Slikoban

Slikoban

[EN/US]

SlikoBan is another game inspired by the Sokoban game genre and you have to put some colored blocks in the right spots by pushing them through the levels. The difference between Sliko and SlikoBan is that in the later one you can push the blocks any number of tiles you want, although that should make the game easier that’s not what happens here. The game is difficult and the late level are kinda frustrating. But it’s difficulty doesn’t make it a bad game, quite the opposite, is the challenge that makes it a good game.

Sliko

[EN/US]

Sliko is a type of Sokoban game where you have to put some colored blocks in the right spots by sliding them through the levels and despite it’s simple gameplay the levels can be somewhat difficult. The difficult increases little by little, level by level, but there as some early levels that are way harder than some late ones. All in all, Sliko is a great game and it’s worthy its cost.

[PT/BR]

I like it very much. This game is awesome. It might be difficult at first. If you play for a while, it will challenge you a lot. Thank you for creating a good puzzle game.

Another tile sliding puzzle with a cat. This one has a sci-fi theme and spacey music. You can only really see it’s a cat on the title screen, otherwise it’s just a small mars rover that goes along the path. It gets a bit tedious towards the end when there is only one tile to spare but that’s pretty standard for tile sliders. Nice for an evening with a puzzle and some bright warm colored mars environments.

Really enjoy this game with my friends! Although the rules are easy, we can always find different strategies to beat each other :) Wish there will be a map editor. Cannot wait to create some maps to share with my friends!

Good party game that is awesome if you can find someone else to play with.

Good:

  • Innovate gameplay.

  • Has AI player so you can play alone.

Bad:

  • Too many loading screens.

  • No V-sync.

  • I don’t want to get a poo when I lose a round.

  • Online match is impossible unless you can find people at right place.

Wish:

  • Level editor with Steam Workshop support.

  • Custom match but you can set multiple levels instead of just one.

The Royal Game of Ur 3D

The Royal Game of Ur 3D

The Royal Game of Ur is the oldest board game known to mankind!

The game belongs to the sub-genre of board games called “racing games” and is the historic predecessor of Backgammon. 4500 years old game boards, pieces and dice of the Royal Game of Ur were found in the so-called “Royal Tombs of Ur” near the city of the same name in todays Iraq. On several, approx. 2000 years old Babylonian clay tablets, which were inscribed with cuneiform writing, rules of the game were preserved. These are the oldest surviving rules of a board game.

A Classic Game in a Modern Style

This digital adaptation offers you the opportunity to relive this timeless gaming masterpiece in our modern times. You can play against a computer opponent with an adjustable difficulty level or against human players. Both local and online multiplayer are supported. The game rules can be adjusted to your individual likings in each match.

What You Can Expect

The game requires you to make smart tactical decisions, but doesn’t put you under time pressure. Combined with the realistic graphic style and atmospheric sound ambiance, the game offers a perfect mix between puzzling and relaxation.

The Rules in a Nutshell

Move your pieces along one of several available routes across the 20 squares of the game board. To do this, you roll the four tetrahedron-shaped dice and move one piece of your choice at a time according to the total of the values shown on the dice. There must never be more than one piece on the same square, so you may kick opposing pieces off the board. If a piece lands on a square that is marked with a rosette, it is protected from being kicked out. In addition, the dice may be rolled one more time. If you get all your pieces to the finish line, you win.

Zen Cube

Zen Cube

This is a fun little gem.

It is inexpensive and has bright colorful graphics.

Like in the description, you have to quickly make the last 2 moves to solve the cube

( don’t expect a full cube simulation here ).

This won’t hold your attention for long, but playing it with cubist friends will help.

It took a while to get used to making the moves. You have to switch faces to get different slice moves

( whether it’s an up/down move or a left/right move ) and then click the arrow in the direction you want.
