Gravity Runner
An innovative platformer/runner from an indie dev. It’s fun and hard - each level ramps up the difficulty and throws some new obstacles at you. I love the aesthetics - the scenery, lighting and soundtrack set up a cool vibe.

A fun neon endless runner. As you progress more mechanics get introduced and the levels become trickier - and as you fall behind things get more chaotic and difficult!
Huge fan of the cyber neon graphic style.

An effective, charming 3D platform experience that is honestly one of the best on steam. I got to play this early thanks to the dev but in no way did that influence my opinion on it, it is genuinely a great experience you should check out for yourself.

Starshot: Space Circus Fever
This may be the best way to play Starshot: Space Circus Fever today.
It’s relatively sad, because, as it’s been said, it is a bad port.
This being said, all of the issues can be overcome, and you can have an enjoyable experience with a few precautions.

TECHNICAL ISSUES
…obviously we’ll have to live with these homemade “fixes”, I have no hope these devs will ever take a second look at the game.
First of all, the FRAMERATE. The game becomes completely unplayable at some points in the first level. You have to exit the game and restart, you get 1 frame per second or something. I solved this problem running the game in compatibility mode for Windows XP - Service Pack 3. After I did this, my save file got deleted (?), but then I completed the game with ZERO FRAMERATE ISSUES, FROM BEGINNING TO END.

Personally I enjoyed the game for the nostalgia. One of the first games i ever played on computer. Starshot is a super old game, and therefore plays like it. Broken camera angles, messy controls and getting stuck on more than a fair share of objects. However I got lucky with it playing just fine on windows 10. I honestly thought I would encounter more bugs running it.

Eversleep: Lunistice Gaiden
Before you buy, a little warning - this game was made in a self-imposed challenge to create a commercially viable game in only 30 days.
…Which didn’t quite work out! Turns out: 30 days is actually a really short amount of time to create a game that’s not only commercially viable, but also fun!
The goal was still to make a fun game in the end, with polished gameplay, but - you know - still expect some jank and not a TON of playtime!
Eversleep? More like Nosleepforthedeveloper, am I right, hahaha (help).
But what is Eversleep?
Now that’s a good question! Eversleep: Lunistice Gaiden is a 3D Platformer created with simple but fun gameplay and a cute PS1/SEGA Saturn inspired artstyle in mind. Take the role of Hana the Tanuki and jump and fight through her dreams! What secrets await her on the moon - her final destination?
Eversleep features a retro look heavily inspired by early 90s 3D graphics with bouncy enemies and a fluffy heroine.

How Eversleep came to life
Good. So you’ve made it this far in the text. We did not lose you, thank you!
Eversleep: Lunistice Gaiden was developed within 30 days as a challenge for A Grumpy Fox. For transparency’s sake: he is also working for the publisher of the game, Deck13.
Together we had this idea to provide as much data about the game’s development and release as possible: to support upcoming game developers and give interested players an insight about the development and marketing process. That means we are releasing sales numbers, discount strategies and valuable development and marketing info via Twitter and Medium. If you would like to support this approach and experiment, feel free to buy the game. And if you dislike it, feel free to make use of the refund system Steam offers. Every data helps making the process more transparent.

The Neon Mate

Slime 64
Slime 64 is a 3D Collectathon Platformer inspired by the 64-bit era!
Play as four uniquely strong elemental Slimes in any order you’d like as they meet each other on their journey and combine their powers to save the world from the diabolical Wurl Tzun and his ever-expanding enterprise. The Geo Keys and Golden Bells will unlock new worlds to explore as you amass your strength in numbers (and your pile of goodies).
Meet the Slimes!
Fly through the air with Winona, zip through water at high speed with Marsh, dash and jump farther and higher with Ash, and build up insane speed rolling around as Tuff. These four slimes hail from all around the world, but through their adventures will meet and fuse, allowing their powers to be used at the same time!
Choose a Visual Style
Some people prefer jaggy edges and scanlines, others prefer crystal clear sight. Play the game with Nostalgia Goggles set to On, HD Remaster, or Blinding!
Adaptive Soundtrack
Catchy tunes inspired by the style and tone of yesteryear combined with some smart programming help capture that classic exploration feel.
All sorts of challenges!
Do you like platforming? How about puzzle solving? Speedrunning? As fans of all of the above, we’re pushing Slime 64 to be the best it can be, and to offer something for everyone.

Macbat 64
Video version of this review: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=889564512
Macbat 64 is a throwback to the classic platform games made by Rareware back in the 1990s. I was really looking forward to this game. I was a big fan of Donkey Kong 64 back in my early teen years. And I’m also a pretty big fan of the prequel to this game called “Kiwi 64”. So I actually had high expectations for this game. I really love the classic N64 look.
In Kiwi 64, you play as… well, Kiwi, and you have to defeat the evil Melon King. There’s really not much of a boss fight. You just gather a bunch of genie lamps together and they blast the king off the top of the mountain. Macbat 64 begins with a narration of this particular event.

This is a game i’ve been following since greenlight and day one of release i’ve bought and beaten it. I like this game, but it’s definately a 6/10 situation more than it is a 9/10.
The controls definately feel like an old N64 game, and combine that with the looks of the models and the game definately has the clunkiness and feel of an N64 game. Which is exactly what i want when i buy a game selling itself as a celebration of the N64 era.
You play as Macbat, i think. The story is definately lacking; the game likes to throw you straight into the action. There are a few cutscenes but the gist fo the game is you are a protagonist who needs to find 6 keys to do something about a broken water factory. Along the way you go through ten levels with some unique environments and quests where you explore a bunch and find things to help cute and quirky characters. These characters will give you more things that will help you explore things and do quests until you find a key and the level is done. Sounds pretty good right?

OVERSTARS
ABOUT
OVERSTARS is a 3D Flying Game. Fly your ship through tight gaps, hard turns, and more.
GAMEPLAY
In OVERSTARS, precise movements are key. Mess up a turn? Hit a wall? Fail to dodge an obstacle? Back to the beginning of the map for you. Move your ship UP & DOWN and turn it LEFT and RIGHT with WASD.
Thunder Kid II: Null Mission
What happens when you take 2d Megaman and DIRECTLY TRANSLATE about 75% of it’s mechanics, then splice it a bit with shmups, all into a 3D game? This game happens.
Pros:
-Excellent enemy variety
-it’s entirely possible to platform past enemies, however certain segments do force you to kill certain enemies
-Decent level design variety
-Enemy designs and color palettes quickly allow the player to learn, and later recognize enemy attack patterns, you won’t find yourself squinting trying to recognize obstacles, pitfalls, projectiles, or enemies against the environment, every danger you need to understand is presented quite explicitly

A real retro blast!
The bosses are a real highlight of the action, but some of the environments really stood out to me as well for fun level design, especially the city and the aerial armada.
Thunder Kid II has a lot of small polish and usability improvements over the first game, which I appreciated. Less hitbox confusion, more blasting robots!
