Blessings of No-more
So first off this game is a challenge! Expecting anything less would be stupid. While it may be challenging it still quite fun, its got a pokemon-esque combat system and some cool builds you can make with the blessings. I really enjoyed the character design and the art! If your up for a bit of a grind and a challenge its definitely worth the 99 cents. Pro tip, you decide to get the game make sure you equip your first blessing right away!

As someone who has seen this game evolve from its ‘RPG combat’ prototype form to that game that it is now, I can confirm it has since come a long way. It’s become its own game by now, with all kinds of neat features and gimmicks. It’s a nice homeage to classic JRPG combat within a more western style roguelike RPG.
You start out with next to nothing in an unkown realm, and you’ll have to fight your way to the exit. You’ll have to find blessings and fight monsters to grow in power and up your stats in order to survive the quickly growing power of the enemies. Every area is guarded by some form of boss monster which you’ll have to get through, but to get to him you’ll have to fight your way through monsters and mini bosses. For those confident in their platforming skills there’s also hidden areas where loot and powerups can be found through jumping puzzles. However, die once, inside or outside of combat, and you’ll have to start over.

History
GO HEROES Prometheus development started at a game jam back in 2017, where it won 1st place.
For some time, the devs showcased the prototype at conferences and festivals. After collecting positive feedback, in 2019, they decided to self-fund and focus full-time on the development. In 2021 after a long and rocky development, they have ended up with a story-rich world, innovative gameplay, and an hour-long demo. The next move is to run a Kickstarter campaign on June 29, 2021, and get the much-needed support to push the game through to its completion.

Review:
I’m actually surprised by how fun this game was considering the creator emphasizes how early access it is. The game plays well and it really keeps you on your toes, because restarting from the beginning actually sucks. The enemies have some neat attacks and can pressure you pretty well and seeing your character progress it’s pretty entertaining. Improvements I would suggest is telling the player they can leave the run to use their trait points and continue the same run. I think having the shop upgrades cycle as you buy them would keep the game more balanced and interesting, because if shield upgrade and ranged weapon upgrade are available it’s a no brainer what you’re going to buy. I tried 4 different weapons before realizing the starter weapon is all you need I’m not sure if I got unlucky or what, but the starter weapon was the only one which would auto fire when I held the left click. The game can be abused a little bit as well since you can leave the game and rejoin it to make sure the shop has what you want in it. Overall I had a ton of fun with this game and hopefully I’ll be able to check it out again when it full releases.

Gods Will Fall
I will say this right off the bat this game is definitely not for everyone. This is not diablo don’t play if you cannot stand losing or think this is a simple button masher. (WARNING: This game was designed for a controller, although it is not impossible to play with a keyboard it will take practice, dont hesitate to reconfigure the keys to something you are comfortable with)
The basic premise is you have 8 randomly generated warriors and 10 gods to kill, to kill one you must choose one warrior to control and traverse the dungeon of said god and then face him in combat, be warned once inside there are only three endings. Victory, capture or death. The catch however is that on each playthrough the strength of the boss will vary each time, the boss that was super easy in your first playthrough might be the strongest in the next one, worst of all you have no way of knowing until you send someone inside and once inside there is no backing out.

A challenging game full of charm and atmosphere. Note: I bought this on special with 40% off.
I finished Gods Will Fall last night and was pleasantly surprised at the fun journey I had just had. I bought this game despite the mixed reviews because I saw something in the trailers that just clicked with me and I think a lot of the negative reviews are there because the game isn’t what most gamers were expecting.
Yes the game has rogue-like elements and dare I say it, is a little souls like, but over all I think the game sets out to do it’s own thing in a way that put some players off because again, they weren’t expecting it.

Jump Kid
Grassy fields, wintery lands, to even molten lava biomes, you must, and I mean MUST reach the top of the mountain by any means necessary. Jump Kid made a deal with a magical fairy, that if he made it to the top of the mountain she’d grant him any selfish wish he wants. But there’s a twist: Jump Kid can only make it up to the top by only jumping (Thus the name). Good thing you never missed leg day.
Jump Kid is a solo indie project made entirely from one person. (Me!) Divinal is my own founded company, and is currently in a small stage of what is to come! I will continue to work and develop Jump Kid until it is a fully released game with everything a 3D platformer could want! Steam achievements, cards, etc. More and more info will be released such as the new biomes you will come across in the Jump Kid universe. Be sure to check out the social media links on the Steam page for more info!
