Space Hole 2018
I’ve only played about 3 hours now, and I can tell I’m nowhere near completing this game. Space Hole 2018 is visually stunning. It plays a lot like the Super Monkey Ball series, but is a lot less annoying in every respect. Minor game mechanics make the game much more enjoyable, plus you gain these new mechanics throughout the game which gives a sense of achievement and growth. The soundtrack is great too. Overall, this is an awesome, relaxing, psychedellic game that is definitely worth the listed $3.

This seems to be what Sam Atlas was aiming for all along. This newest Space Hole has a lot more of the Antichamber vibe and is overall a great improvement on 2016. Here’s why.
Pros
-
Visually a lot more interesting now. Full on psychedelia, the inner workings of a mass hadron collider, giant chess sets, hypercubes, Saturday Night Fever disco floors the lot.
-
More varied levels this time. Not just a get from point A to point B anymore. You sometimes need to exit your ball and fly around to scope out the large levels to see where you are supposed to be heading and work out a strategy.

Psychonauts 2
I’ll start this off saying I have basically no nostalgia for this series. I got into it literally days before this game released and my god was I missing out. The first game was wonderful and incredibly charming, but this one? Absolutely phenomenal. I don’t play games a lot, as I have trouble focusing on them and get bored easily, but in this game I was completely engrossed the entire way through. The story, the characters, hell, even the environments and overall feel of this game are all top tier. Definitely one of my all time favorites now, and I’m currently slowly working my way to 100%. Double Fine has absolutely outdone themselves with this title.

This game is the sequel I waited over a decade for. The first game was one of my favorite platformers when I found it, and when I had heard there was a sequel coming, I was READY. Now, when I had heard this game was coming, all I wanted was a follow-up to the cliffhanger from 1 (and Rhombus, after that came out). It could’ve played the same, and I would’ve been fine. HOWEVER, not only did the story surpass my expectations of what they could build off of from the world the first game created, the gameplay received so many major improvements. Each power was improved, and could be leveled up after unlocking. New features left and right, each of them incredibly useful and creative. Mental cobwebs were replaced with collectibles that were much more fun. And the devs are always listening to feedback, and that meant so much to see. Given the game’s themes and the target demographic, it deserves that accessibility and attention to details and playerbase. This game blew me away, and while it will never replace the original, it certainly lived up to it.

Don’t Touch this Button!
Friends and I got this game an SRC Leaderboard and the speedrun for both Glitches and Glitchless are pretty fun. Couple of glitches in this game but it makes the speedrun fun and I would recommend this game. The only problem I really have is that it tends to skip frames every now and then but that may be because it wasn’t optimized for more than 60fps.

Really fun and cute game. I enjoyed it all the way to the end and what an end! The puzzles are simple but still worth figuring out. Enjoyed every minute of this game.

Find Yourself
I’m not quite sure if I enjoyed this game but I definitely don’t think I disliked it. I played Locked Up before playing this game and the dev does show some progression but the same basic premise is used in both games. Walk around and/or interact with certain items to trigger the next event. The biggest plus is that this game has a running option! So, it makes the game feel a lot less sluggish than Locked Up. There was a part where you were actively chased, which I thought seemed a bit unnecessary and out of place. However, it did add in a bit of a different kind of suspense, but I didn’t really like it. Unlike Locked Up, the main character can die which I did enjoy.

EMIKA_GAMES is definitely a horror up-and-comer! Their first being Locked Up (LU) a bold haunted house starter. But one which I concluded was undone by its story and the overbearing, ravaging sound effects instead of the much-needed subtler silence to give a healthy mix. I had no notion this 2nd title Find Yourself (FY) was even in production, because I thought their 3rd From Day to Day in development now was going to be it!
