolutely not mandatory to enjoy the game. In fact the way lives work in multiplayer means it can be more difficult to complete a level in co-op play than in solo. Unless you and the people you play with are a similar skill level you will probably get a lot more out of single player.

Simple Light Cycles
Ridiculously simple idea makes for ridiculous fun! Awesome game that deserves more traction and attention than it gets. May seem like a one trick pony, but with so many modifiers it really isn’t.

I grabbed this up on a sale thinking if it wasn’t great, it was a small loss. We added it to our party games for a group of 8 people (4 at a time, using Steam Link + Controllers).
It was a surprise favorite! Everyone loved it, and we ended up coming back to it several times after playing other games.
It’s great fun, highly recommended for any party gaming group, especially since it’s such a simple concept everyone picks it up quickly, but the skill to do those tight areas well will keep the game challenging for any group!

Cymatically Muffed
The good:
Lots of fast fun frenetic action, plenty of game modes.
Audio track is decent.
Good menus, extensive controls and customization.
Responsive, capable developer.
The bad:
Hard to see some items, visual style is lacking and can make things unclear sometimes.

I’ve played the local multiplayer several times with friends and have had a great time playing. The variety of game types and settings provide a lot of options for replayability. I can’t wait to play the campaign once it is released, especially since it can be played coop. Cymatically Muffed is reminiscent of older classics while still providing new and exciting mechanics of it’s own. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Splody
Perhaps the best Bomberman clone on Steam.
+Cheap (Goes on discount sale often)
- Has AI bots (Very hard for beginners but its a good challenge)
+Has 3 official servers. Has LAN play If you ever have friends you can enjoy this with one Keyboard and Many controllers
- Many unique modifiers ,powers, mechanics and maps
- Dead playerbase. I searched for people to play Splody couldnt find one. ;(
Aside from its looking cheap ass mobile port. Its actually really good game. There are many Bomberman clones on Steam and all other gaming platforms. But i like splody. I really do. Give this gem a chance.

The game is way too cheap ! :P
I would gladly pay 15 or 20€ for it.
Back in the day I played original Dyna Blaster on 386 CPU, and Atomic Bomberman on 486/Pentium.
I was anxiously waiting for about last 10 years when someone finally makes new Atomic Bomberman on PC since I never owned any console.
I wasn’t completely happy with this game when it came out, but now it can be configured to play pretty much the same as original AB.
(Or the settings we played with back then,.. I don’t remmember if it was default or not.)

Snake vs Snake
A GAME EVERYONE SHOULD BUY!!!
I usually never spent a dime on games BUT THIS GAME IS IT! JUST TRUST A STRANGER FOR ONCE,
you’ll make good memories, download it on a laptop, and play with a chick you like on the same keyboard :)
thank you developers!!
it came very handy in parties, played with 8 people on a tv, everyone got the handle of this game easily,
I would dare to say this is better than popular party games!

Always enjoyed playing Snake, first on my Nokia 8310, and then 3600 (remembered the model number for the latter, as I bizarrely included it in a sketch for my answering service message, but had to look up the former—N O S T A L G I A).
This game has everything you loved about those versions, enhanced by (optional) power-ups, local multiplayer (up to 6) and a plethora of modes and modifiers to keep things interesting. A couple of my fav. settings, should you care to try them, are “Pew Pew Tailless,” on “Super Fast” (second fastest) game speed, and “Tail Runner,” on “Slow.”
