Pickaxe does nothing at all. I can’t progress past anything that requires flint because of it. I tried to use multiple pickaxe on any form of rock I could find. I would have had a lot more fun if my body was marked on the map after death, I walked forever just to find out my dead body despawned, or maybe just never dropped at all. Hopefully a dev fixes this, I’d like to actually enjoy the game

Broken Sword 4 - the Angel of Death
When I saw that this game received mixed reviews, I still kept my hopes high. After all, Broken Sword 3 got mixed reviews, and I enjoyed it, despite being trampled by boxes ;). Then I played it. I will say this: I’m glad I played it. I’m a Broken Sword fan; therefore, I must play the whole series. If you are a Broken Sword fan, you probably should play it. It doesn’t get everything wrong, it just doesn’t get enough right. I feel that Broken Sword 3 was much stronger in terms of story and graphics. Anyhow, lets get to the positives of this game before I load you with the negatives.

Broken Sword 4
Sadly this really is one just for fans of the series… and even then this game will test a lot of them too.
I’ve played a lot of this game due to PC issues… mostly being that I like to reinstall my O.S. every few months to keep my PC clean and fast as possible. Sadly this means that I’ve had to restart games that don’t have cloud save features (This and Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag being two off the top of my head.) Simply put I’ve seen enough of this game up to the Turkish palace bit to last me a lifetime. Anyway that might explain why I logged up so many hours on this game.

The Pilgrim
A very cool, short, find the object puzzle game. Love the graphics and the mood music. The only complaint I have is that occasionally the camera angle makes it difficult to see what I need to see. Otherwise, this game is fun and somewhat challenging. I’d love to play a longer version of this. Works on Linux with Steam Play / Proton. Yay!

It looks nice but there’s nothing really to it. Though the fixed camera positions made it more difficult than it needed to be, this was enjoyable as a student work demonstration. Playing it on Steam is like stopping off for ten minutes in a busy final year exhibition.

The Soldiers Factory
The Soldiers Factory is a top-down stealth game and the start of a trilogy.
Go undetected and sneak past enemy soldiers or secretly kill them. Overcome surveillance cameras and laser barricades. Use the room scanner, the taser pistol and many other weapons. But remember, the alarm will make the mission even more difficult.
The playing time on the NORMAL level of difficulty is approximately 12 hours. Of course, it depends on the player. The story takes you to several locations, which is divided into over 60 levels.
BARBAROS
STORY:
When we awaken on an island and study the mysteries of the island. We spilled blood using our sword and pistol for the greatest treasure in the history of piracy. Make sure you have a good time with its action while dragging this game story in which we strive to rule the seas.
Be careful and don’t overlook the clues. Solving the mystery of an island will never be easy. Find explorable areas, access the knowledge and glory of the pirates who have already ridden the island. Learn from the mistakes of others and do not succumb to your ambition.
USABLE WEAPONS:
You can use your sword or gun to defeat enemies and reach the treasure, so you can reach your target by defeating the enemies that come in front of you. Let’s remind that it is more difficult to hit the target with a gun.
CAMERA ANGLE:
Our game, which has a third person perspective, has been used to provide a more comfortable control with a better observation of the environment.
GRAPHIC AND MAP DESIGN:
Our game is to immerse you in that atmosphere and to do it to increase the sense of exploration.
OPEN THE WORLD:
You are on an island that offers different discoverable regions in a vast open world and there are enemies that will not leave you alone.
Dark Forest: The Horror
Dark Forest is a pretty good adventure horror game with decent graphics and atmospheric soundtrack.

L.A. Noire
Great game with a unique premise. The facial animation is used to determine if a witness/suspect is telling the truth or lying. The voice acting is solid and the cases are based on real life cases of the era. The developers researched how police investigations were done in the 40s and it shows.
Sadly, I can’t recommend this game as you require a connection to RockStar’s Social Club. After 30+ hours of playing the game stops connecting to the SC. That means it wont' launch. I’ve reinstalled the game but still I can’t connect to the SC. Such a shame too. It was good while it lasted. I’d avoid this entirely.

