I played this game on stream with the developers for a few hours, and it’s definitely got something interesting aspects to it. It’s early access, so I expect a decent amount of polish down the line in terms of visuals and juice, but it’s got the movement mechanics down to a tee so far.

This game behaves almost identically to bhopping in the source engine, so anyone familiar with the mechanics from those games would have a very easy time getting into Jumping Jax. It also adds some more interaction in terms of the portal mechanics, which work very similarly to the portal mechanics in Portal, albeit a little on the buggy side (again, it’s in Early Access, so I’ll let that slide). Together, these make for some interesting level concepts that you won’t find in any other game.

Cyber Dodge

A relaxing precision platformer that includes some 80’s style synth music. The design is simplistic but it looks cool with the different neon colors. The last level is probably where I spent most of the time playing this game, had to lose like 500 times to beat it.

For the amount of levels I would say the full price is a little too high, you can get games with much more gameplay content for 5€. On sale, it is worth it though. I would recommend getting it full price if dev decides to add more levels and maybe achievements too.

My amazing experiences was fun and cannot be described in words. Challenging at times but love see option where we could change the ball to use for cosmetic purposes. Has Tron feel and makes you think as dodge your way through simple to challenging levels. Thank you NKVN Games opportunity to demonstrate their game.

Punkgrad

Punkgrad

Punkgrad is a fast-paced and bloody 3D platformer. You will become a crazy guy, with an important mission on his shoulders to save the world that was hung by a strange homeless man. It is not clear where this man came from and who he is at all, but apparently, now you will have to do what he says, but exactly to chop and to shoot creatures from different dimensions and listen to his meaningless chatter on the interlink, because there is no another way out of the situation.

You will have to go through all this experience till the end and maybe there you will find answers to your numerous questions or not, who knows…

7th Sector

7th Sector

A great side-scrolling sci-fi puzzle-adventure game, occasionally let down by some tedious elements.

Picture Playdead’s side-scrolling masterpieces, LIMBO and INSIDE, add some of Cyberpunk 2077 and Half-Life 2’s atmosphere, and what you get is essentially what 7th Sector is all about.

7th Sector is a visually striking side-scrolling story, occasionally interjected with puzzle elements, set in a dystopian city of the future, the likes of which strongly resemble the environments encountered in Half-Life 2 and Cyberpunk 2077.

Thank you to the lone developer and publisher,Носков Сергей, for creating and providing a good game for me to escape, explore, think and enjoy.

The 7th sector is simply put, a very good side scrolling puzzle game set in a beautiful cyberpunk dystopian future. I can name a half-dozen games where it is similar in aesthetic and story, but it is able to differentiate itself from others with a no hand holding approach to the puzzle/problem gameplay. This approach is welcome to puzzle adventurers but newcomers will find this difficult to frustrating and reading user reviews not surprising.