Buyer beware.
I have bought the Complete edition and it did indeed have all the content and DLC. However in 2019 I had to uninstall to make room for other games, and here I am in 2021 trying to reinstall it, only to find that it only gives me some of the content.
It only gives me a couple of the patrol cases and the DLC that didn’t come with the original game and I found none of the regular game levels are there at all, which is odd as I had done most of them before I had to uninstall and still have trophies for them.

Operation: VICUS
There is only you, the chosen one who rules over the village. You have to find out what the strange notes are about, where do they come from and what do they want to tell you? Besides, with your actions you will strengthen or weaken your relationship with your inhabitants. Make tough decisions that will haunt you longer than you might think. Expand your village to accommodate more inhabitants and explore new things in the laboratory, be it weapons, buildings and much more. However, you’ll have to stay alert, because you’ll be haunted by insidious beasts that would love to destroy your village. So you must train your troops and lead them into battle!
Build your village
With the help of your mines, the ores extracted from there will be processed by your blacksmith and in combination with the wood of the forester, great things can be built, such as new habitable houses, attractions for the inhabitants or yet barracks and defensive guns. With the help of your laboratory you can improve your buildings and make them more robust or you can have new, better buildings researched, which you can then use in your village!
Satisfaction
If you want to work your way forward, it is of great importance to take care of your villagers. You need to monitor their happiness, either the overall happiness of your village or the happiness of the individual citizens. If the villagers are in a bad mood, you need to get to the bottom of it and, if necessary, fix the problems that cause it using the Satisfaction menu or the information provided by the individual citizens. But if you neglect their feelings, you have to expect deterioration in your production and further problems!
Day management
The daily schedule of the villagers is determined by you alone. You can determine the schedule of each citizen: You can make them work longer hours to boost your production, give them more free time or alternatively let them decide what they want to do. However, you must never forget that your actions affect the mood of each citizen, and their moods add up to determine the satisfaction level of your village. So make sure that the inhabitants have nothing to complain about!
Low Poly Artstyle
Dive into the world of the unique Low Poly Artstyle and experience relaxed atmospheres in the morning or mysterious mood in the evening. The interplay between the cartoon-like animations and the beautiful low poly look creates beautiful moments. The music, reminiscent of No Mans Sky in places, creates a great ambience with its style that always fits the situation.
Combat and defense
Upgrade your town with barracks and guns to defend against the invaders! Upgrade your barracks to get better and stronger troops. Decide which strategy you want to follow, fight with weaker but more troops or less but stronger? And better to finish everything in close combat or to finish the enemy from a distance? Or both? You decide and lead your warriors into battle and decide still in battle which targets your troops should attack and how many of your soldiers should pursue this target!
Story
Find out what the strange notes are all about! Make tough decisions and try to understand what this village is all about!
The 18th Floor
I really enjoyed the game so far. The puzzles are challenging and I really like the style. But I’m a little disappointed with the lack of transparency from the creators. The last news we have been given is that more puzzles will be released in Q4 of last year. We are now on the brink of Q2 this year and still nothing. I just today found out that PSVR was updated but not steam (which bummed me out). So I would love to know what the deal is and if we can expect the DLC for Steam players soon too. Please AOGA Tech give us an update! I see that there are new achievements so I hope that means it won’t be too long. AOGA, I humbly ask that you keep the people who invested in your game updated in regards to progress. When I bought the game I thought I would be seeing more than 2 floors by the end of the year. Please let us know what to expect AOGA! I’m sure I’m not the only one who would appreciate it!

personally, I really liked the game but to be honest, I thought that the puzzles were a little overboard. There are things going on in the puzzle that I swear only people who created it would be able to figure out. I was starting to wonder if some of the people trying to help out were people who actually made the puzzle themselves and realized that it would take many days for the common player to figure out. The one thing that I really messed up is the fact that some of the puzzles are hard enough to figure out that it will take some people more then just a few minutes and yet, if you dont finish it, you cant save it and have to start all over. There does need to be a save feature so we dont have to keep playing the same scene over and over again. A save feature may also help out with the common problem of dropping something and having the item disappear into the floor so that you cant use it and then have to start the game over just to get it back. I do recommend the game though. I thought the graphics were great and I was fully into the game. I do look forward to the next installment
